Tommy had always been comfortable with being homosexual. What he had a problem with, was getting teased for it. He had a hard time getting over the bullies and he had a hard a time being the butt of cruel jokes, but he remained gay. He didn't want to change himself for someone else. Currently, he was totally smitten with Jackson Madison, whom was his old best friend and was now his boyfriend. He'd decided that Jackson was the person he was going to be with forever. He knew that Jackson and him were pretty much meant to be. Both set of parents approved of the match and even Nateface, Jackson's ex, approved. Tommy was totally in love with the other boy. He couldn't quite believe his luck with Jackson but he was happy that he got lucky. Tommy walked downstairs and saw Brit and Charlie. They looked like they wanted to get out and do something and since there was no school today (it was Saturday, yay!), Tommy could take them out for the day. He also wanted to talk to Roxy and see how she was feeling about that stupid gossip thread. Tommy couldn't believe a person could be so horrible and mean.
Tommy got himself some breakfast, which happened to be Reese's Puffs cereal. He ate it slowly and when he'd eaten quite a bit, he started making smiley faces out of the little pieces. His mom came and tousled his hair as he ate the last bite and he turned around on his seat and smiled. "Good morning mommy!" His mom smiled and replied, "Good morning sunshine. I have to go to work and so does dad, so you're on your own today, okay? Make sure you get your chores and any homework you have done." Tommy nodded and his mom and dad disappeared out the door within the hour. He went upstairs and cleaned his bedroom, still trying to decide what to do with his day. Then he went and fed the designated dogs he was supposed to feed, including Charlie and Brit, and then cleaned the kitchen spotless. He headed out to his car and searched through his backpack for homework. It turned out that he had some math and science homework. He brought it inside and got it done with Charlie sitting on his lap and Brit right next to him on the couch. He loved, loved, loved his two puppies. He basically considered them his children.
Tommy's homework was relatively easy and when he got it done, he replaced it in his backpack and then put it back in his car. Tommy was now free to do whatever he wanted to do. He could hang out with Jackson, the boyfriend, but he was pretty sure that Jackson was with his older brother, Ian. Tommy had yet to meet Ian but he was kind of intimidated. He'd seen pictures of Ian and Ian looked like a big, scary jock kind of guy. Tommy didn't usually associate with those people because they were generally big meanies. Tommy decided to go to the beach with Brit and Charlie because they needed to get out and the beach was always a good place to go. He went upstairs and changed into his Mario swim shorts, a Mario t-shirt, a Mario hat, and yellow flip flops. He also grabbed his phone just in case he was needed. He grabbed a leash for Brit from the hanger in the closet full of dog stuff and then picked up Charlie, sticking the pocket beagle in the pocket of his swim shorts. Brit could walk on her own. He leashed Brit and then headed out the door.
Tommy decided to walk to the beach because he lived relatively close. It was only a fifteen minute walk and plus, Brit had a lot of energy. It was kind of crazy. Brit honestly reminded Tommy of Nateface but she wasn't crude... She was actually quite the polite little puppy. In fact, Brit was more like Brady Richardson than she was Nateface. Tommy made it to the beach, with Brit stil being super excited over the silliest things. He let her off the leash and threw a stick he found in the sand towards the water. Brit immediately followed in after it. Charlie started wriggling around so Tommy let him out and let him play in the sand. Tommy wasn't afraid of losing Charlie because the dog was always on his heels. Charlie had never, ever run away, not even in the house. Brit, on the other hand, Tommy had to watch. Brit brought the stick back all soaking wet and Tommy took it from her mouth after a minute of playing tug of war and threw it back in the ocean, further this time. Tommy let his eyes wander and he saw a familiar face, one of his closest friends, Roxanne Torres. It was an accidental friendship but Roxy and Tommy got along amazingly. He had met her through Dean.
Tommy ran across the sand and wrapped his arms in a friendly way around Roxy and then took a step back. "Hi Roxy! How you holding up?" He was kind of worried that the gossip post had gotten offensive. It had been quite rude. He was upset that the gossip person was a meanie. "Roxy, did you know that you're super cool and the gossip person is a complete and utter meanie?"

The last time Roxanne was at the beach was when Caine had broken up with her, it wasn’t a bad breakup or anything, that was just the most recent memory she had here. She needed a new memory, she wanted to forget about a lot of things in her past really, but she knew there was no point. All of those things made her the person she was today and to be honest, even though it wasn’t easy for her to grow accustomed to the way things were now, she knew it was about time. She had gone so long with hiding who she really was from everyone, she owed it to herself to be honest and feel what it felt like to be free and open about yourself. She had been happy about it all at first, especially since she had Alexa there holding her hand through it all, but now Alexa was gone and the gossip blog was still poking fun at her for being gay.
She needed to get away from the world though, she needed some time to herself, she knew that. She had been spending time with new people lately, afraid to face her friends after everything. She liked the new people she was hanging out with though, they were fun and accepted her for who she was. Those new people being people like kris, Tommy, Ariana, Alex, etc. She didn’t want to bother any of them right now though, in fact, she needed just some time to herself, away from her television shows and just time to gather her thoughts. She didn’t know how to react to the gossip blog, but either way, she just wished it would leave her alone. Since when did her sexuality matter so much? Was it really that big of a deal?
She sat on the sand by herself, a messenger bag sitting beside her and her eyes looking out at the water, just taking in the sound of the colliding waves. It was always so peaceful here at the beach, she always noted that, it was why she came here all the time whenever she felt like life was too hectic. She had her bikini underneath her white sundress, in case she felt the desire to get in the water. After a few minutes she stood up and walked a little further towards the water, deciding to just put her feet in for now, leaving her bag unattended, but knowing no one would steal it or anything. The water was cold, but it felt nice along with the sand between her toes. She wiggled her feet and smiled, she stepped back a bit when the waves started to get closer to her and that’s when someone had wrapped their arms around her and embraced her.
She wasn’t scared or startled, just a little caught off guard, but she instantly saw who it was. ”Tommy!” she exclaimed and hugged him back, relieved to see a familiar face. She was definitely not opposed to seeing him around here. ”Hey,” she said in a softer tone, ”I’m… okay,” she shrugged, unsure of how to really respond to that. She wasn’t sure how she was, really. She chuckled a bit at his words, he was too sweet, and just what she needed right now. Why on earth didn’t she call him to begin with? ”You’re sweet, thank you… yeah, I think the gossip dude just has a weird obsession with me,” she shrugged, trying not to dwell on the meanness of the mysterious person. ”I just wish my sexuality didn’t matter so much, I mean, I have enough to deal with right now…” she said referring to her recent break up with Alexa. ”Is it weird I’ve been hanging out with Alexa’s cousin a lot?” she asked, tilting her head a bit, she had been wondering that a lot, but wasn’t sure what to think of it. At first, she thought she just missed Alexa, but Kris was actually really fun and made Roxy feel pretty good about herself. She looked down and saw his dog, ”Oh my god, you brought your pups,” she smiled as she noticed the other one as well.

Tommy was proud to say that him and his four best friends had stayed out of the gossip posts so far. Truth be told, Tommy wasn't sure if he could handle being in the gossip post anyways. The person seemed to get overly mean and aggressive. The idea of being in that blast scared Tommy to death. He was proud of the people who put up with it on a regular basis, including Roxy. She seemed to be in it a lot and so did Caine. They were always in the gossip blasts and Tommy didn't understand it. Yes, Caine was sometimes a meanie but people were meanies to Caine... He really, truly didn't understand why Roxy was in the gossip blasts though. She minded her own business and she was just the cutest thing ever. Though she was older and stuff, she was still the cutest thing ever and Tommy wanted the gossip person to give him a real answer on why Roxy was so important. Roxy was having a hard enough time as it was... She didn't need to be in some stupid gossip post where everybody would be big meanies.
The gossip things just caused huge arguments where those people might otherwise be friends... He just didn't understand what was on the gossip person's agenda. He didn't understand what was going on there. Tommy figured it was an insecurity that the gossip person had and honestly, Tommy just wanted to be friends with the gossip person. He wanted to be that hidden person's friend because then maybe the gossip person wouldn't feel the need to be so mean to everybody else. It made him sad to see so many people freaking out and being so cruel to each other. Even the people that Tommy didn't necessarily get along with got his sympathy. He was scared to death of Liam Moore but he didn't want to see him getting flamed online. It was just so sad. His lip came out in a pouty face because he just didn't get it. Tommy could never see himself enjoying such an activity. It just caused anger, hatred, and it destroyed relationships.
Tommy grinned at Roxy and exclaimed back, "Roxy!" He was grinning really big. He loved being around Roxy and hanging out with her. She was just one of the coolest people he'd ever met. He didn't understand how anybody could hate her. "Well let's turn 'okay' into FANTASTICAL! Sound like a plan?" He smiled lightly. He needed to hang out with Roxy more often because she was just so cool. She was one of the people that made his day because her and him were similar. They were both gay, they were both kind of quieter, and they were both super sweet. She was like the yin to his yang pretty much. That's how Tommy described it. "Gossip person is just jealous that's all! What's not to be jealous of? You're so pretty and amazing and awesome!" Tommy hugged her in a bear hug, basically trying to squeeze her sadness right out of her. He loved hugs and he loved giving them. Tommy was the type of person who would give a hug to a complete stranger if it made them feel better. He was a very huggable person. Nateface described him as a really soft stuffed animal.
Tommy frowned at her next words and replied with words that he hoped would help her, "Well. To gossip person...Let's call him/her Hades! Hades brings up your sexuality constantly because fact of the matter, is some people are going to hate you for being a lesbian. Some people are going to ridicule you for it and tease you about it. So Hades here is putting it up in the open so that the bullies can easily flock to you. That's why it's so important to Hades. To me and everybody else who is your friend, we just don't care what you do and do not like! Like I could talk anyways, being gay and all. Seriously though, no matter who you love, you're always Roxy to me!" He hugged her again, not quite as tight, but still tight enough that she realized that she was very much loved. Tommy was upset that Alexa had left Roxy without warning. Alexa had given Roxy a lot of confidence but now she was on her own, other than Tommy of course.
Tommy shook his head and asked, "Why would that be weird?" He grinned and then went on to say, "If you do anything weird, I'm just downright insane. Just putting that out there." He smiled lightly. It was true though. He didn't see Roxy playing Blue's Clues or dressing up in wolf pajamas. Tommy also didn't see Roxy running around with animal hats. He was weird and he knew it. He didn't go around flaunting the fact like Nateface but he had accepted that he was quite the little oddball a long time ago. Jax loved him for it and that was really all that mattered to Tommy. "Yeah! They needed to get out of the house."

Roxanne had to admit, over the past few weeks, she had grown closer to Tommy, he had walked into her life just when she needed him to. He was the perfect addition to her life; he was sweet, funny, goofy, and supportive. She had never really been close with boys before, only because she was so used to them trying to get in her pants, which obviously made her really uncomfortable, especially since she was nowhere interested, but had to pretend like she kind of was. Tommy wasn’t like that though, plus, she had learned how to just be herself recently, no matter what. He was also one of her brother’s best friends, so that was a plus as well. She wondered if Dean would find it weird that she was hanging out with one of his best friends, but the thought didn’t last long, because she knew he wouldn’t.
She couldn’t help but chuckle at his words, he was just this little ball of energy and she loved it, she knew he wasn’t always like that, especially around strangers. She remembered when she first met him, he was quiet as a mouse, but once he was comfortable with you, he was completely different. She liked that about him though, because she was the exact same way. They really were the living proof of the expression ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. She nodded, ”that sounds like an amazing plan,” she agreed smiling lightly. She blushed a little at his words, she was never used to getting compliments, ever. It wasn’t that she was insecure, she was just… unconvinced. ”Stop it,” she nudged him playfully, he really was great to have around, he knew just what to say to make you smile and feel good about yourself.
She looked over at him as he spoke on his take of the mysterious gossip blogger, who was now apparently named ‘Hades’. She pouted a bit, ”I know Hades is like… bad, but I love him on Hercules” she chuckled, she knew she was being a dork and was going beside the point, but she had to just make that clear. She smiled at his words, ”I know, I just… it was hard enough coming out and it only makes it harder… being out, you know?” sighs, but knows that all gay people deal with it. ”no one has bullied me, thank god, but… I’d rather not be talked about and labeled as ‘the lesbian cheerleader’” she rolled her eyes, she touched his shoulder gently, ”thank you, I appreciate that. Why weren’t we friends sooner? I could have used a wise boy like you about two years ago,” she chuckled.
She smiled as he hugged her again, only because she was about to hug him again anyways, he was just huggable. ”don’t take this the wrong way, but you seem like you’d be an amazing cuddler. If I ever need a good cuddle, can I call you?” she asked pulling away from the hug. She chuckled and scrounged up her face as she thought about what he said, she shrugged lightly, ”I don’t know… you have a point though,” she said, nodding, relieved to hear that it wasn’t weird to hang out with your exes cousin. ” they’re so cute,” she cooed as she looked at his puppies run around them, ”well I’m glad I ran into you, how are you doing these days? How are things with you and the misses?... misters?... I’m not sure which is right,” she chuckled.

Sometimes it was weird to be friends with best friends' family members but Tommy and Roxy just clicked. They'd kind of clicked from day one even though they were both shy when they'd first seen each other. Tommy was always shy around new people and he just couldn't help it. New people just kind of scared him half to death. It'd been easier to get to know Roxy because she was Dean's sister and Dean Torres happened to be one of Tommy's favorite people ever. Tommy was part of the furious five and though he still was confused as to how he got there, he was glad he was part of the group. Nateface scared him shitless, Jackson was his boyfriend and he loved the kid forever, Dean was pretty chill, and Brady was a cool kid. Nateface also happened to be one of the people that Tommy was growing closer to every single day.
The two of them were pretty good friends as it was but they weren't ever going to be as close as Jackson and Nateface was. Brady and Dean were the closest, Jackson and Nateface were closest, and... Tommy? He wasn't closest with anybody as far as the friend zone went. If you counted his boyfriend, Jackson, then he was closest with Jackson. He didn't have a bestest friend within the group. As much as he loved the furious five, Roxanne Torres was a welcome relief to it. Sometimes he just needed a break from the boys. "Oooo, I have an amazing plan. Don't I just feel awesome?" He teased. Tommy shook his head when she told him to stop it and he replied with, "Why? Compliments make the world all happy and sunny. Isn't that part of the amazing plan? Making the day fantastic? If I'm not allowed to compliment your gorgeousness, how am I supposed to make your day fantastical?!" Tommy's favorite hobby was peacemaking. He liked to make people feel good about themselves and he liked to end fights. Over the internet, Tommy was really damn good at stopping the fights. He always got the last word.
Tommy laughed at Roxy's words. This was why they got along so well, they were just complete dorks and it made him happy. They were pretty much one and the same as far as personalities went. "Fine...We'll call him...Billyjoebob. Sound good? Then we don't have to ruin your happiness with Hades and Billyjoebob is a very non-threatening name and soon enough, we'll just be laughing at Billyjoebob because he has the silliest name ever." Tommy understood where she was coming from. Sometimes it was hard being homosexual. In fact, it was usually a challenge. It was a surprise when it wasn't. It was something that a homosexual person needed to come to terms with quickly or they'd drown in depression. "Trust me, Foxy Roxy, I know the feeling. It's always gonna be hard being homosexual, especially now that you're not hiding it. Here's the deal though, if your friends that used to be your friends, are now hating on you because you've come out as homosexual, aren't really your friends at all. Bullies that tease you for being gay aren't going to let up but you've always got moral support. I'm here...And I'm sure Nateface will get up in people's faces for you... He's not afraid of who he is, even though he's not totally gay anymore. He's never cared what people thought and it looks like we just need practice." He smiled.
Tommy wanted to pull her into another hug but he didn't just yet. He just smiled and replied, "Because I wasn't here two years ago. I was rockin' Sydney, Australia." He grinned happily. He was so glad that he'd made friends with Roxy when he did. It seemed that she needed him at this point in her life and he couldn't say that he didn't need her. Tommy would probably depend on her for a long time to come, which was no big deal. He figured since Dean wasn't going anywhere, neither was Roxy. And even if she did decide to move across the country, Tommy could easily keep in contact with her. "You can cuddle with me anytime you want, ma'am. I like to cuddle!" Tommy nodded in agreement with her. He just loved that they agreed on almost anything. They had clicked so well and he just didn't understand how he'd gotten so close to her so quickly. He grinned and replied, "Both actually. You know that crazy red-headed girl named Stella? She tried to flirt with me the other day. That was sooooo awkward, especially since I'm taken. I now know how you felt when you were flirted on by guys. Dear God. It scared me half to death. With the misters, I'm currently tied to Jackson Madison. I love him so much. He's my cute fluffy tomato pet. He blushes so much and it makes me smile!"

Roxanne chuckled at his words, she loved how playful and energetic he was around people he was comfortable with. They had both grown to be comfortable around each other and embrace their goofiness, ”the awesomest” she added. ”Touche Mr.Fly,” she giggled, ”But honestly, just you being here is making my day amazing, I thought I didn’t want company, but you proved me wrong,” she nudged him playfully. ”You’re like my little secret ball of light I need to brighten my day when I’m feeling down, you know that? If only I could fit you in my pocket,” she giggled, it was true though, Tommy always knew how to make her smile, which was a very good thing, considering she didn’t really have a lot of people like that in her life. Before she came out, she was surrounded by superficial conceded females and cocky arrogant jocks, they were overall good people, but that just wasn’t her scene. And now, she had been meeting more people that actually clicked with her personality, lately it had been Tommy, Kris, and Derek, who were the only people she really wanted to be around, besides her brother of course.
”billyjoebob is legit,” she nodded in agreement and chuckled, ”damn that billyjoebob.” She looked at him as he gave her a little pep talk about living life as a homosexual, listening and taking in every one of his words. He had been out longer than she had and she trusted his judgment, she nodded slowly as he spoke. ”You’re right, I’m just not used to people judging me based off what I like, you know, but… you’re right…thanks,” she said giving a small smile, she chuckled a bit when she mentioned nateface, ”I think that boy just likes getting in peoples faces,” she joked. Nateface was insane, she liked the kid and he made her laugh, but she couldn’t be around him for too long, the boy could be rather terrifying at times, especially if you gave him sugar.
”Well I’m glad Australia finally let you go,” she stuck her tongue out at him playfully, ”Just to warn you, I’m not letting Velocity let you go,” she giggled. She smiled wider when he announced that he was up for a cuddle session whenever she wanted, ”Really?! Awesome! Yay, I obtained a cuddle buddy, I feel accomplished,” she nodded and laughed lightly. ”you can’t take that back mister… you said anytime,” she teased, just joking around with him. She nodded at his question, knowing who he was talking about, but not exactly knowing the girl. She let out a small laugh, ”Oh my god, you’re such a dork. Yeah, it is weird, right? Like… they seem so attracted to you… but you’re just sitting there like… ’no, Im not even remotely into your happy parts’” she giggled at her own choice of words. ”Imagine what I had to go through though, I’ve actually slept with a few boys,” she shook her head, shivering a bit at the thought.
She smiled over at him as he started to talk about his boyfriend, Jackson, seeing the light in his eyes just sparkle at the mere mention of the other boy. ”Aww, I know.. .you guys are so friggin cute, I want to find that,” she pouted. She raised an eyebrow as he announced his nickname for his boyfriend, but quickly understood the more he spoke. ”Aaw, you’re probably guilty of making him blush so much, huh?” she chuckled and put a strand of hair behind her ear. ”that’s awesome though, I’m so happy for you, you deserve some loving” she smiled at him, ”plus, I like Jackson for you, he’s a sweetie pie,” she nodded.
