XAVIER JASON SUMMERS
[/blockquote][/blockquote]twenty-four, highschool staff, English teacher, heterosexual, intelligent, , down to earth
Jason Dylan Summers, one of the youngest staff members at the school. Right when he graduated college at age 22, he was lucky enough to snag a job as a substitute teacher. One year later of praise from other staff members and students, he was finally offered a position at the local high school, which he accepted instantly. He started only as the English teacher, then added on the assistant football coach position for a year, and he just made head coach, finally. He plans to lead his team to victory and work them up to their full potential. He now only teaches his English class for the first three periods of the day, mostly because football takes up a lot of his time. He loves it though so he doesn’t mind. He had always wanted to be a teacher though; someone that could inspire teenagers that succeeding in life is definitely possible no matter your background. He hadn’t always lived in Virginia, no sir, after middle school his parents moved him out to Wisconsin because of a new job for his dad. After high school, he moved back to Virginia to attend ‘Virginia State University’, moving into the dorm rooms and starting a life here again and reuniting with family members that were still here.
He's a really nice and cool guy right when you meet him. what you see is what you get. he doesn't believe in acting fake towards anyone, and he can be a bit charming too. he loves conversations and getting to know people, mostly his students because he knows teenagers have such broad minds. plus, he believes he can learn something from each and every one of them. and maybe give them a little insight on the world outside of high school. he tries his best to assist his students in any way he can. especially when they need someone to talk to. most don't like going to the guidance counselor, so they go to him for support. and he's always more than happy to open his door for them.
Because he’s so young, he’s much more relatable to the students. He’s the teacher that everyone loves; he actually talks to the kids as equals a majority of the time. Don’t get him wrong though, he’s not all shits and giggles. He knows when to get serious, which usually comes out when he’s in ‘coach’ mode. He’s on his players’ ass like white on rice. He makes sure each and every one of them is eating right, doing their weight lifting, keeping their grades up, etc. he also knows when to push certain players, when he sees potential in a student, he tries his best to help the student reach their full potential. He believes in all of his students and thinks that they can do anything if they tried hard enough. He’s more laid back when he’s teaching his English class, doesn’t give too much homework, just lectures mostly. His students don’t complain though, he makes it fun cracking jokes during the lectures, getting them involved with certain projects, etc. He even plays some movies sometimes, mostly having to do with books that were turned into films, asking his class to compare and contrast and give their opinion on which was better.
If you saw him in this class and then on the field, you’d think he was two different people. In English class, he’s the laidback cool teacher everyone likes to chat with. When it comes to being a coach, he’s a hard-ass and very serious. Wouldn’t you be if you had all of the jocks on your team? Jason enjoys football a lot, he’s really good at organizing and putting together plays for on the field. He’s studied each of his players enough to know when to really use them. Sometimes, he pushes his players a little too hard, but overall, he’s a good coach. Especially when it comes to winning. He gets really into the games too, he’s the coach that screams at the referee if he made a bad or dumb call. the one that’s seen jumping around and throwing a fist into the air if a touchdown was made. He’s also the type that takes out his anger on other people, mostly his players. So let’s not make the team lose, mmkay?
