lily couldn’t be any happier right now, she was at her new school, and she already liked it here. She could already feel that the vibe here was different than it was at her last school, sure, she missed her old friends, but she’d keep in touch with the ones closest to her. It was her first week here, in velocity, and the girl walked with a light hop in her step out of excitement. Just the day before she had seen a glee club poster on one of the bulletin boards, when she saw It, she nearly squealed. When she first found out she’d be moving the first thought that went to her head was ’I hope they have a glee club’. Singing and performing was her life, ever since she first saw her favorite movie, Titanic, and heard Celine Dion sing ‘My Heart Will Go On’, she’s wanted to be a professional singer. Random inspiration, I know, but that was Lily for you, she just wanted to have as much power, talent, and control over her voice as Celine Dion did.

It was almost time to go to her first Glee club meeting, she wasn’t sure if she had to audition or not, but either way she was prepared, she was always prepared when it came to performing. She looked at the time, she had about twenty minutes before the glee club meeting, but she was too excited to go do something else, so she was heading towards the classroom where the meeting was held. She had her mustache tote bag over her shoulder and she readjusted it as she turned the corner, she knew she was probably going to be early, but she didn’t care. She was at the music room in no time and it wasn’t a surprise that no one was in there yet, which meant she got to choose her seat first. She hoped people didn’t have their ‘usual seats’ because she’d feel bad if she was sitting in someone else’s seat.

She got comfortable in a seat in the front, she was never one to hide in the back, no matter what. She placed her bag down at the foot of the chair and stood up, looking around the room a bit. There was a piano, which instantly called out to her so she made her way to it and took a seat, letting her fingers brush pass a few of the keys. She loved playing the piano, it was the only instrument she knew how to play and the sound of it just pleased her. She looked around, as if to make sure no one was there, and then turned her attention back to the piano. She started to play ‘Paparazzi’ by Lady Gaga, it was one of her favorite songs to play and it was the song she’d be singing for Glee today, if they let her. She didn’t start singing yet, she was just playing the tune for now.

So....Maybe Brady was playing with his Toy Story Legos during math...Was that a bad thing? In his parents' eyes, it was a bad thing but he was having the time of his life. He wasn't listening to his teacher and Bullseye and Woody were in a heated battle against Zurg. Currently team awesome was losing against Zurg but Brady was the master of the plot - which meant obviously, Bullseye and Woody would win against the odds. His math teacher looked at him and asked, "Is that really the best idea, Mr. Richardson? Legos?" Brady didn't even notice until the whole class was staring at him. He looked up and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry sir... I'm just.... Bored?"

[/i] The class rolled their eyes and Brady just went back to his intense battle. The math teacher continued lecturing about whatever it was he was lecturing about. Brady was pretty sure he was talking about fractions or something... But Tommy could teach him how to do it later. Tommy was better at teaching anyways. Hell, Tommy was teaching Jax how to drive and now Tommy was helping Brady in math! The Richardson parents liked Tommy and Dean out of the four best friends. They weren't fond of Nateface and they weren't really sure about Jax yet... But they liked Tommy but only because Tommy was teaching Brady how to do his math, so now Brady Elliot Richardson was doing much better in math.

Just as Woody and Bullseye pulled off an amazing/impossible feat and defeated Zurg, the bell that ended the school day rang. Brady jumped up and knocked his neighbor's stuff off his desk. He turned a bright shade of red and said, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I'm just kind of a klutz!"[/b][/i] The kid just rolled his eyes and replied, "Just get out of my way, Brady." Brady Richardson frowned unhappily and muttered, "I said I was sorry..."[/b][/i] He put his stuff in his backpack and started to head outside when he remembered that he had glee club! He'd just started even though he'd been here his entire life. Brady just had been too embarrassed to consider singing in front of people. Ever since he'd been hanging around the furious five, he'd been learning to be more open to things, especially at the hands of Nateface. That kid was never embarrassed and nobody told that kid how he was supposed to be. Nateface just seemed...Very comfortable with how he was and nobody was going to change that kid's views. It made Brady want to be more confident with his skills. So he was getting popular on youtube now and he was more willing to sing for people. He had joined Glee to hopefully get over his stage fright.

Brady walked through the halls and made it to Glee Club early. He opened the door silently and saw a girl playing away on the piano...Paparazzi by Lady Gaga. He opened his mouth and began to sing, "Baby, there's no other superstar, you know that I'll be, papa-paparazzi, promise I'll be kind, but I won't stop, until that boy is mine, baby, you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me, papa-paparazzi, I'll be your girl, backstage at your show, velvet ropes and guitars, yeah, 'cause you know I'm starting, between the sets, eyeliner and all the rest, shadow is burnt, yellow dance in return, my lashes are dry, purple teardrops I cry."[/b][/i] On top of singing, he was harmonizing with his guitar which made a really cool sounding song. He hadn't ever seen this girl before and when they both stopped playing, he walked over and said, "I'm Brady. You play some awesome piano. I play piano too... Are you new? What's your name?"[/b][/i]

lily closed her eyes, letting the sound of the music flow through her mind as her fingers gently touched each key. She didn’t sing the beginning of the song, only because she wanted to listen to herself play for a bit before. It was one of her favorite songs to play on the piano and her being a perfectionist when it came to playing the piano, had to make sure there were no faults in her playing. ]”I’m your biggest fan…I’ll follow you until you love me… papa….paparazzi…”

[/i] she sang in a gentler tone than she would normally sing the song, she smiled a little to herself as she continued to play. Before she could open her mouth to continue to sing, someone else had chimed in, which made her look up to see who it was, but didn’t stop her from playing. She smiled lightly as she spotted the boy, his voice was definitely amazing, and as he continued, she started to recognize it a little bit. Every so often, she’d add her own vocals to his, heightening the flow of some of the songs lines.

He was playing the guitar as he sang, which definitely made the sound of the song even better. When he stopped singing, she took it as her cue to finish it off, so she did, ”It don’t have a price. Loving you is cherry pie… cause you know that baby, I, I’m your biggest fan. I’ll follow you until you love me… papa… paparazzi….”[/i] she finished and played the last note. She smiled wider as she rested her hands in her lap and turned her body a little to face him as he walked over. She was blushing a little, but that was only because she didn’t mean to meet anyone like that. She stood up and held out her hand, ”Nice to meet you, Brady! You’re a really good singer. Aw, thank you. I love the piano, “ she said touching her heart. ”You play great guitar, I’ve always wanted to learn how to play that. It’s my next instrument mission,” she giggled.

”Yeah, brand new! I’m Lily, I just moved here this past weekend,” she replied happily, her excitement obvious, ”I’m from Ohio,” she added, ”So how’s the glee club here? You’re in glee, right?” she asked, interested. ”is everyone as good a singer as you?” she asked, complimenting him as she gave him a look over. She definitely recognized him from somewhere, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. She knew it would bug her if she didn’t figure out why he looked so familiar, ”Why do I have this feeling like I know you from somewhere?” she asked, looking at him curiously, hoping he didn’t get weirded out by that question. The last thing she needed was to make one of the first people she’s met here uncomfortable.

Brady Elliot Richardson was a musically inclined person. Most people in Velocity were which surprised him a little. It seemed that every kid he met was musical in one or way another. He loved that about Velocity. Brady couldn't help but enjoy the musical aura surrounding him, especially when people were talented in their area. He'd already decided he wanted to work with this girl and maybe do some duets with her because she had the talent he was looking for. He was always looking for someone to become part of his dynamic duo and he'd decided that she had the talent for it. Brady could also see that she had the drive to do it too. Never before had these two worked together and yet they were making Paparazzi sound really awesome. In fact, they were working together like they'd been practicing the duet for months, when in reality both Brady and the girl were completely winging it. It was an amazing chance and opportunity. He couldn't help but be amazed/surprised. He liked her already, not that that was saying a lot. He liked everybody first glance other than jocks... But the fact that he thought she had talent with singing and piano was something. He didn't view many people as having a ton of raw talent that worked well with him. Lots of people had talent, just not talent that worked with his very well. She had the potential.

Brady decided that the two of them sounded awesome and now he wanted to get to know her a lot better. It was surprising that he'd never seen her before unless she was new... Or he was unobservant. Brady generally knew most people by face so if she'd been here for too long, he felt bad for not knowing her. He shook her hand and replied, "Nice to meet you too! You have a beautiful voice. I'm just surprised it worked so well with mine. It sounded like we had been practicing that for months when we were just winging it! It was awesome! Oh, and I really like piano too." After a breath, he continued, "Thanks! I can teach you if you want? I can play fiddle, piano, guitar, and right now, I'm learning the harp! I can definitely teach you guitar though!" He smiled happily. They had pretty similar interests and it made him happy. Brady was probably about to make a new friend that had the same aspirations and goals as him; it made him jittery! He just wanted to get to know her and create some songs already! If his assumption was correct, they'd be quite a hit.

"Well welcome to Velocity, Florida, Lily! I'm definitely glad to have you here! I've lived here my whole life so if you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them!" Brady was getting more and more excited by the minute. He just adored her already. "Ohio? That's far away! Why'd you move here?" He continued on to answer her questions, "Yeah I'm in Glee but it's my first day, ha! I've been here forever and I've always wanted to join but I have major stage fright so I never did join. Today's my first day as far as Glee goes! They're all pretty good though." He smiled happily. The kids that sang in glee club were good at singing; their voices just didn't work well with his. For whatever reason, they just didn't harmonize well even though Brady was good at singing, and so were they. "Some of them are on our level but for whatever reason, their voices just don't harmonize well with mine. Not sure why." He shrugged and saw her scrutinizing him. Would she recognize him from youtube? He was pretty popular on there and he liked to sing for youtube because he couldn't see who was watching. He grinned at her words and replied, "Youtube maybe? I go by B-Rad on there because my parents can't find out I'm on youtube..." They thought it was dangerous and a stupid idea. Plus they didn't want him goofing off on youtube when he could be studying.

Lily had been singing since she was a little girl, she was never shy of her voice, but she sometimes got nervous when she was singing in front of people. Her cheeks turned a little pink when he complimented her voice and she smile, ”Thank you. Oh my god, I know. That was amazing,” she agreed. It was a little odd that they did indeed sound like they had been practicing for months, but the good kind of odd. She never flowed so well vocally with someone in a song before, not without practice beforehand. She had to admit, the sound of their voices together really did sound great, so she made a mental note that she’d have to definitely sing with him again sometime. ”Really?! Wow, I only know piano… but I want to learn more. You can? Yes, I will definitely take you up on that offer,” she smiled wider, happy that she finally has someone to teach how to play the guitar. The boy obviously knew what he was doing with it, plus, he knew how to play plenty of other instruments.

’Yay’ she thought, she made a new friend, she always got excited when she met new people, especially people she automatically had some sort of connection with. ”Thanks, well so far I like it, it’s much bigger here than the town I grew up in, but i can’t wait to see what this city has to offer,” she said with a nod. ”Alright, you can be like… my little velocity insider,” she giggled, she didn’t have any questions yet, but if she did, she now knew who to go to when she needed answers. ”My dad got a better job opportunity out here, in Ohio, you don’t really make as much as you do in bigger cities,” she shrugged. She was surprised to hear that it was his first day in Glee as well, he sounded like he had been singing forever. ”really? Well maybe we can sing together today, so we can calm both of our nerves? I’m nervous too, especially since it’s a new school and all,” she said with a light smile. ”We can show them that we’re a force to be reckoned with,” she giggled at her own words.

She nodded as he told her about the other vocals in the club, happy to hear that the others were good as well. It wasn’t that she doubted that, she just wanted to know. She was shocked to hear that no one else harmonized well with his voice, but it had been so easy for her to do so. To be honest, she felt a little special at the moment, like there was something really there musically between them. Her thoughts were interrupted when he mentioned where she might know him from and it all started flashing before her eyes, her memory bank sending different songs she’s watched him sing on youtube. She nodded, ”yeah,” she pointed at him, ”that’s right, holy crap, you’re B-Rad” she said with a smile, she had been a subscriber to his videos since she first caught word of his cover songs. What were the odds that she’d move to the same exact city as him? ”I’m already a fan of yours,” she smiled, ”I would have never of guessed that you have stage fright,” she said honestly, ”but wow. I started posting videos of me singing because of you.”

Brady was, for the most part, a happy camper. He had to be so that the furious five didn't have to deal with two people that were down because Nateface was. He was doing pretty well with staying happy even though his parents shoved him down every chance they got. Brady knew that they loved him but they were so overly strict that they didn't know how to show it. They had his life planned out for him and to be honest, he didn't like their plan. He didn't wanna be a doctor, lawyer, or the president of the United States. "You're welcome! Anybody who disagrees is crazy, girl. It was definitely amazing! We need to work together from now on!" He winked her way. Brady was excited to work with her and make some new memories. He had a feeling they were going to be together all the time now. They'd found a mutual love for music and they flowed so beautifully. Brady was definitely excited to see what they came up with and see how they worked together in the future. He was already imagining the possibilities of what they would be able to accomplish together. "Awesome! Just let me know when and how often. You don't even have to pay me, I'll just teach you because I like new friends."

Brady Elliot Richardson liked Velocity a whole lot. It was big but not too big. Eventually, he hoped to see all the huge cities because he was fond of having that many people around. He was perfectly comfortable with having lots of people surrounding him because it meant a bigger opportunity to make friends. Brady had always easily made friends but he always wanted more. "Velocity has everything under the sun, good and bad. It's got sunshine, lots of musical people, crazy people, and drama. I like here a lot but at the same time, I can't wait to see the rest of the world... I want to see other places too." Brady laughed and replied, "I can't exactly be your insider but I can give you a tour. My best friend Nateface has this place down like the back of his hand. Then again, he gets out more than I do." He smiled kind of awkwardly. He was such an awkward person sometimes but a lot of people loved that about him for whatever reason. He didn't get it. "Awww. Don't be nervous. The people in here are pretty awesome. Plus you'll meet three of my four best friends. They're pretty awesome! And we're definitely a force to be reckoned with. We're gonna kick butt!"

Brady had always liked youtube. He'd always hoped to inspire other singers that were too shy to sing, to go ahead and show the world their voice. He subscribed to most all of his subscribers but it felt that he had so many subscribers that he couldn't keep up. Brady smiled over at her and replied, "That's me!" He looked over at her and smiled, "I'm glad you like my stuff. I'm hoping to get famous - I just need a partner-in-crime because I can be on stage just fine so long as I've got somebody up there with me... I suffer from major stage fright by myself." He did. That's why he couldn't do monologues in his theater class. Brady just could not get up on stage by himself. He didn't understand it and neither did the other theater/drama kids. It was terrifying. "Oh yeah? Wait.... I SUBSCRIBED TO YOU YESTERDAY!" He grinned and continued on to say, "I like your videos a lot actually! I watched all of them yesterday."

Lily nodded in agreement, ”I am not entirely opposed to that,” she smiled wide. It was nice to hear that someone liked and wanted to sing with her, it made her more confident in today’s glee meeting. He made her less nervous to perform now, which was definitely a plus. She had met a few people here already, but none were like Brady, and she really liked that. He seemed to have the same aspirations as her and she had always wanted to share that sort of thing with someone. ”wow, really? I have to at least give you something for it. Ooo do you like food? My mom’s a chef and she makes delicious like… everything, maybe I can bring you stuff from time to time…. Or have you over for dinner sometimes?” she shrugged a little, she really didn’t want him to teach her entirely for free, she’d feel like she was taking advantage, even if he did insist.

Lily listened to him talk about Velocity and smiled, she was excited to live in a bigger city. She felt like she had missed out on so much, hell, the people even dressed different here, especially the girls. ”the drama can stay away from me, but the rest sounds pretty awesome. I want to see other places too… maybe end up in a place like Hollywood,” she grinned, she had always wanted to end up there, where stars were born. ”Yeah we are!” she exclaimed in agreement, ”oh really? They’re all in glee? That’s awesome! Well if they’re anything like you, I’m sure I’ll love them,” she said happily. She was excited to meet the people he hung out with and to have more than one best friend? That was fantastic.

She smiled wider when he said he liked her videos, ”really? Thank you,” she blushed a little, it was refreshing to hear that he checked out her own videos. ”well, is there some sort of sign up process for that partner in crime position? We already sound pretty awesome together. Why not?” she gave a shrug, she hoped he’d say yes, but if he wanted to look elsewhere, she’d be okay with that too. ”we can sing together in glee today and… see the reaction we get?” she suggested.

Brady Elliot Richardson loved to sing. It was his passion. He also liked to play musical instruments. He was just so in tune with music. His parents hated it but Brady loved it. He loved music and it was basically his life. His music ran his life and he just couldn't help it. He'd much rather sing in front of his webcam than do that last math problem. Music was his passion. "Well that's a good thing! 'Cause I'm not opposed at all!" He grinned happily. Oh how he loved to make new friends, especially ones that shared the same aspirations. Jax was that way, and now Lily was too. Dean was more of an athlete but that was fine. Brady got along with most people so long as they didn't hate on his friends or hate on him. "Food is always a good reward. I love, love, love food. That's a good compromise in my opinion! I'm down! Thank you!"

Brady did notice that she dressed differently but it didn't bother him. Hell, he didn't even keep up with the latest fashions usually. He generally just threw things together, especially with his toy story stuff. He loved toy story more than he loved food, which was saying something for a teenage boy. Toy story was one of the reasons he had stayed away from drugs all day yesterday. He still had yet to tell his parents but he was going to... Soon. "The drama will never stay away. It doesn't stay away from anybody, even easygoing people! I got mixed up into some myself recently. Hollywood is where I want to end up! I'm hoping I can get there soon!" He grinned back. The more they found out about each other, the more they had in common. It was great. He didn't know whether Jax wanted to go to Hollywood. Mostly he assumed Jax wanted to just be a DJ.

"We're actually all really different. Jax is chill. Tommy's super, duper shy. Dean is the athlete in the group. And Nate... We'll he's just crazy. He'll probably scare you! But we all get along so I'm sure you'll be fine.' He smiled warmly. Brady had mentioned the whole partner-in-crime thing so that he could subtly ask if she was up for the job. They sounded awesome together and he was sure he'd never find anyone else that did. Brady grinned, "Count yourself as my partner-in-crime! But we'll definitely sing together today and see what kind of reaction we get, but I definitely want you as my partner-in-crime, sister."

Lily clapped her hands together in celebration as he accepted her side of the deal, ”Awesome! Well you’re very welcome,” she smiled. Her mother’s cooking was the best in her opinion and her mother loved cooking for more people, so she knew it wouldn’t be a problem. She listened to him speak about drama and frowned a bit, she really hoped she wouldn’t get caught up in any. She had never really been in any before, she always was just herself, and she was sweet to everyone. If someone didn’t want to talk to her, then she’d just go her merrily way. She never even caught herself in boy drama, she was never the boy crazy type and when a boy she liked did come around, it never got too serious. Plus, Lily didn’t have time for boys really, she was too into her potential music career.

Her eyes widened when he said Hollywood was where he wanted to end up, ”Really?! Me too!” she replied excited, ”that’s where people like us should be!” This kid was seriously awesome and he had the same dreams as her, she knew this was the start of a brand new amazing friendship. She listened as he spoke about his friends, describing how each was, ”wow, you guys seem like you have quite the variety! But that’s awesome, I can’t wait to meet them,” she grinned. A look of curiosity appeared on her face as he mentioned how his friend nate was, she had only come across one person who seemed a little off the rocket so far here. ”is there any chance he’s a loud blonde irish boy? I saw that boy earlier, he was running down the hallways yelling ‘Boobear, where are you!? Boobear, where are you?!’,” she said trying to sound like the stranger, but failing a little.

Lily smiled wide, happy to hear that he was letting her take the job as his partner in crime; this school was already starting out to be a good change for her. ”Yay!” she clapped again, obviously excited. ”I can’t wait,” she said then heard some voices and she looked up to the door. Students were starting to make their way in for Glee club, she looked at the clock, ”ah, time for glee club,” she said to Brady smiling and making her way back to where her bag was. She was nervous, but excited all at once. She watched as each student walked in, wondering what they sounded like. She loved hearing different vocalists sing. She also wondered what everyone would be like in general, they looked like they were a friendly bunch.
