COMPETITIVE. so this guy here is tate xavier reilly. though he's not a native to velocity, he's from aspen, tate's been here for just over a year and honestly, is quite content in the city he though he'd hate. in just a few sentences, tate is essentially the typical confident, competitive guy. he does what he needs to do to get what he wants, by whatever means possible, though that is also a downfall of his. this makes tate act on instinct a lot, which isn't always a good thing. tate considers his friends to be more like his family than his actual family is. though this is most true for only those closest to him, tate really does regard his friends highly. he will need one very good friend, sort of like a confidant (i may put a request up for this, idk) who he could trust his life with. basically, this guy would be the only one to know about tate's relationship. because he holds his friends in such high regard, this may cause him to have less friends than enemies, but he's totally cool with that. i'm sure he'll have a handful of people who'll hate him. there's always the guy who's spot he took on the basketball team when he moved to velocity (that could always be a fun plot). and as for lovers, sorry ladies, he is taken, though you won't hear tate talking about his relationship. to be honest, he hardly ever brings it up. though this department is open for crushes, exes, and anything you can think up (as long as it doesn't mean him screwing things up with his final, savannah carley).

^{i love tate's personality and if liam wasn't shooting guard on the basketball team i would suggest they be friends, cause the two of them kinda have the same personality and threading them together would be funny as hell. but, liam is not only shooting guard for the basketball team but he's also co-captain and because of that he's damn sure not about to let some guy come in and steal his spot. liam is gonna have it out for tate cause as far as liam is concerned, tate is ether riding the bench all season or he's walking his ass around with a permanent limp. when it comes to sports liam is no slacker but he'll do anything to make sure he stays the best. if it means kicking tate's ass every five seconds or practicing day and night to stay the best then he'll do it, he'll go to any length to make sure tate stays second string.}

ariel here is extremely upbeat, very outgoing, and is a big wild child. I can definitely see these two being exes, but that ended on good terms or maybe he just couldn't deal with her addictive partying ways? but either way, they're friends now, yes? add/delete/modify

that does make the most sense though, the two of them sort of being at eachother's throats. except tate sort of expected it from the start - joining a team during junior year is bound to piss people off.

yeah, that makes sense. and even if they never really had a "real" relationship, like, they were together for a little while after he first got in florida, and as you said sort of ended things on good terms for whatever reason (her drug abuse, him getting interested in sav). but i do like the idea of them still being friends, tate needs friends by the way things are looking so far xp

i like it! i like the idea of them being friends - they're sort of opposites, yet they're not, so they'd balance each other out quite a well i think. but yeah, and once things happen and dainton becomes a bit less annoyed at tate for not telling him things, maybe dainton could be the one tate eventually confides in over savannah (... after writing this i realize you've sort of already said that they could be confidants XP).
