Rebeccah had missed yet, another day of school, over the past few weeks she had lost her desire to do a lot of things. Whenever she did go to school you could tell she wasn’t her usual self. She dressed more comfy rather than sexy and she rarely even bothered to be the center of attention in class and in her group of friends. She hated this version of herself, but she couldn’t’ find the strength in her to go back to the Beccah everyone loved to hate and most feared. She had lost her first love and even though it was her own fault, it killed her how fast he was moving on and getting back into “the game”. Despite how much of an asshole he was being towards her, she missed him. He had been the one person she let in the most and the only boy she had ever been in love with. She didn’t think she’d ever be able to find that again, not with anyone else. She was never good at relationships and this was exactly why, she was too selfish and she made impulsive decisions without talking about certain things. Would she ever be able to actually keep a relationship? Even her parents were splitting up, not that she hadn’t noticed a shift in their relationship before. But the divorce actually happening only made it more real. Were Walkers just incapable of being truly happy with someone?
The day had gone by kind of slow for Rebeccah, mostly because she was just in bed watching horror movies, anything to keep her mind off of everything else. At about 4pm, she finally managed to move around the house, but only because it was time for some junk food therapy. She walked down the staircase, wearing pajama bottoms, a tank top, and a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. When she got to the living room, she put the blanket down on the couch and headed towards the kitchen. She had been eating a lot more, only because food was the only thing that could make her happy nowadays. She was starting to see why Brandon loved it so much, but that train of thought immediately disappeared. She had promised herself that she wouldn’t think about him, even though it was difficult not to. How did he have such a power over her? She hated this feeling.
Rebeccah opened the fridge and the freezer both, so that she can get a good look at all of her options. She was the only person in the house and she knew she’d have the place to herself this evening. It was Friday, and of course everyone had something to do. She remembered those nights, she missed them too, but she couldn’t bring herself to really want any company or to even think about smiling or having a good time. Would she even be able to actually enjoy herself again? She felt incomplete and broken, she hadn’t even had those weekly parties she used to throw. James, Ariel, and Bailey all did their best to check up on her, which she was grateful for, but it didn’t necessarily repair what was emotionally damaged.
She frowned when she realized she finished the pint of rainbow sherbet ice cream the previous night and closed both doors of the refrigerator. She looked around and started digging through cabinets, finally she came across a box of fruit loops and she grabbed it, examining it, ”You’ll do,” she said simply and headed back to the living room, flopping on the couch. She curled up again, putting the blanket on her, then putting the cereal box on her lap. She didn’t even bother grabbing a bowl, spoon, or adding milk, that was just too much damn work. She had to remote in her hand and she started to switch channels until she found something at least remotely interesting to watch.

Most people knew that Bails was sweet once they got to know him but first impression said he was a little shit - and to some people he was. Actually, to a lot of people, Bails was just a little shit and overall, a pain in the ass. Once you were his friend, he was the most loyal friend you ever got. He never thought twice about making his friends feel better and to be honest, he'd beat the shit out of anybody for his friends. Bailey Sterling Tyler would do anything for his friends because his friends were important to him. He didn't want to lose them because they were all so special to him for different reasons. He loved Beccah because...Well, she was Beccah. He loved Brookie because she was the female version of him. He always had his reasons for loving the people that he did and he'd do anything to protect them. He was currently trying his best to help Beccah out because she was going through a rough breakup. He didn't want her to get too depressed because he'd seen the effects of depression so many times and it broke his heart when he couldn't help those people. Suicide was prominent in today's society and every time he heard about one, he asked himself if he could've been there for that person. Bails had always had a hard time with that. He always blamed himself when people traveled the wrong road for depression - especially, if he knew them. He would not let that happen to Beccah. As of right now, Bails was at the store, trying to find something that might help Beccah see the bright side of life. He wanted her to know that he cared about her and wanted her to be happy again. He knew it'd take time to heal... Hell, he was still healing from losing his girl back in Tampa. Bails was mostly over that because he now had someone else that he liked a whole lot... Brooke Donovan. He hadn't come out and told her because he wasn't ready for it yet. He was worried that if he told her about it, his adoptive parents would move him again. He was worried about hurting her. Bails looked around and considered taking the easy route and just getting her a bottle of alcohol but decided that was too easy. He needed to find another reason to make her smile. He didn't want her to turn into an alcoholic like him. He would never admit it to anybody or himself, but he was a definite alcoholic and regularly showed up to school on a hangover. Bailey went into the jewelry and found a necklace that he was sure Beccah would like. It reminded him that though he was pretty much the devil incarnate (according to lots of people), he still loved Beccah. Not romantically but like a friend. He wouldn't mind tapping that but he couldn't think of that, not now. She was hurting and it wasn't appropriate. Bails paid the thirty dollars for the necklace and then drove over to her house, figuring she'd probably be alone tonight. It was a Friday night after all. She hadn't been throwing the regular parties and Bails was actually skipping one to come make her leave the house. Maybe if he was persuasive enough, he could get her to go to the races because he was also missing one of the most important races of the season. Missing it meant lowering his illegal street racing rank but he didn't care, not at this point. Beccah kept missing school and when she was there, she wasn't herself. It was killing him just watching her. She only talked when talked to and he wanted to see her stealing the center of attention. He wanted happy Beccah back and damn it, he was determined to bring her back out of her pit, even if it killed him. He opened the door, singing horribly, "IT'S FRIDAY, FRIDAY, EVERYBODY GOTTA GET BECCAH OUT ON FRIDAY." So what? He changed the lyrics to make her laugh. He looked over at her sad frame. She was actually losing weight and looked overall, really sick. Bails grinned and said, "I brought you a present." He tossed the necklace on her lap and continued, "It's to help you remember that you're still loved by people and it's hard watching you be so sad. Oh by the way, I'm taking you out of here, so I suggest putting real clothing on!" He grinned that dorky grin that most people loved so much. It also had a hint of mischief to it. word count ;; 781 wearing ;; CLICK !tagged ;; rebeccah walker muse ;; love me - justin bieber

The remote was put back onto the coffee table as she finally found something to watch. It was a Jersey Shore re-run, dysfunctional drunks could work as a good distraction for her, right? She grabbed a hand full of fruit loops and put them into her mouth as she watched. She had seen the first season of the show, only to make fun of them really, her and Ariel would have a girls night in and just laugh at the ridiculousness of it. Now, Rebeccah was watching to feel better about herself, seeing these lame ass guidos at their worst made her feel like she was better than someone. It was pathetic, but it was how her mind was working at the moment. She was never insecure, not even now, but she knew her life was pretty much shit and that karma was really kicking her ass right now.
She leaned over and put the cereal box on the coffee table too, getting more comfortable under her blanket. As much as she wanted to stuff her face right now, she just wanted to curl up in a ball and watch bad television more, anything to keep her mind off of everything going on in her life. Her eyebrows raised as one of the guys on the show did something ridiculous, but she was easily distracted by someone walking into the house. She perked up, but didn’t move, mostly because she was too lazy to. She frowned at the words that left the strangers mouth first and couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, it had been so random and when she realized who it was she smiled a little more. She shook her head, it was Bailey, one of her closest friends, she wasn’t expecting him but she had to admit, it was nice to laugh again. He was always good at putting a smile on her face, even when she was her angriest or nowadays, saddest.
”And what makes you think I’m actually going to leave? I don’t want to go out, Bails,” she frowned and picked up what he had just handed to her. ”I don’t want to see anyone,” she continued, it was true, she didn’t want to be around anyone, nor did she think she ever would want to again. ”And where do you think you’re taking me?” she asked, wondering what he even had in mind in the first place. She opened the small box and looked at the necklace, her smile growing a little wider as she looked up at him. ”Wow, I love it, thanks,” she said looking back at it, it really was beautiful, plus it was so something she would wear. ”I’m not sad… I’m just…” she stopped and frowned, she knew she was sad, she knew people noticed too, but she hated admitting it. ”thank you, this is sweet,” she nodded and looked at the necklace again, ”put it on me?” she asked as she handed it back to him and turned her body away from him, pushing her hair to the side so he can put it on her.

Bails was always the first one there when it came to someone who was depressed, especially if it was one of his friends. He'd seen the effects of depression and he didn't want to see that again. He didn't want to hear about suicides or anything else of that nature. Bails didn't want Beccah to feel like she was alone. He wasn't a very good friend if he didn't put her on the top of his priority list over other things. He just didn't want Beccah to be hurting so much. He knew she'd be hurting for a long time over Brandon, but he didn't want her to be hurting quite so much. Bails was trying to find a way to make Beccah forget her struggles, even if it was only for an hour... Even fifteen minutes of forgetting it would do her some tremendous amount of good. He frowned at her and replied, "I couldn't give two shits whether you want to go out, Beccah. Did I ask if you wanted to go out? No. I said we were going out. So we're going out, even if I have to carry your ass. You're not going to stay up holed in here forever, got it? You're coming out of your house today." Bails wasn't going to argue with her, at all. He was just going to get her out and get her having some kind of fun or maybe even just distracted. Bails laughed at her next words, trying to lighten up the mood. She didn't want to see anyone? She was already seeing him without protest. "Babe, you're already seeing me without protesting it. And we're not going to a party or anything. The last thing you need is people attacking you at a party. No. You and I are just going to hang out, you and I only. Nobody else is invited." That had been Bailey's plan all along. He had no intention of taking her out where people would point and whisper. She didn't need that shit right now. Bails was protecting her from hurt, not taking her to more. He just wanted her out of her house. He didn't care what they did or where they went, so long as she was out doing something. He planned on letting her drive his car because his car had enough power to keep her concentrating on control of it rather than concentrating on her breakup with Brandon. Brandon was being such a dick about the whole breakup thing too. "A drive. You're going to learn how to drive my car today and we're going to just go and go until you find something you want to do. I don't care if we go all night long, but you're going to find something interesting today, as you drive my car."Bailey Sterling Tyler wasn't kidding. He definitely wasn't kidding. He stared over at her and grinned as she opened the box. She was smiling which was a definite start. "I'm glad you like it! You're welcome. Any time, babe." He smiled that easy smile of his. Bails was one of the easiest people to get along with, next in line being Jesse. Sometimes Jesse was easier to get along with than Bails but they were both so easygoing that it was hard to tell. Bails looked over at Beccah and raised his brow as she tried to tell him she wasn't sad. Bullshit. "That's a lie right there and you know it. You are sad. Depressed even. I'm not sure but you need to do something. Beccah, you can't fall apart over a breakup. I can't watch it anymore. I can't watch you be like this anymore so I'm going to fix it god damn it." Bails positioned himself behind her and clasped the necklace on her neck after fumbling with it for a minute. He wasn't exactly experienced with small things like necklace clasps but he managed. It was on. "Looks good on you. Now, are you staying in those clothes, or are you going to change into something that you'd normally wear in public? I could care less either way, ma'am, but either way you're going out."word count ;; 703 wearing ;; CLICK !tagged ;; rebeccah walker muse ;; lone time - justin bieber

Rebeccah could hear someone arguing on the television screen, which made her turn to look for a brief second. Did she really want to stay in watching bad television and stuffing her face with an entire box of fruit loops? It was her comfort and it took her mind off of the outside world, she only left the house to go to school really. She looked at Bailey as he spoke, he really wasn’t taking no for an answer, but maybe this was the sort of push she needed to get back to her old self. She didn’t think it was possible, but she wanted to get out of this funk. How could a guy destroy someone that was so confident and overpowering? ”someone’s aggressive today, but fine, I’ll go,” she said with a light sigh, she wasn’t sure if she had it in her to do anything, but she was going to try. She could tell that he was just trying to be a good friend and be there for her, which she really needed, especially since her now ex-bestfriend was out of her life.
”touche,” she replied, he had a point, she was seeing him. She was relieved to hear that they weren’t going to a party, that was definitely the last thing she needed right now. Plus, she really didn’t want to see anyone she knew. Bailey was enough right now, plus his visit had been out of the goodness of his heart. She had never seen this side of Bailey before, sure, they were close, but she had never needed anyone like this before. ”Good, you’re all I can handle right now anyways,” she sighed a little and nibbled on her bottom lip. Some time alone with a friend couldn’t be too bad, right? Bailey always knew how to have a good time and right now, Rebeccah needed a good time, badly.
She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, ”You’re letting me drive your car? Your precious little baby,” she chuckled a little. She had to admit, she was surprised, she knew how much that car meant to him. ”How could I say no to that?” she asked rhetorically, her smile lingering on her lips a little. It quickly dissolved when he completely called her out on being depressed. She looked down and frowned, she knew he was right. She nodded, ”I know, I don’t want to be like this either… its not just the breakup, its… more.. its everything else going on in my life. I feel like life is just shitting on me right now. First Brandon, then my parents’ divorce, then stupid fucking ariel,” she groaned a little and shook her head, she didn’t want to talk about any of it. She looked up at him and nodded, she wanted to be fixed too. She hated being like this, she could barely even look in the mirror because she didn’t recognize herself. ”thanks,” it was nice to hear that someone actually cared enough to even attempt to help fix her.
She waited patiently for him to put the necklace on her, when he finished she touched the center of it and positioned it a little. She looked down at it, she really did like it. She looked at Bailey for approval and when she got it, she smiled lightly. ”I’m going, I’m going,” she said rolling her eyes playfully and standing up. She didn’t have the usual energy she usually had when she was about to get ready, but she wasn’t going out with what she was wearing. ”Give me like… I don’t know… a few minutes,” she wasn’t going to get all dolled up, she didn’t have it in her really. She was just going to throw something on and just go from there. ”Here,” she handed him the remote, ”you can watch tv while you wait and help yourself to those fruit loops,” she said before walking out of the living room and up the stairs to her bedroom.

Bails glanced at the TV when she did and frowned. She really wasn't doing so hot because the show she was watching was completely stupid. He didn't even remember the name of it but whatever it was she was watching, was a really bad show. Beccah definitely needed out of the house. She had so much shit going down that no normal person could handle it. Her parents were going through a divorce, Ariel had had sex with Brandon, and obviously, the breakup. Bails knew she needed out so he'd missed out on his important race for her. His friends always came first, and though Beccah had never needed her friends like she did now, he was here. He was loyal to his friends... And Beccah was about to find that out... She had never seen this side of him, because she had never needed to, but now she did, and he was here. She was going to be one of his priorities until she was back to normal. "Only when I need to be. Of course you're going. I knew that ahead of time because I was going to drag you out whether you wanted to go or not. I think I'm muscular enough to carry you around." He stuck his tongue out playfully. "I win... Again." He laughed, treating her normally. He wasn't going to treat her like a charity case because that wasn't the way to go about it. That was just going to make her feel inferior and, therefore, Bails was not going to be wanted. He was going to be her friend and that was going to be that. Bailey Sterling Tyler was not going to treat Beccah any different no matter what mood she was in. He was going to call her out when she was being stupid and he was going to laugh at her jokes, just like he always had. "Can't handle anybody else, huh? Well I'm glad I'm the one that you can handle. You'll have fun tonight, somehow, some way, I'm going to make sure of that. No drinking though... Not even for me. We're just gonna hang out, that okay?" He only asked because if Beccah really wanted to drink, he'd probably succumb to peer pressure and they could go party it up. It didn't seem that she was in the mood for that kind of stuff so Bails was going to just hang out, they could talk about whatever, and just have a good time. Bails shook his head and laughed. So many people thought that he would never let anybody touch the steering wheel of his car but he honestly didn't care. His adoptive parents would fix it if it got broken or they would replace it. He even had a motorcycle now that he adored. It made street racing a lot more fun because a motorcycle in a street race was dangerous as hell. "I am letting you drive my car. It should be fun for you... Just don't hurt her. She's married and her wife might just murder my ass if I have to take her to a mechanic." He grinned, teasingly. Brooke Donovan had married his car, which had been a joke but he couldn't help but call Brooke his car's wife. Brooke was the female version of him and they had a lot of good times. "You can't say no to that, ma'am." He laughed and was encouraged by a light smile. He couldn't miss little things like that and instantly felt bad when it vanished after his next words. "Life does that sometimes. Don't worry, we're gonna make life smile at your beautiful self tonight. We're going to give you a reason to be happy tonight!"Bails nodded and replied, "Hurry up!" He smiled and continued on to say, "A few seconds maybe." He stuck his tongue out playfully again. Of course, Bails was just teasing her. It was what he always did to help people that were depressed. He didn't keep bringing up the sadness or anything. In fact, he did not bring it up unless they did. He just spent his time making them smile and have a good time. He laughed again when she offered him the fruit loops and the remote. "I'll take the TV but I'll survive without fruit loops. That's woman food." Bails knew that wasn't true but he was just giving her shit again. Giving people shit was Bailey's specialty. He turned the channel to CSI: Miami as he watched her disappear up the stairs. He hoped she hurried her ass up. He didn't want to spend forever watching TV. He wanted to go have fun. word count ;; 785 wearing ;; CLICK !tagged ;; rebeccah walker muse ;; glad you came - the wanted

Rebeccah smiled a little to herself, it was nice to have someone care enough to get you to get out of the house, even if they had to carry you. She knew she needed out and she needed it as soon as possible, she felt so cooped up and out of the loop from the outside world for too long. She was just about to graduate high school and here she was moping around? That didn’t sound like the Beccah everyone loved to hate and she didn’t want to be remembered as the depressing popular girl that finally got what she probably deserved. She knew what she had to do to get her life back; it just wasn’t easy when things were happening left and right. She thought she was stronger than this, but she seemed to have mistaken that, or so it felt.
Rebeccah nodded, ”that’s fine with me,” she was a little surprised when he said no drinking, mostly because she knew the boy loved to drink. ”I don’t think I’ll be much fun drunk anyways,” she said with a light shrug, she had drank a few times while in this state and it wasn’t pretty. One should never drink when they were depressed, that just ended badly and turned you into the emotional drunk. ”just hang out,” she nodded in agreement, showing that she was completely fine with it. She was in dire need of a hang out with a good friend, a good normal hang out. She had to admit, she was quite excited to be able to drive his car, it was a nice one, and she knew he raced it, so it had to have quite the speed on it. She rose a brow a bit when he said his car was married, but she chose not to press on the subject and nodded, ”I won’t hurt her, I’m an excellent driver,” she said as a matter-of-factly.
She lightly laughed at his enthusiasm, realizing that no matter how much she didn’t feel like smiling, he was going to get quite the few smiles out of her tonight. ”Okay, okay,” she said as rolled her eyes at his fruit loops comment and ran upstairs. She walked into her bedroom and went to her closet, she had a lot of designer clothes, but she wasn’t feeling as glamorous or in the mood to wear those things. She had her fair share of casual clothes, just for days like these or whenever she was just too lazy to get dolled up. She grabbed a few things and got dressed, going into the restroom to put any other necessities on. She had no real patience or energy to put makeup on, but she looked to see how she looked anyways. She sighed a little at her reflection, she could see the pain in her eyes and she hated it. Her lack of sleep was showing a little and she didn’t like it, so she put on a little makeup, along with a tad bit of eyeliner.
She walked back to her bedroom, slipped on her boots and sprayed herself with a splash of her perfume. She was comfortable in her clothes, plus she wouldn’t be cold if they were out too late. She grabbed her cell phone, keys, and wallet and headed back downstairs. When she got to living room, she looked at Bailey, ”Alright, let’s see you work your magic,” she said announcing that she was ready to go. She looked to the television to see what he was watching and didn’t recognize the show, she assumed it was Law and Order or that Criminal Minds show. She grabbed the box of fruit loops, ”can the fruit loops come?” she asked, but jokingly. ”kidding,” she replied, at least her sense of humor was still around, she closed the box properly and walked into the kitchen to put them away. She met Bailey back at the front door and opened it, letting him exit first so she can lock up.
