JACOB RYAN TUCKER
seventeen, junior, bisexual, blind, extremely depressed, lucas klein
personality
[/blockquote][/blockquote]Jacob Ryan Tucker is hard to talk to because he's extremely depressed. He has a hard time talking to people because he's scared to make a fool of himself. He self-harms without his parents knowing it and Jacob has been bullied his whole life. He's been picked on, beaten up, jumped, and stolen from. Kids generally use him to show everybody else how cool they are. Jacob refuses to fight and he'll just stand and let them beat him to a bloody pulp. His parents have complained and complained to multiple schools over his bullying but Jacob feels as though it's his own fault he gets beat up. Jacob feels insecure with his masculinity especially ever since he admitted to himself that he also likes boys. He refuses to let anybody close to him so he doesn't have anybody that he considers true friends and since he's the high school reject, he doesn't have any casual friends either. Jacob's depression isn't helped that he's outshined by every single one of his siblings.
Jacob love his family with all his heart but he'd rather not live with them. He feels dependant when in personality, Jacob is very independant. Unfortunately for Jacob, he's blind. He has to depend on his family in order to do even the simplest tasks. Fortunately, Jacob has refused to need braille in order to get around. He can feel the numbers on most phones and he made his parents help him outline letters until he got it perfect. It took him a long time to learn letters. So he can still go to a regular school as long as he gets special papers where he can feel very slight bumps where the lines are supposed to be. He also has a seeing eye dog in order to get around the school. The dog's name is Jersey. Jacob doesn't like needing a seeing eye dog but he likes Jersey as a dog. Jacob doesn't like it when teachers insist on helping him with his lunch tray and he really didn't like it when the people at First Colonial had to ask him over and over whether this school was in fact a good fit because they weren't willing to give him braille to read. He told them he didn't know Braille anyways. The only thing he needs on his assignments is to have the questions read to him.
Jacob plays the drums despite being blind and he's been playing since he was two years old. He's been taking lessons since he was three year olds with their private tutor. Someday, Jacob hopes to join a band and make it big in the world. Jacob refuses to let his mother dress him; his brother, Maximus, picks his clothes every morning. Maximus and Jacob are the most alike in personality but in looks, they are nothing alike. In fact, none of the Ryan family even looks remotely similar. Jacob is upset that he's the only one that's blind in the family. He's really jealous of his twin brother, Matthias, who is on top of the world. He has a girlfriend and is totally in love. Jacob hates that Matthias has everything and Jacob has nothing. It drives him crazy. Jacob also enjoys attempting to long board with Jersey pulling him along on the long board. He actually thinks it's pretty awesome and though his parents don't approve, Maximus thought it was a great idea. Jacob continues to do it even though his parents have told him over and over that they wish he wouldn't do it.
Jacob has a really hard time understanding most concepts at school, especially math and science. He used to have a hard time with his English essays but now that he has Dragon software, all he has to do is say whatever he wants the essay to say and the Dragon software will type it into his computer. Jacob really does struggle in school but he perseveres and will have concepts explained over and over again until he understands. He'll have things read to him so that he understands and does well on tests. He'll ask teachers a million questions in order to get the concept to stick in his head. Most people think he struggles because of his blindness but that's not the case. The blind part is the easy part; he actually just struggles understanding things.

history
[/blockquote][/blockquote]Jacob Ryan Tucker and Matthias James Tucker were born on March 5th. They were both healthy baby boys and their parents loved them to death at first sight. Their two older sisters immediately played mommy as soon as the twins got home and they didn't even have to fight over who got to play mommy because there were two babies in which to play mommy with. Carson, the oldest brother, was ready for them to grow up so they could follow in his footsteps in playing football and then joining the military which Maximus wasn't doing. Maximus was considered girly by Carson so he was ready for the twins to grow up and become masculine. George and Bethany Tucker (the parents) wanted Jacob and Matthias to stay little forever because they were cute like that. They sincerely hoped that Jacob and Matthias looked exactly alike because none of the siblings looked anything like each other. None of their children looked like their parents and they didn't look like each other. It drove the parents up the wall so they hoped the twins looked exactly alike and resembled their parents to a point. As the twins turned into toddlers, the parents both realized that their twins did not look like twins. Fortunately, Matthias looked just like his dad and Jacob looked just like his mom. So they finally had children that resembled them. At the age of one, it was found out that Jacob was completely blind, a trait he'd gotten from his great-great-grandfather. Matthias wasn't in the least bit blind.
At the age of two, Jacob got a drum set from his neighbor who was moving away and had always loved Jacob. Jacob Ryan Tucker loved that drum set and would sit down and play at it forever. Matthias played the family piano. This was the only thing that the twins had in common: they both worked endlessly at playing an instrument (even if it was two completely different instruments). George hired a private tutor to work with Jacob on the drums and Bethany hired a private teacher to work with Matthias on the piano. This was when the boys were three. Jacob spent most of his time with his older brother, Maximus, because he Maximus was really the only one who still wanted to hang out with Jacob after they found out he was blind. Once Carson found out that Jacob wouldn't be able to play sports or join the military, he gave up on being friends with the little boy. He still worked endlessly with Matthias even though it was a hopeless cause. Jacob and Matthias captured everybody's hearts because they were both really sweet but in their own ways. Matthias went out of his way to get attention and Jacob hid behind his parents every time they went into public or somewhere new. Matthias loved attention and Jacob hated it. At this time, Jacob had a new little brother named Kieran Xzavier Tucker. Jacob didn't pay much attention to Kieran but he loved his little brother a lot - he just had a lot on his mind for being only three years old.
At the age of five, Jacob was deprived from going to kindergarten. Matthias got to go to kindergarten and Jacob had to stay home and do home school. He got really annoyed that Matthias got to go on a new adventure while he was stuck at home learning the same things Matthias was except knowing how to read and writing his letters... When he found out that Matthias could write stories and write his own name, Jacob insisted that his mother teach him how to write his letters. In order to make sure that his mother taught him to write his letters properly, he asked Matthias whether they were right after his mother assured him he were. When his mom found out he was doing this, she did, in fact, teach Jacob how to properly write his letters and learn the alphabet. It took Jacob up until he was nine years old to learn his alphabet and have them mastered while Matthias had them mastered in six months. Jacob would always be behind the other kids his own age because he was a really slow learner. He tried his very best and he struggled through everything but he insisted that he was going to learn whatever Matthias learned and hopefully more. By the time he was thirteen years old, Jacob was mostly caught up to the kids his own age and his mom enrolled him into a normal school. Matthias was supposed to be in charge of helping Jacob find his way around the school but Matthias was too busy being the most popular kid to bother helping Jacob. Jacob was left on his own until he made friends with another outcast named Damien. Damien and Jacob were bad for each other as far as attitude went. They both fell into a deep depression together. Damien was also blind and also just as determined as Jacob was to keep up with the other kids.
As Matthias got more and more popular, Jacob got less and less popular. Jacob picked up cutting his wrists and he tried suicide twice. The first time, he attempted to swallow pills but then got too scared to let it kill him. The second time, he was about to shoot himself with his dad's pistol and his brothers, Maximus and Carson, had to pry it out of his fingers. Kieran, Jacob's little brother, was becoming quite the little prick and was always teasing Jacob for being a "suicidal freak" who needed to see a "shrink". Kieran was popular and it was getting to his head. While Matthias was still a sweet kid and loved everybody, Kieran was a brat. He was rude and he was a bully to the max. Kieran basically thought he was the shit. Jacob tried suicide for the third time because of Kieran - he tried to slit his throat with the switch blade that he used for slicing his wrists. By this time, his arms were covered in scars but his parents never noticed because Jacob always wore long sleeves or a sweatshirt. Jacob made sure they never knew because he didn't want them to send him away. Kieran always made threats to tell them and Matthias tried to keep Kieran away from his twin. Maximus was the one who was really there for Jacob. On a really emotional night for Jacob, Maximus was the only one at home. They were sixteen years old and their emotions took over....They slept together. Now they can't even talk to each other because it was so awkward afterwards. Kieran eventually found out - how he found out, Jacob will never know. Jacob has just come to the conclusion that Kieran just knows everything no matter what - even if it's none of the kid's business. Kieran uses that as blackmail to get everything he'll ever want from Jacob.
Recently, Jacob got a guide dog named Jersey. He's a purebred Golden Retriever. Jacob now goes to First Colonial along with Maximus, Leah, Matthias, and Kieran. Jacob is terrified for Kieran to tell their parents the things he's done with Maximus. Maximus and him still don't talk. The sex destroyed their relationship and Maximus doesn't seem to have any intention of fixing it. Jacob wishes they could repair the damage. Leah knows nothing about it and neither does Matthias. Kieran threatens to tell someone every time Jacob turns his head it seems like.
hey should've tried harder admin! my name is Alex and i've been doing this stuff for forever. i also play joshua lucas boomer and bailey sterling tyler. before i go, look at what i can do!
Bailey looked to the sky, watching the white, fluffy clouds roll through the big blue. He couldn't quite believe that he was going to a new school today. His adoptive family didn't like his old school so they'd moved across the state and now Bailey was going to a new school. He'd had to leave all his friends and his girlfriend, Megan, behind. He'd had to leave everything behind, including the contact information of his real parents and his siblings. Bailey's phone was replaced so he couldn't get a hold of anybody in his old place. His laptop was taken and his social networking accounts deleted. His adoptive parents wanted him to start over. Bailey Sterling Tyler didn't want to start over. He wanted his old life back. He didn't want to go to First Colonial. He didn't want to make new friends and he most definitely didn't want a new girlfriend. Bailey wanted to go back to the last place, Tampa. He loved Tampa, Florida but now he was stuck here and he hated it. He hated it here. He wasn't going to allow himself to like it here because if he kept up his stubborn act, he was sure his adoptive parents would take him back home to Tampa, Florida.
The sun was uncovered when the clouds continued to move and Bailey basked in the sunlight. He didn't want to move from this spot but his adoptive mother was sure to come out soon and demand that he get ready for his first day of school. The grass felt wonderful to his fingertips and the back of his legs. The sun warmed his body and the grass was soft beneath his body. His hair blew in his face from the slight breeze. He closed his eyes and just let himself relax completely. Bailey loved the relaxation that he got from just laying in the grass and enjoying the sunlight. He liked to hang out on the beach too but seeing as there wasn't much of a beach here, he was going to have to deal with his grass. Suddenly he heard a voice yelling.... Surprisingly it wasn't his adoptive mother, it was his adoptive father. His adoptive father never yelled for him because his adoptive father didn't feel it was worth it to yell at Bailey. Bailey grimaced, sat up, and turned around to face his adoptive father. His adoptive father, John, said, "Bailey, come here." Bailey slowly raised himself to his feet and walked reluctantly into the prison that his adoptive parents insisted that he call 'home'. He looked into John's fierce gray eyes and waited for John to start talking. "Bailey, you are not going to get suspended from First Colonial. You will act like you are seventeen - like an adult. You will get good grades and you will apply yourself in school. You will dress appropriately - Liz replaced your whole wardrobe. You will be a man. Understood?"
Did being a man mean letting his adoptive parents get away with whatever they wanted? Did being a "man" mean letting his parents dress him at seventeen years old? He stared at John right in the eyes, trying to keep control of his temper. He hated his adoptive family. Why couldn't his parents have kept him? He would've been just fine even if they didn't favor him, right? He would've made it all right. He hated John and Liz. They were grabbing tighter and tighter as Bailey made it closer and closer to eighteen. Before the move, Bailey had been able to call and text his siblings, who still loved him even if his parents didn't. Now that they had moved and Bailey had a new phone, he had no contacts other than John and Liz. They had also replaced their phone, participating in the sacrifice to make Bailey Sterling Tyler 'feel better'. If they wanted Bailey to feel better, they would have given him his contacts even if they insisted they were going to give him a new phone. Bailey replied to John, "Why did you feel the need to replace my whole wardrobe? Why can't I talk to my family? Why are we here? John, this will never be home no matter how many times you make me call it home. It will NEVER be home to me. You made me leave everything behind and I don't care if you want to leave everything behind. I DON'T."
John stared at him unhappily but Bailey stared right into John's eyes without flinching. Now it was a power contest and Bailey was determined to win. They stood staring at each other until finally John looked away. It was a small victory but Bailey had won and that was all that mattered. Bailey didn't want to be here and he wasn't afraid to tell John that through actions and words. Bailey was fully against being here, especially since he'd left everything behind. John finally spoke, "Bailey, we think it'd be good for you to leave your past behind and start anew. There are good people here and you can find a new girlfriend. We feel like you're really depressed and having a hard time....So we left the environment you were in to give you a chance. We felt like we were fighting a losing battle with you against depression in Tampa, Bailey. We're doing this for you." Bailey looked at him with disbelief showing in every part of his body, but especially his eyes. They were doing this because they felt they were losing the battle against depression? Maybe they were but it wasn't really any of their business in Bailey's mind. If he was depressed, he could deal with it. He could handle it on his own. "What if this place makes it worse? The only reason I was sane was because I had a life in Tampa and I could talk to my siblings. Now I don't have that escape.....So what if it makes it worse?"
John frowned and replied, "Then we made a mistake but we're not moving back right now Bailey. We're going to hold it out here for a few months and see how life goes for you. I have a job here and Liz has an interview. I honestly think all three of us will do better here." Bailey threw his hands up in the air in frustration. He stomped upstairs to his new bedroom. All his posters had been dumped. They wanted him to redecorate and get more posters so that he could do the whole starting 'anew'. They had bought all new furniture for the entire house. They hadn't brought anything with them. All their pictures were in storage at the current moment in time. Liz wanted to make 'new memories' and forget the old ones. John agreed whole heartedly with her. Bailey didn't agree in the least. What made it worse was they didn't tell Bailey they were moving and leaving everything behind until the day they moved. They had made sure Bailey hadn't had time to get anybody's contact information, especially Megan's. Bailey had to hand it to his adoptive parents, they were smart....Too smart. Bailey looked in his closet and found a whole bunch of button up oxford shirts in a variety of colors. He also had a bunch of ties in a variety of colors. He looked in his pants drawer, expecting dress pants but found a whole bunch of really nice jeans that were probably $300 a pair. Then again, if they could afford to buy a Bugatti Veyron 2012 for Bailey in CASH, they could definitely afford the jeans. He had none of his old hoodies left. They had bought him solid color zip-up hoodies and he had a couple sweaters.
Liz had set out an outfit on his bed so that's what he changed into. Surprisingly, Bailey knew how to tie a tie. He put on the red tie and then pocketed his iPod and his droid cell phone. He attached his keys to his belt loop on his pants then walked out of his bedroom door which happened to be right across the room from the parents' room. Liz came running out of her bedroom and looked at Bailey critically. He rolled his eyes at her and then asked, "What's wrong with my clothes this time?" Liz stared at the bottom of his shirt and he frowned, looking down. "What?" She sighed, rolling her eyes at him and said, "You have to tuck it in Bailey or it looks stupid." Bailey looked at her and replied, "Seriously? I'll look like a complete nerd and you know I'm not that." She nodded and replied, "You're not stupid if that's what you're implying. I know you're a nerd deep down and you're a very smart kid. How many languages do you know that you taught yourself? Quite a few, right? Why shouldn't you look smart if you are?" Bailey just shook his head and tucked his shirt on....He wasn't in the mood to argue with her. He did add, "I want my clothes back." Liz didn't say anything to that which meant Bailey was never going to see his clothes ever again. Her not replying meant she'd probably burned them or the equivalent. Either way, they were effectively....gone.
Bailey Sterling Tyler made it to the kitchen and John said, "You look sharp. Here's breakfast." Bailey took the plate and grimaced. He was given eggs with spinach in them, fat free buttered toast, and a mix of apples and bananas. Now they were making him eat healthy too? He saw his mom packing something into a paper bag and he asked, "Is that my lunch or something?" John nodded at Bailey, answering the question. Bailey just rolled his eyes and ate his food super fast, making sure he couldn't really taste it because he didn't want to. He chugged the freshly made orange juice and by the time he was done, Liz was done with his lunch. She handed it to him and Bailey took it unhappily. He grabbed his backpack that had been cleaned out for the new school year. He unlocked his Bugatti Veyron 2012 and swung his backpack into the passenger seat and got in his car. This was the one upside to moving here. Bailey had a really sweet car. He didn't bother to put his seat belt on. He started the car and could just feel the horsepower that he had control of. He laid his head back in his seat. This was the first time he was driving the car and he already loved his car and he hadn't even moved an inch yet. He turned the stereo on to a rock station and relished in the sound quality. Bailey was obsessed with his car already.
Finally, Bailey rolled backward out of the driveway. He drove out of his neighborhood and he showed off at every stop light on the way to school. He stomped on that gas pedal and took off, beating every single car that bothered to race him. Bailey laughed and laughed. The windows in his car were rolled down and he flipped off random people for lack of anything better to do with his excitement. He stopped at a gas station to buy a coca cola and when he came back, two girls in bikinis were sitting on his car having an older guy take a picture of them. Bailey purposely walked across as soon as the guy took the picture and then he got in his seat and pulled backward as soon as the girls stood up. Bailey wasn't mean to girls, especially when they were in bikinis. He was practically drooling over those two but he didn't want his car in pictures without his permission. Bailey finally made it to his school after a few u-turns just trying to find it. He parked his car right up front where it would get attention and got out, swinging his backpack over his right shoulder lazily. He locked his car up and walked into the school after one deep breath. Bailey went into the office and they hesitated before one lady finally asked, "Are you Bailey Tyler? Your mom called in ahead to warn us you'd be here today for your schedule and stuff." Bailey instantly corrected the office lady for her mistake, "My adoptive mother called in. Not my mother." The office lady nodded but didn't answer. She did hand him his schedule and a map of the school and then glanced out the window. Bailey figured it was his car she was looking at but he didn't say anything. He checked his phone and found that he still had an hour and a half before classes started.....Why was he here this early? He walked to his locker and leaned against it....Now what?
The sun was uncovered when the clouds continued to move and Bailey basked in the sunlight. He didn't want to move from this spot but his adoptive mother was sure to come out soon and demand that he get ready for his first day of school.
