Nathaniel Quentin O'Keefe is from Ireland and he's sixteen years old. His hobbies include poetry and photography. He also loves to write stories and is currently working on a novel. Nathaniel likes to go by Nate or Nathan. He prefers Nathan. He always has a camera on him and he also carries a composition notebook so if he has any ideas for a novel, he has paper on hand. Nathaniel dislikes school, believing it to curb his artistic brilliance. He takes low level classes so he doesn't have to spend time worrying about school. Nathan has a short temper and is easily annoyed. Fortunately for most people, Nathan doesn't get annoyed by the hyper, crazy people. He gets annoyed with people who act like douches or act like badasses. He's not afraid to get up in your face and tell you how it is. He's brutally honest and very much proud of that fact. He doesn't dance around the truth. Nathan is a complete spaz. He suffers from severe ADHD and Tourettes Syndrome. He doesn't cuss at random from his disease but he has a lot of crazy movements that he can't control. On top of that, he's hyper as hell. He doesn't take his medications so he's constantly bouncing off the walls and speaking at a million miles a minute. Nathan O'Keefe is an asshole to girls majority of the time. He's completely homosexual but he'll lead girls on just to fuck with them. He''ll go as far as telling them he loves them and pretend to about to propose and then say, "just kidding, I'm gay." At the same time, Nathan likes to have friends so he's nice to a lot of girls. He's a complete sweetheart to guys that put up with him. He has a prejudice against teachers and he's a complete shithead to all of them. He does the bare minimum as far as school work goes.
Nathan hates his teachers with every passion of his being. He's an asshole to all of them because they are "curbing his artistic brilliance." He's not afraid to tell teachers that their class is useless and that he'll never use it. He struggles in math mostly. He refuses to do any homework that involves math and in class, he'll work on his novel or text. Nathan loves to text and is fully addicted to it. He dislikes talking on the phone. It's either face to face, through tumble, or over text. He prefers face to face contact because Nathan relies on body language to communicate properly. Nathan is very sarcastic and he's a smartass. He doesn't care what you think about him. He's not cocky about fighting and he doesn't pretend he can fight well. He prefers to throw insults back and forth. He thinks that physical fights are silly for him to get into. He does enjoy watching other people fight though. Nathan has an extremely short attention span and is not easily amused by anything for more than five minutes. Even his novel is fast paced and has barely any slow parts at all. His photography is all about action and getting exciting pictures. He doesn't take pictures of people standing around or trees and shit. Nathan is fast paced and so is his art. For poetry, he mostly writes limericks. Did I mention his poetry is awful? He loves to write poetry but he's no good at it. He knows he's not good at poetry so he's gone to purposely making it as awful as possible. Nathan is kind of conceited. He knows that he's a good looking kid and he thinks his accent is pretty fucking legit. Nathan didn't want to move to the USA but his grandmother was dying so the O'Keefe family moved here to take care of her.
Nathan O'Keefe doesn't really spend time with his family even though he cares about them. He's got two older sisters and one little brother. He'll take care of them and he's got a prejudice against anyone who dates his sisters. His parents aren't really important to him and don't have a huge impact on how he acts. Nathan is hilarious when he's drunk. He's fun to be with when he's wasted because ADHD, Tourettes, and alcohol make for an interesting combo. He doesn't smoke and he's actually quite the little virgin. He's not afraid to tell people that's he's a virgin and he's pretty open about being homosexual unless he's being a bastard and leading a girl on. Despite how all this makes him sound, he's not a badass and he's not really a jackass. Nathan is rude because he thinks he's hilarious and has no idea when to back the fuck off.
