Caine didn’t like to think of Anna, if he could help it. When he thought of her, day dreams would probably follow, and whilst Caine enjoyed spending his time in his own mind, his family were always somewhat wary of it. The amount of times his cousin had accused him of daydreaming about sleeping with him, or accusing Caine of wanting his body, were so frequent that it was uncountable. Adam did not bring a smile to the seventeen year olds face, but Anna did. He was sure that things were going well with them, that their relationship was blooming in the future. After all they were growing increasingly close, he could tell her a lot of things that he couldn’t tell anybody else, except maybe the fact that he liked to daydream over her. But surely Anna knew all of these things already, they’d been hanging out a fair bit after all, and she wouldn’t hang out with him if she didn’t dig him; at least, that was the way he viewed their up and coming relationship.
Today was inevitably going to be a good day, he could feel it. They would probably go for lunch or something, or maybe go shopping if Anna wanted to; Caine had never enjoyed shopping but his resilience was definitely bendable when it depended upon a pretty girl, and he enjoyed her company even if it did mean trailing around clothes shops. Anyway, whatever they did, he was sure that today would be a good day; it was also a Saturday which meant that there was no school, no annoying jocks, and no boring tests. In fact today would be such a good day that perhaps he would pluck up the courage and kiss her. The first kiss was always a bit of a challenge, there were so many questions in his mind, like would she kiss him back? Thinking about Anna, even in his most anxious state, was a nice relief from the usual shadows which lurked at the back of his mind, replaying every taste and touch from that night, with that stranger. It was odd, how the following events with his parents were barely touched upon in his mind’s eye; the pain was even skimmed over somewhat, it was just those unforgivable touches and thrusts. He didn’t want to get swallowed up in the sickness of regret, Anna was a perfect distraction then.
Standing in front of the mirror, a cigarette poking out between his fingers, as he stared at his tall, angular form, indifferent to what he was seeing. Sometimes he would stare in disgust, because he was so odd looking; he hated his cheekbones, and he hated his skinny form. He was about six foot, that was a good height, and yet he was just so skinny, it didn’t make any sense to him. He rarely stared at his appearance in vain admiration of himself, that would be rather odd, incredibly odd; being vain wasn’t a trait that Caine could be proud, or ashamed, to have. Indifference was perhaps the most positive emotion he had ever had towards his appearance. He ran his smoke free hand through strands of blonde hair, as a tooth rested upon his lower lip. His lip was tattered from his filthy habit of eating it, just like his lungs if anyone were to examine close enough. Apparently smoking was a bad thing, but it angered his parents, so it had to be good. After several more moments of deciding if black skinny jeans and a jumper would suffice, Caine finally left his temporary home and set off to see Anna.
As he approached their meeting point, his footsteps growing at a quickening pace, his heartbeat began to play ‘isn’t it fun to skip a beat’. To answer his heart, no it wasn’t fun, it was annoying, and he felt even faint at the thought of it. But Caine always felt this way before he saw Anna, he would always feel nervous and stupid, and even excited, but it would settle eventually, usually when he clasped sight on her, when he hugged her, inhaled in her scent.
OOC: Sorry, it's a bit lame. [/size]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] IT'S FUNNY TO ME HOW YOU'VE TURNED INTO A JOKE The Words: lazy The Outfit: HERE The Notes go here Caine was a new friend of Anna's, and someone she was beginning to take quite a liking to. He was nice and everything, but he was also interesting. Which was what Anna looked for in a friend. She got bored easily, so anyone she was friends with had to keep her interest and it was very rare that she actually found someone who did this for her. Sure, there were a few like, Declan and Xanna, and of course, Xavier kept her interest, but besides these three people, Caine was the only other person who kept her interest. Since Declan was still not really talking to her, Xanna was no where to be found, and her time with Xavier was cut to a minimum because of the rumor, she had called Caine to go hang out with her at the mall.
She took a quite shower, not bothering to rewash her hair. she had just washed it the day before and she wasn't in the mood to deal with it. some days she just wanted to cut it all off. she tied her hair in a low bun on the back of her head as soon as she got out of the shower, letting a few pieces fall into her face. it didn't take long to find an outfit suitable for today, it made it easier when your closet was full of clothes that were all the same colors. She oulled on a pair of tight, black skinny jeans along with a pale pink shirt that was a little baggy. she tucked the front of her shirt into her jeans and put a white blazer over the top of it all. She put on her favorite boots before grabbing a small black purse, stuffing her wallet and phone in it.
She headed out of her temporary home, probably more temporary than she wanted. Shane was no where to be found after his run in with her and Declan cuddling. She had thought he had just gone off to New York again, but he had agreed to let her know when he was leaving again. So, her living in a mansion was probably going to be over soon. She wasn't really sure where she was going to be living when she had to leave Shane's, she had thought Declan's house, but that would be odd with their current situation. It wasn't a long walk from her house on the beach to where everything in the city was located, and she loved walking, so it worked out. She had to leave her car at her mother's house when she left, so she was without a car. She could ride a bike.. but have you ever tried to ride a bike in heels? That does NOT work out. Ever.
On her way, she stopped at starbucks, picking up a gingerbread latte before they discontinued it until next autumn. It was only a matter of minutes after she picked up her coffee that she arrived at their meeting point. She spotted Caine already there and smiled as she walked up to him. "Hey!" She wrapped her arms around him in a hug, careful not to spill her coffee. "How are you?"
