Diana sighed as she walked down the hallway of the school and into the library. This was probably the first time that she had ever stepped into this room and she wasn't happy about it. Still, with finals right around the corner, she needed to. Apparently she wasn't doing well in her English class. Granted she wasn't doing that bad either. The last time that she checked a "C" was a pretty decent grade to be getting. Why did her teacher have to worry about her?
She sighed again as she looked around. There were a few people here, but not that many. Her eyes quickly scanned them and she sighed again when she didn't see her tutor, Jesse. To say that Diana was a little mad about having a tutor was an understatement. She just didn't see the need for one. There were plenty of kids in her English class that were doing worse then her. She had potential though, according to her teacher and he wouldn't settle for anything than the best from her. But did she really have to give up her free time to study?
Diana wasn't one to just sit at home and study. It wasn't in her DNA. She needed to go out and do stuff. She had parties to attend, shopping to do, and people to order around. She had a life. Studying wasn't even on her radar. Who cares if her grades weren't all "A's" she was still passing and that is all that really mattered in the end.
With on last sigh she stepped fully into the library and walked to an open table, setting her backpack down before she pulled out her notebook and pen. She tapped it lightly on the table as she waited, unsure of what exactly to do while she waited for Jesse. WORDS: 310 OUTFIT: HERETAG: Jesse NOTES: N/A

Jesse wasn't fond of school but not because he struggled. In fact, it was just the opposite. Jesse hated school because it was way too easy. He knew he was a genius, and no, he wasn't conceited. It was a fair fact. His IQ was just that high. His brother, Bailey Tyler, was the same way. It kind of ran in the family which was good, he assumed. Jesse just didn't like being a genius because everything came way too easy for him. He didn't have to try in order to do well. In fact, he didn't have to even pay attention to the teacher and whenever the teacher asked him a question, he always had the answer. He never had to focus, he never had to work hard on his stuff. It just came naturally to him. A lot of sports were that way too. Basketball was Jesse's favorite and he was quickly rising up to star player. His brother was on the team too and the two were so competitive that they were always trying to outdo each other. Bailey, so far, was the best player in Jesse's opinion, but Jesse and Bailey were unstoppable when they worked together, which was every game. Jesse and him were constantly showing off, to land the girls, obviously. Jesse had even once thrown the basketball backwards, not even looking at the net, IN A GAME, and it had gone right in. Granted, the coach got really mad for taking such a chance, but Jesse had gotten laid and he'd thought it was pretty awesome that he hadn't missed. Jesse liked Velocity so far, especially since he'd found his brother here. They were like two peas in a pod and though they had their arguments and disagreements, they were always on good terms. They didn't hate each other...Mostly because they both shared hatred from their parents. They had to stick together to make it in the world, today. Jesse Patrick Tyler was a genius, but that didn't mean he always had good grades, mainly because he was a partier. He liked to get drunk and get laid. He was one of those clutzy drunks. Jesse fell over and slurred his words together when he was drunk, but he always had a good time. Now though, he was getting all A's because... Well, he felt like proving he was smart. Because he was a "jock" and a "partier", people assumed that he was stupid or something. A lot of people talked down to him and he liked to throw big words out there to see the looks on their faces. Jesse hated when people put stereotypes on others. Just because he played basketball, and was good at it, didn't mean he was an idiot. He knew what he was doing. Because he'd been proving he was as smart as he actually was, his English teacher had asked him to tutor a girl in his English class, Diana Paige O'Ryan... The girl next in line to become head bitch, after Rebeccah Walker was gone. Jesse did not use the term head bitch in a mean way, because he figured he'd like Beccah... Bails was friends with her after all. Jesse grabbed his stuff and headed to the library, stopping at his locker for his English stuff and putting other things away. He took his time, not really wanting to spend time tutoring Diana O'Ryan. From afar, she seemed like a bitch. He'd heard about the drama between her and Ariana and he didn't like the idea of having to tutor her. Obviously, he was willing to give her the benefit of doubt. There was two sides to every story and who knew? Maybe Jesse and Diana would get along just fine. He easily found her in the library. Diana's face was recognizable just because everyone in school had it memorized. It was a given that everybody would know her because everybody knew Beccah and as said, Diana was next in line. She was supposed to take Beccah's place. Jesse took a seat across from Diana and spoke with a straight face, "I'm Tyler...Jesse Tyler and I'm apparently supposed to teach you the ways of Language Arts."word count ;; 708 tagged ;; diana o'ryan wearing ;; click !muse ;; love me - justin bieber notes ;; oh man. they're gonna be hilarious!

Diana let out a breath when she finally saw Jesse enter the library. With any luck, he wouldn't want to be here as much as she didn't. Though even she had to admit that if she was stuck studying in the library, she was glad it was with Jesse. While neither of them were exactly friends, given the fact that she didn't really know him, they still ran in the same circle being popular and all. Jesse was on the basketball team and she was a cheerleader. Not to mention that he was incredibly hot and she didn't mind looking at him.
She couldn't help but roll her eyes lightly when he introduced himself like James Bond. She was never a huge fan of the movies. She only sat through them because her friends made her, though she never did so quietly. "Hey Jesse," She said with a small sigh as she nodded a little bit. "Yes, allegedly I am not doing so hot in Language Arts and need to get help in that class or else I am going to be ineligible soon from cheerleader." While she wouldn't be too broken up about not being able to cheer, she enjoyed it. It added to her image of popularity and gave her a good outlet for her anger. Plus, she had been doing it since she was little and it would be horrible for her to have to give it up now.
Diana looked at him for a moment. "So, where shall we start?" She asked him as she opened her notebook to the first clean page. While there was a few notes written in it, it was mostly filled with aimless doodles. That always seemed to be what she did when she got bored during class. Jesse couldn't help but think Diana Paige O'Ryan was hot. He didn't really like her personally though because to be honest, she was kind of a bitch to people. Rebeccah Walker was the same way and his older brother, Bailey was hung up on her. He didn't understand his brother. He didn't understand why Bails was being the way he was. Bailey Sterling Tyler used to be the sweetest, most thoughtful guys ever and Jesse had looked up to him... Bails had changed too much. He was reckless, stupid, and hung up on drama as of recently. He also put himself in the middle of fights. Jesse just stayed out of it except when Beccah had aborted Brandon's baby without telling Brandon. Jesse had figured that was a below-the-fucking-belt move on Beccah's part. Old Bailey would have thought the same but new Bails, of course, sided with the girl to get in her pants. Jesse could care less about getting laid. Of course, he did enjoy it but he didn't usually go out of his way and make enemies in order to do so. "How was your day?"Jesse Patrick Tyler wasn't super fond of Velocity. He hadn't had many good experiences here so far. He was running around with Bailey's friends mostly. He got along with Zoey Richardson and a few of the furious five. Those kids were crazy, Jesse couldn't quite believe it. He wanted to hang out with them some day, especially the blond one that called himself Nateface or something like that. He looked over at Diana as she said something, "You probably mostly just need to do your homework and really try on it. It's just essay writing mostly. Do you understand the mechanics of that?" Jesse had never understood why people struggled so much in school. He always just got it right off the bat. He didn't understand how it didn't click with some people. It just didn't make sense to him... But it was possible that he didn't get it because it had never not clicked with him. Jesse Tyler had always gotten it right off the bat. It was part of being a genius. Jesse smiled as she asked her question. He waited for her to open her notebook and saw the aimless doodles for the most part. So that was why she wasn't doing so well, she didn't care to write the notes or learn the material. He chuckled and replied, "First off, you're going to copy my notes... And when we get new ones, you're going to write them in class. That's a good start." He pulled his five subject notebook out and opened to the section where all his English notes were. There were probably about ten pages worth of notes that she probably needed to copy down. He kept his neat and tidy and, surprisingly, his handwriting was neat and easy to read. It'd be easy for her to copy his stuff down. He slid it over and said, "There's my notes. Copy that crap down, even though it's a pain in the ass. This is step one to passing this class."word count ;; 526 tagged ;; diana o'ryan wearing ;; click !muse ;; one time - justin bieber notes ;;heck yeah!

Diana took a few minutes to look Jesse over, checking him out a bit as he got settled into his seat. She shrugged lightly at his question. "My day was....uneventful," She said with a small shrug. It was true. Today felt like she was just going through the motions and doing the same things she always did. Nothing fun or exciting had really happened. "How was your day?"
She shrugged lightly at his statement. "I do most of my homework for the class. I just don't do that well on it." She sighed gently as she rested her chin on her hand. "And I understand most of the mechanics of an essay. Usually it is staying focused on the topic and supporting my thesis that gives me trouble, I think. I mean, there could be a few other issues as well, but I think that is the main ones the teacher always critiques me on."
Diana looked at him as he began to talk about her notes, well, in reality her lack of notes. She sighed gently as he listed the two things that needed to be done first. "But it is all so boring," She told him and sighed gently. "I try to stay focused in class and do the notes, but I always lose focus and began to doodle. Why do people think that English is so interesting?" She took his notebook from him and scanned the first page quickly before letting out a small sigh. "One small step for man, one million pages of notes for Diana." She stated as she picked up her pen and started to write. WORDS: 276 OUTFIT: HERETAG: Jesse NOTES: N/A

Jesse knew that she was checking him out. He was very aware to that type of thing but he didn't make a big deal out of it. It was flattering, obviously, but he didn't think he was the cutest man on Earth just because Diana O'Ryan was checking him out. In fact, Jesse rarely thought that way. "Well, make your life more eventful. You're like top of the school after Beccah's gone, right? You're next in line, there's gotta be something entertaining for you!" Jesse always found something entertaining to do. He was part of the popular crowd; he ran in the same circle as Diana. Maybe he wasn't top of the food chain but that didn't really matter to him. He just wanted to play some basketball and get to know people. He liked to party and just have some fun in general. "It was fantastic. I got in trouble for talking and trying to ride a skateboard down the hall... And uh, I pretended to shoot my math teacher with my finger guns." Jesse grinned teasingly. Jesse smiled and replied, "Ah, so you like to go off on random tangents when you don't need to? Is that what you're saying?" He looked around the library. Hopefully nobody made fun of Diana for needing a tutor, especially in Jesse Tyler. It wasn't like it was a bad thing to know Jesse. He was popular, he was a good kid, and most people liked him. Everybody kind of left him out because of the fact that he was so overly smart. Unlike his older brother, Jesse wasn't afraid to tell people he was smart. He showed it off on a regular basis. Jesse was proud that he was a genius. He knew that Bails tried to hide it best he could but Jesse wasn't fooled. His brother was just throwing a fit and acting out, so Bails was just... Acting like a child. Jesse figured that Bailey needed to grow up but he didn't say that out loud. Bailey would figure it out on his own and for now, they were still best friends. "I could take a look at one of your essays and edit it?"Jesse laughed when she said it was boring, "I can agree that Language Arts is boring. You have to focus if you want to pass that class though. You don't necessarily have to write down everything he says, you just need to get a few bullet points and write down the high lights of the lesson. Maybe you just need help figuring out what the high lights of the lesson are?" Jesse was always willing to help people with their homework. He had no issues with doing that but one had to be willing to learn in order for the tutoring to be successful. Fortunately, Diana wanted to at least make the grade, so it wouldn't be too bad. Diana looked at him for a minute when he told her to make her life more eventful. "I kinda don't want to make my life more eventful at the moment. Eventful usually means drama in my life and I am trying to avoid that right now. This school has enough drama," She told him and then sighed gently with a nod. "But yeah, after Beccah leaves this whole place is supposed to be mine to rule." She smiled lightly at him, but couldn't help the small pang of sadness that formed at the thought. Is that what she really wanted? To be the head bitch in charge? She had always thought that she did, but now she wasn't so sure. She had alienated so much people getting to her and didn't really have a friend that she could call a true friend and things wouldn't improve when she took over. She shook her head lightly and looked at him, hearing the tail end of his story. "Sounds like an interesting day."
She nodded at his question. "Yeah, I guess that is a good way to explain what I do," She told him with a small shrug. She knew that having a tutor really wouldn't help her get popularity points but at the same time, it was something that needed to be done. She didn't want to lose her spot on the squad and she wanted to get her mom off her back. She could worry about the popularity points later. She knew that with some well placed manipulation, she could gain them back easily. She looked back at Jesse and nodded lightly. "I would like that. It might be helpful."
Again Diana sighed and her head fell lightly onto the notebook as she groaned lightly. After a moment, she looked back up at him. "But how am I supposed to focus on it when it is so boring?" She asked him. She was about to ask how she would know what the highlights of the question were when he asked if she might need help with that. She gave a small nod and smiled at him. "Yeah. I might need help figuring out the highlights of the lesson." She couldn't to scribble down Jesse's notes in her own notebook and looked up at him with a small smile, giving him a nod. "I got this."
