Dean was beyond pissed. As he walked into school, all he saw was red. He had never been this mad before at anybody, let alone his best friend, Brady Richardson. Still, he couldn't help it this time and no matter what he told himself, the anger would not disappear. In fact, every time he tried to bury the anger, it seemed like he just got madder and madder. As he walked down the hallway, he was on a mission to track down his best friend and he wasn't going to stop until he found and confronted him. He wasn't sure how this confrontation would end, but at this moment, he didn't really care.
Last night Zoey Richardson had called him in tears. It was the first time he had ever heard her so broken before in his life. It had devastated him. When she had told him what her brother had said to her, that is when his anger had started. He had spent nearly three hours on the phone with her, comforting her, making sure that she was okay. When he had woken up this morning, hoping the anger he felt last night would be gone, he realized that it had only gotten worse. How could Brady so those things to Zoey?
He walked through the school, barely acknowledging the people that said 'hi' to him. He made his way quickly to the locker he knew was Brady's and was relieved when he saw him standing at it, getting books out. He stopped walking as he watched his friend for a moment. He was unsure of what to do now that the moment was here to confront Brady. There was so many things going through his head and he wasn't sure which one to act on.
Once he saw Brady shut his locker door and turn to walk away, his choice was made for him. Without a further thought in his head, he began to walk towards his friend again. There was no hesitation in his actions as he finally reached Brady and pushed him back against the lockers, nothing but ice in his eyes. "Where the fuck do you get off, Brady? Talking to Zoey like that?" His voice was laced with anger as he stared his friend down. Outfit: HereWORDS: 386 Tag: B-Rad Notes: I am so sad for this thread

Brady Elliot Richardson was angry at himself. He felt so lost and out of control. He wanted to scream for help but he was terrified. He was scared of what his friends would think of him. Brady didn't want his friends to ditch him. He'd basically already lost his sister and he'd been hiding from Nate. He was doing his best to avoid Nate at all costs just in case Zoey had run straight to him. He just knew that he'd successfully made his sister practically hate him and he felt even more lost without her. He wasn't sure what had possessed him to be so cruel to her, but he had been, and now she couldn't even make eye contact with him... Which was fine, because he couldn't make eye contact with her either. He couldn't even look at her without wanting to fall apart and just cry. Brady felt god awful for doing that to her, for destroying her like that, but he didn't have the balls to apologize. Not yet anyways. He didn't know what to do.
He was confused and angry. He just didn't want to lose anybody else but knowing his friends, they'd stick up for Zoey because Brady had been the complete dick, which meant he was going to lose them too. Everything in Brady's world was falling apart. He didn't know how to repair his life. He didn't know how to walk back to the right path. He didn't know how to heal from the drug addiction. He already relied on them so much. Even now, the aching feeling of not having heroin in his system was irritating. Brady's brain yearned for the Heroin high. It was begging him to get some Heroin, which was only making him more irritable. He wanted to throw something, or hit something, in his frustration. How had he gotten so deep into this shit? How had it come to this? What had Edward Desdemona done to him? How had he become so violent when before, he was so gentle and loving? He could feel the frustration in his system building. God damn it.
Brady saw his sister walk by him. He looked at her for just a moment, seeing the damage in just the very way she walked. She looked so hurt and he wanted to fall apart. He slid down his locker and put his arms on his knees and laid his head down to rest. He couldn't handle it. He couldn't deal with the pain. It was just getting worse. He was more and more sad by the day and now he didn't even have Zoey's smiling face to make him keep going. What now? What did he have left? What did he have to keep himself struggling forward? Brady had no reason to stay strong anymore. He was destroying relationships with everybody. He was so messed up that he had emotionally destroyed his sister. She hadn't smiled since he'd yelled at her. He couldn't even remember how long ago that was. It felt like he'd just walked away from the fight. Brady was so emotionally strained. He could remember the fight like he'd just walked away from it but he didn't know how to apologize. There was no way to make it up to her.
Brady got up and started to get books out of his locker. He slammed his locker shut, angry at himself still. He shoved his books in his backpack and swung his backpack aggressively over his shoulder. Brady wasn't even sure why he'd bothered to get his books. He wasn't going to work on his school work today. He wasn't going to pay attention and he was probably going to ditch most of the day. He just didn't give a fuck anymore. He'd run out of reasons to even begin to care about anything. Zoey had support. His parents didn't need him. His friends had each other. They'd hold up just fine without him, right? Maybe it was time to leave. Suddenly he felt himself shoved against the lockers, and saw Dean's look. He saw the malice in his eyes but it wasn't enough to rouse him, just yet. The words that he spoke was enough to stir Brady's anger. Not because the words were cruel but because Brady was a generally angry person now. The Heroin addiction had done it to him. He spoke through his teeth, "It's none of your damn business. My sister, not yours. Keep your fucking nose where it belongs."

The minute that Dean had slammed Brady up against the lockers he had heard the hallway go completely silent and knew that everyone was watching them. It wasn't too often they saw people that had been best friends, almost like brothers really, act like this in front of them. He could start to hear whispers making their way through the crowd about what was happening, but he tried to block them out at the moment.
He didn't really care who was watching at this moment. This wasn't about them. This was him, trying to get answers from Brady. Sure Brady was one of his best friends, but so was Zoey. He couldn't let Brady disrespect her like that. It wasn't right and someone needed to get to the bottom of it.
Dean was a little shocked by the way that Brady spoke to him. Never in his life had Brady ever spoken to him like that. Not even when they had their stupid little fights growing up. Usually he would get mad at him for a few minutes, then all would be forgiven and they would move on. This was something different. This wasn't the same Brady that Dean had grown up with, that much was obvious just by looking at him. Still, he wasn't going to let this go. He shook his head at Brady. "You're wrong, Brady," He started, "This is my business. Zoey might be your sister, but she is also one of my best friends. I have known her practically as long as I have known you. So, let me repeat, where do you get off talking to her like that? I mean, she is your sister after all, as you pointed out, and you never treat your family like that, ever. So what gives?" The smack against the locker had given Brady a new outlook at Dean's strength. Sure, they'd wrestled around and once Brady had even earned a black eye but he'd never seen Dean this mad. He'd never felt Dean's angry strength, and to be honest, it was a little terrifying. It was weird to be fighting with Dean considering they were practically brothers. It wasn't every day they fought, not like this. They'd never fought like this and Brady didn't really know if he could hold his own against Dean. Dean was athletic and Brady wasn't really. Brady was more into singing and dancing. That was his gig. Dean was the one that played every sport under the sun. Even Tommy was more athletic than Brady. Brady looked around, not daring to look into Dean's eyes at this moment. People were staring. Whispers were going through the crowd. Nobody knew what was going on but everybody was now curious as to why Brady Elliot Richardson and Dean James Torres, best friends, were fighting so angrily. Were they fighting over a girl? Yes, but not like that. They were fighting over Brady's little sister, Zoey. They weren't fighting over girlfriends. They were fighting over something serious.
He could see slight intimidation course through the crowd as well. Dean was never mad, much less this mad. Dean rarely even got annoyed so it was hard to make him this mad. Brady had done it, and that was the last thing anybody expected, least of all Brady. He'd never expected to be slammed against anything by Dean and he never expected to be talking to his bestest friend ever like this. He never expected it and if you'd told him two weeks ago that this is what the two of them would be doing, he would've called bullshit. Here they were, in front of a crowd, and Brady was getting yelled at. He couldn't find it in him to care. Testosterone was coursing through his system and he viewed this as a challenge. Brady wasn't naturally dominant...Except he wasn't exactly his normal old self. He was addicted to drugs. He had changed a lot and nobody could figure out why. Nobody except Nate had dared ask but now Dean was daring. Brady had seriously offended him through his sister, and now Dean was demanding answers. Brady was determined to give him nothing. Dean didn't need to know that Brady was addicted to Heroin, Cocaine, and Marijuana, mostly Heroin though.
Brady felt icy anger come up. It wasn't hot anger that had gotten him with Zoey. Icicles came up in a glare as he stared at Dean. Dean was trying to get to the bottom of this and Brady wasn't down with that idea. He stared right into Dean's eyes, determined to give him no answers. Dean wasn't going to get anything out of Brady today, or ever. He doubted their relationship would last because of it, but it was better anyways. Brady didn't matter. They didn't really need him. His parents hated him. His sister wouldn't even look at him now. Dean was trying to kill him. Nate would be trying to kill him and of course, Tommy and Jax would take everybody else's side. Brady had no one left so now he could say whatever the hell he wanted without bothering about who it would offend. "It doesn't fucking matter, all right? It doesn't matter why I did it. Nothing matters anymore Dean. Don't you get it? It doesn't fucking matter. She was pissing me off so I yelled at her. She deserved what she got." Brady had just given another low blow towards Zoey but he didn't care. He just didn't give two shits anymore.

Dean continued to stare his best friend down, daggers still in his eyes as the crowd around them seemed to grow and the whispers around them got louder. He watched as Brady turned away from him in order to avoid his gaze and he couldn't help but feel a little triumphant at this. It meant that Brady felt at least a little intimidated by him and Dean couldn't say he was surprised. He was bigger than Brady and played almost every sport there was. He could hold his own, that much was certain.
However, given the fact that Dean never got mad, let alone this mad at anyone, was a shock to everyone and made him look even more intimidating. In fact, from what he could hear from the crowd, that was were some of their own thinking was at too.
At Brady's first words however, he pulled back slightly from his best friend and his gaze softened but only slightly. Nothing mattered anymore? Where was this coming from? This wasn't the same guy that he had grown up with, who always looked on the bright side of everything. What was going on? Now he was more confused then ever about what was wrong with his best friend.
Still when Brady's second set of words hit his ears, Dean's anger again began to rise and his eyes again darkened with anger. "Zoey deserved what she got, huh?" Dean practically yelled at Brady. "Just like you deserve this?" With that he brought his fist back and punched Brady square in the face. The only thoughts going through his mind being the fact that this was possibly the end of his friendship with Brady and that this was his first ever actual fight. Brady was sick of it. He was sick of arguments. He was sick of the tugging for Heroin that the addiction caused. He could feel a headache and chills coming on because he didn't have the Heroin. He needed to get it in his system soon or he was going to get really angry for no reason. Brady had tested that out and found that it was very bad if he got very angry. Luckily he'd been alone when he'd tested it but his phone hadn't survived the incident and neither had Rex from Toy Story. Rex had been torn apart in his anger. He could feel the frustration of not having the drugs in his system but having them right there in his backpack. Unfortunately, Dean was holding him against the locker. Brady didn't even want to mess with him but he couldn't help it. The addiction had made him dominant. The addiction didn't appreciate the challenge and wanted to rise up against it. To the real Brady, it was just another part of a movie. The fight with Zoey had been a movie and he'd been as powerless as an actual movie to stop what was going on. The drugs controlled him and the drugs apparently didn't like anybody but Eddie and Eddie's drug dealer. It was understandable but Brady wasn't happy about losing his friends. It looked like he had no choice because he couldn't give up the drugs.
Brady felt Dean pull back slightly which made him lunge. The drugs found that extremely encouraging. He lunged for Dean's face but didn't end up making it. Brady was shoved back against the locker and again, Brady was intimidated by Dean's strength. The drugs just took Dean's brute strength as another challenge. Which meant Brady was going to end up fighting with his best friend if it kept going down this route. They were both just getting angrier and angrier at each other. Brady just wanted to break down and cry. He didn't want to fight with Dean. He wanted to tell the furious five everything. He wanted to tell them what shit had gone down. He wanted to explain why he was so angry and irritable. He wanted to get help from his best friends but he was a coward. Brady couldn't bring himself to do it. He didn't want the judging looks and he didn't want his friends to leave him behind because he was s a drug user. He didn't want to see them look at him like a charity case. He just wanted to be Brady Elliot Richardson to them, even if Brady was now a cruel bastard. He didn't want to be the friend that needed help because he was on drugs. "Yeah, she fucking deserved it! She always has deserved it."
Brady saw Dean's fist come up and he wanted more than anything to duck but he got punched square in the face. He felt his nose crack and he tasted blood in his mouth. Yeah, he probably wasn't going to talk to Dean ever again... The blood in his mouth made him want to throw up. Instead, he just sunk to the ground, waiting for the pounding headache and momentarily blindness leave him. As soon as he could see again, he stood up and stared at Dean. His fist flashed out and he punched Dean square in the stomach. He wasn't going to break Dean physically. Brady had other ideas. He was going to attempt to break him emotionally. He was going to sever the ties they had so permanently that Dean would never bother Brady again. It'd be a silent hate because that's how they both rolled but they wouldn't have to talk. Brady wouldn't have to deal with Dean getting in his business. In fact, he'd be able to take his drugs freely as soon as he severed ties with the furious five. It'd be great. "I hate you. I hate you. Don't come near me ever again. Not after this. You're downright evil and I don't want to ever talk. I don't want you anywhere near me again. Not ever. Stay away from my house, myself, and my family. I'm going to pretend that you never existed." He spat on the floor right in front of Dean, challenging him to punch him again. He took his backpack off, letting it sit on the floor so he had maximum movement. He knew it wasn't a fight he would win. He heard an 'ooooo' go through the crowd but he couldn't care less.
Brady was going to fight with his best friend.

Dean couldn't help at his anger grew when Brady said that Zoey deserved what she had got. How could Brady even say those things about his sister? They had always been so close and never before had Brady ever talked like this before, especially about Zoey. As his fist made contact with Brady's face though, he couldn't help but feel a little satisfied. As much as he hated fighting with his best friend, part of him couldn't help but think that this is what Brady deserved.
After Brady sunk to the ground, he heard the whispers around them began to grow. Most people probably thought that the fight was over and they would let by gones be by gones and would be friends again tomorrow. He knew different though. This fight was far from over and their friendship was pretty much over from the moment that Dean confronted Brady. At this thought, Dean couldn't help but feel a little sad. Brady was like his brother and to know that they might not be friends anymore devastated him.
When he felt Brady's fist connect with his stomach, he was a little taken aback as the air left his lungs. It wasn't the first time this happened, considering he played sports, but the fact that it was at the hand of his best friend though, seemed to make it worse. He shook his head lightly at he looked at Brady. "Hate me all you want, Brady. I don't care anymore. I have spent too many years of my life bailing you out of trouble with your parents. And you know what? I am sick of it. I have put up with it for far too long. But you crossed the line when you insulted Zoey. She didn't deserve that. She was only looking out for you. Just like all of us where." He paused as he looked at Brady for a moment. "But if you are too dense to see that, then this friendship should have ended a long time ago. And you can't keep me from seeing Zoey. She is still my friend. Unlike you."
He made a disgusted face when Brady spat in front of him and watched him remove his backpack. Truth be told, Dean didn't want to hurt Brady anymore. As much as he knew the friendship between them was over, he still did care about him. Outfit: HereWORDS: 404 Tag: B-Rad Notes: Tis very sad.

Brady knew his nose was broken. Dean had definitely broken it. They were definitely going to get in all kinds of trouble but Brady could care less. He wanted Dean to get a little bit of pain in return. He doubted he could do much harm to the other boy but he didn't care. He wanted to get his agitation and frustration out and fighting seemed to be the best way to do it. Brady's teeth ground together as he stood and stared at Dean with icy eyes. His brain was telling him to find a weapon to give himself an advantage. He had nothing though. The drugs were telling him to lunge for Dean's throat so he could choke the kid. Brady shook his head, conflicted. He couldn't tell the difference between drugs and real Brady thoughts anymore. He leaned against the locker, trying to figure out what were his thoughts and what thoughts belonged to the drugs. The thinking gave him a headache and the headache fueled more frustration and anger. His green eyes flashed to his former best friend's eyes. He stared in those eyes, trying to find anything other than malice. He was trying to find a reason to not hate Dean anymore.
Brady, for a moment, saw a flicker of something other than hate in Dean's emotions but then it disappeared as soon as the whispers started. Brady screamed at the crowd, "SHUT THE FUCK UP! FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO. GO FUCK YOURSELVES." It was raw rage and as he returned his attention to Dean, Dean was talking. He was saying some nasty things and Brady felt a stab to his chest with each word. It felt like Dean was slicing his heart up into little itty bitty pieces and then crushing it into pieces. "Looking out for me, were you? Huh. That's fucking hilarious. If you guys were really my fucking friends, especially you, you would've known. You would've known what the hell was going on. Were you ever really a friend at all? I'm thinking you weren't. What happened between me and Zoey is none of your fucking business. That's mine and Zoey's business. Get your nose the hell out of it and STOP BRINGING THAT SHIT UP."
Brady was in tears. He was still in a rage but he was crying. "Did you ever stop and think that I felt fucking bad enough about it? Huh? DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT THAT?" Brady's fists clenched into tight balls. Dean thought he was going to hang out with Zoey did he? Hell no. Dean was leaving the Richardson's lives. The Torres family wasn't going to be a part of the Richardson family anymore. Roxy wasn't allowed, the Torres parents were welcome, and Dean... Brady would chase the kid away if it killed him. Brady Elliot Richardson wanted nothing to do with them and he sure as hell wasn't letting Zoey have anything to do with them. "You fucking stay the hell away from my sister. She's scared enough of me already, I can tell her not to talk to you and she'll listen. She'll hate me for it but she won't dare disobey me. She won't talk to you if I demand it Dean. And you know it's fucking true." Brady was in the calm mood now, but it was the scary calm. It was the calm with the look that said 'I'm going to rip you apart'. It was the calm that was scarier than the raw rage. His stare was calm and his eyes were right on Dean's. He glanced back at his backpack to make sure his drugs were safe and then he lunged for Dean's throat, wanting to choke him. word count ;; 625 tagged ;; dean torres wearing ;; so much black !muse ;; a warrior's call - volbeat notes ;; are they ever going to get along? Dean looked at the crowd as Brady spoke to them, knowing that they weren't going anywhere. They would stay here until this whole thing played out. A part of him wondered if this had taken place away from a crowd if it would have gotten to this point. The way that Brady was acting though, he knew it probably would have ended the same way. Even as the words had tumbled out of his mouth, he knew he would have given anything to take them back. He knew that they weren't true and as he saw their effect on Brady, he felt his insides break.
As Brady spoke, Dean couldn't help but feel worse, especially as he watched the tears run down Brady's face. He was right though. Over the last few weeks he hadn't been a very good friend to Brady. He could see that something had been wrong, but never really pushed for answers. He just took Brady at his word. What kind of friend did that make him? "You're right. I haven't been a good friend," He said. He could feel tears build in his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. He wasn't going to give Brady, or anyone else, the satisfaction of seeing him cry. "I'm sorry that I took you at your word and refused to see that something else was going on. I'm sorry that I tried to keep you out of trouble. And you know what? I'm sorry that I tried to be your friend for so long." He looked at Brady for a minute and shook his head slightly. "And no. I didn't think about how it fucking mad you feel. Because if it made you feel anything at all, you would have apologized."
Dean shook his head at Brady's next statement about keeping Zoey away from him, knowing that it could happen and scared for the day that it did. He watched as Brady looked at his backpack before he lunged toward Dean. Dean, having played so much sports, moved out of the way easily and then pushed Brady up against the wall. "So that's it, huh? You care so much about your sister that you would fucking threaten her to keep her away from me. In what world are you living in where they makes any sense? The way I see it, she has more to be afraid with from you then from me. I would never hurt Zoey or treat her the way that you have been." Outfit: HereWORDS: 424 Tag: B-Rad Notes: Tis very sad.

Brady's throat went hoarse, screaming at the crowd. There was no rage left. It was just desperation. It was raw pain and they all just stared at him with confused looks on their faces. He couldn't deal with it. He shoved at one member of the crowd and a couple backed up a few steps but not one person walked away. Brady looked into all their faces and whispered, but only Dean would be able to hear the question, even though it wasn't directed at Dean. "Why won't you leave?"
He was falling apart at the seams. A few people were laughing but he just didn't care anymore. He couldn't care less about anyone or anything anymore. There was nothing left. Nothing mattered. His friends had been the only reason he'd bothered. He glanced at his backpack again. He knew he was drawing attention to it but he had to make sure the drugs were safe. Brady leaned against the locker, in full blown tears. He just didn't care anymore. Dean could break every bone in his body, and it wouldn't rouse the anger. The fury that he'd had just seconds ago was gone. It was gone and he doubted it would come back. He was broken. Brady Elliot Richardson had lied to his friends. He'd made sure they didn't know what was going on, because if he was caught, he didn't want them involved. He didn't want them getting in trouble for hiding him, so he hid from them. It was a hard choice but in the end, the drugs apparently mattered more to Brady than his own friends. He wasn't proud of it. He stared at the floor as Dean spoke, each word stabbing at him again. Each word that Dean spoke broke his heart over and over again. Each sentence cut through his emotional seams. He was lost. He didn't even know what to say to that. "You've got nothing to be sorry for. The only sorry you should have is that you bothered to my friend at all. I shouldn't have bothered you. I'm going to leave your life now. I'm going to pretend you never existed." Brady was loose. He felt pain and that was it. He could feel the depression swallowing him whole. Nothing else mattered. He'd severed all his ties. His eyebrows furrowed, confused as to what Dean was saying. The words sounded garbled and he could barely understand what was being said. "That's bullshit. It made me feel like there was no way to apologize. There's no way to do it. I can't erase that. She'll always be afraid of me Dean. So I'm not even going to try. Fuck that."Brady was shoved up against a wall. He didn't even bother to struggle. It wasn't worth it with Dean. Dean was yelling in his face and was totally against Zoey leaving his life. Zoey would be too but Dean couldn't erase Brady without erasing Zoey too and Brady couldn't erase Dean if Zoey was hanging around him. If they were going to erase each other, it had to be complete. He spoke slowly and lowly, "You can't erase me if you've got Zoey hanging around you and I can't erase you if Zoey's still hanging around you. It's gotta be that way. You're not welcome at my house anymore and I don't wanna have to hear about what a great fucking time Zoey had at your house. So you have to erase Zoey too. That's how it has to be Dean." Brady pushed against Dean lightly and went to his backpack, pulling out his heroin, cocaine, and marijuana. He threw all the drugs at Dean's feet. "There's your answer by the way." Brady zipped his backpack up and slung it over his shoulder, and turned away from Dean, keeping his attention at the locker. Maybe now he could get help... Or maybe Dean would just hate him more. He sunk to the floor with his back resting against the locker. He hugged his knees to his chest and buried his face in his arms. Then he sobbed. word count ;; 688 tagged ;; dean torres wearing ;; so much black !muse ;; here comes goodbye - rascal flatts notes ;; ouch. When Brady spoke again, Dean couldn't help but be taken slightly aback by the change in his friend. He could hear the desperation and pain that was in his voice and it tore him up inside. He had never heard him sound so lost before. As he saw Brady break down completely, his heart broke. To see his friend broken, caused by his hand, ate away at him and he allowed a few tears to slip from his eyes. All the fight and anger he once felt slowly dissolving.
He shook his head at Brady's words as he took a few steps to his friend. "No. I will never be sorry for being your friend," He told him. It was true. No matter what he had just said, Dean would always remember his friendship with Brady fondly. It was his whole childhood and he had loved every minute of it. All of his best memories involved him and Brady doing something fun and exciting. Again, he had to shake his head at his words. "There is always a way to apologize. And it's Zoey, she loves you, Brady. It might take her time, but if you just apologize, she will forgive you. She looks up to you. You are her big brother."
"I never said that I wanted to erase you, Brady," He said and then sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. "We have been best friends for sixteen years. No matter how hard you try to push me away, you can't erase that. It's not that easy." He watched as Brady walked to his backpack and pulled out the drugs, taking a step back when he threw them at his feet. His eyes widened momentarily as he looked from the drugs up to Brady, still in disbelief at what he was seeing. Had it really gotten this bad for Brady? Why hadn't he noticed early? Was he really that bad of a friend not to notice?
He watched as Brady slumped to the floor and began to sob. After a moment's hesitation, he walked over to him and knelt next to him. "God, Brady, I am so sorry. I had no idea. I-I'm sorry." He really had no idea what to say to him. All he knew was that he had to be there for his friend. He reached up and ran a hand over his face before returning his eyes back to Brady. "We can get you help, Brady. Zoey, me, Jax, Tommy, and Nate. We will get you help." Outfit: HereWORDS: 430 Tag: B-Rad Notes: Tis very sad.

Brady didn't think he mattered. All the people were just standing around and watching him fall apart. Some laughed, and some just had their mouths open like complete idiots. Brady wanted them to walk away and continue on with their business. The show was over now and it was time for them to leave his presence, but of course, they weren't going to. They were going to stick around and find out what happened so that they could gossip later and spread the story. He just couldn't wait to see what the gossip blog had to say about this. He was pretty sure it would turn up there at some point. It didn't matter anyways. He wasn't going to be here to see it. Brady had stopped caring about everything that there was to care about on this Earth. Mr. Richardson looked at Dean and saw a few tears slip and he felt guilty. What was he doing to his best friend? Why had he been so nasty about it? Why couldn't he have just asked for help? Because he was a complete dumbass. Now he was in a position to lose his best friend over something stupid. His control over his own life was gone.
Brady saw Dean shake his head and he frowned. No, Dean was supposed to not want to ever be his friend, or remember being his friend. Brady wanted to erase Dean from his life and Dean needed to want that too to make it easier. He couldn't deal with remembering his best friend if their relationship was destroyed so he was going to erase Dean. He was going to put an imaginary friend in Dean's place and he was going to let Dean be nothing but a stranger. He'd heard of people being able to do that. Maybe he could. "You should be. I've messed up and there's nothing I can do to fix it."
His voice broke on the word 'fix'. How was he ever going to fix anything with anybody? He had messed up so completely that he saw no solutions. He looked at Dean and replied, "She may forgive me but she'll always be afraid of me. She'll always wonder if I'm going to attack her again. It'll always be a thought in the back of her mind." They both knew that was true. There was no way for Brady to repair that damage. "I have to erase you if we're not going to hang around each other Dean. I can't have the memories killing me every time I see you. I have to view you a stranger now. I can't deal with ex best friend right now." Brady watched Dean's reaction to the drugs and as soon as Dean stepped back, Brady automatically assumed that Dean was just going to turn a blind eye, and leave. He buried his face. He couldn't deal with that. Even Dean wasn't going to be there for him. Brady was on his own and that's what hurt the most. He was going to be on his own for this battle. Well maybe Brady wasn't going to struggle forward. Maybe he was sick of staying strong. Maybe it was time to give up. Suddenly he heard Dean talking in a soft tone and he looked up to see Dean kneeling in front of him. "It's not your fault. I purposely hid them from you so you wouldn't get arrested with me if I was caught with them. I was protecting you guys..." That's all Brady had been doing... That and he didn't want to be judged by his four best friends for getting into the drug scene. Brady was terrified. His parents were going to have to be told which meant another fight in the near future. He had to tell Zoey that he hadn't been strong enough to stay away from the drugs. He had to deal with Nate and he had to see the disappointment in Jax's and Tommy's eyes. He had to go through rehab and most of all, he was sure they were going to take away his drugs and he didn't know whether his body could take that cancellation. Brady's body depended so heavily on those drugs that he didn't know whether it could deal with having the drugs taken completely out. "Dean. I'm so scared. What are my parents going to say? What is Nateface gonna say? What's Zoey going to say? How are Jackson and Tommy going to react? I'm scared. I'm so, so, so scared." He was rocking and shaking. Dean watched Brady for a minute and shook his head again. "See that is where you are wrong, Brady. You can always fix things," He said as he walked a little closer to him. "We have been friends for far too long and been through so much. That has to count for something." He sighed gently when Brady mentioned the fact that Zoey would always be a little afraid of her own brother. He knew that he was right. After a few moments, he gave a small nod. "That might be true, but you can at least help her to look past that. You can make sure that she never thinks about that. She loves you, Brady."
"No matter how much you try, Brady, we can never be strangers. Not completely. And you know that as well as I do," He said as he looked at his best friend. He couldn't help but feel even worse at the mention that Brady wanted to forget about him and the fact that he know considered him an ex best friend. He really didn't want to give up Brady as a friend. He couldn't help but smile lightly when Brady said that he was trying to protect the guys. He shook his head lightly. "I love you, Brady. I do. But sometimes you are so stupid. You should have come to us sooner. We could have helped you before you got in this deep. We care about you."
As Dean watched Brady break down in front of him, he couldn't do anything but wrap his arms around his friend. "Shhh, Brady. It is okay. I promise that we will all stick by your side through all of it. With your parents, whatever treatment you need, everything," He said before he paused for a moment. "So just breath. Everything will be okay. I promise you that. Your friends are going to stick by your side no matter what." Outfit: HereWORDS: too lazy Tag: B-Rad Notes: Tis very sad.

Brady didn't agree with Dean in the least. There were some things you couldn't take back and some things that you couldn't repair. He believed that was the case with Zoey. He could probably fix things with his best friends but he didn't know whether he could fix things with Zoey. He doubted it. Brady never wanted to see the fear in her eyes like that again. He didn't want to see her flinch every time he rose his voice. He didn't know if he could handle it. He knew the boys would take care of her from now on. He wouldn't be able to. He'd destroyed his relationship with her. "Not always Dean. You can't always fix things. You didn't hear what I said to her. You didn't see the fear in her eyes. You didn't see it Dean. I threw our relationship away. I don't think it can come back." Brady believed this with all his heart. He'd seen the fear in Zoey's eyes. He'd seen the pain he'd caused. It was something that would go away easily if it ever did.
Brady frowned at Dean. He knew that Dean was right but he didn't want him to be. He didn't want Dean to be right like he always was. He replied softly, "But I can try to make it so." He was trying to get Dean to just give up on him so that he could give up on himself. He just wanted to be free. Brady was addicted to drugs and he was scared of the detox. He was shaky right now from not having them in his system. The addiction was tugging at him even now. It was tugging at him, telling him he needed the drug, telling him he needed it right this second. He'd just given it to his system yesterday. He'd just gotten heroin in his body last night and his body felt like he'd gone days without it. "I didn't want you to stop me at first. I wanted to be a rebel to my parents. I felt awesome when I got high on marijuana. Then Eddie gave me that heroin shit and I got hooked on that after my first time. I was addicted after putting it into my system once... I didn't want to get you in trouble... I'm not always the smartest tool in the shed. I'm sorry."
Brady felt arms wrap around him and he knew they were Dean's. He felt more loved and more accepted than he had ever felt before. Some of the people were walking away, realizing this wasn't going to turn to hate like they'd thought. It was turning into an emotional moment and that only interested a select few. Some stayed but Brady just didn't care anymore. "I don't want to go to a rehab center. I don't wanna go. I don't want to tell my parents that I'm hooked on drugs just because I wanted to defy them. I don't want to tell Jackson, Nate, or Tommy what I've done. Mostly I'm scared because I don't want to quit. I'm terrified of the detox. Even now, I just want to put some of that bullshit in my system and get high." More tears spilled out. Brady didn't think he could do it. He was just so scared.
