Where Have You Been---TOMMY!!!!

Dean felt bad and it wasn't a sickness that made him feel bad either. No, he felt bad that he hadn't hung out with Tommy in forever. He felt so disconnected with his friend and it wasn't good. He realized that he had been so focused on Zoey and Brady that Tommy had kind of fell to the wayside. Though he was making strides to correct that. He had called up Tommy and asked him if he wanted to hang out and possibly go grab some lunch, just the two of them. It would give them a chance to catch up.

After showering, he got dressed quickly. It never really took Dean long to get ready. He usually just grabbed clothes out of his closet and called it good. He put on his shoes and grabbed his phone off his dresser, smiling lightly at the case that his sister had given him. He checked the time and noticed that it was almost time to meet Tommy at the diner they had agreed upon. He quickly made his way downstairs and said a quick good bye to his parents, taking the keys that his dad offered him. Why not drive?

Dean smiled lightly at headed outside and to the car. He pulled out of his driveway and made his way down the street. The drive to the diner was short and he found a spot easily to park the car. He pulled out his phone and saw that he was five minutes early. He wondered for a minute if Tommy would be there already but then nodded lightly to himself. Tommy always seemed to show up to places early. He got out of the car and locked it before heading inside the diner, looking around to try and spot his friend.

Thomas Adrian Fly was scared to be alone. He'd become more malicious on video games and he was entering a depressed state. He figured it was just from all the trauma but he didn't know how to handle it. Jackson kept him from hyperventilating on most occasions but now that Jackson wasn't here for a day, maybe two, what was he supposed to do? Nightmares would surely come and he'd be alone to deal with it. Jax had only held him for hours on end in the middle of the night, trying to soothe him. Nightmares plagued him. Any time he went back to the thought of his kidnappers, he went into a dazed state where he couldn't hear anything. Jackson had to shake him to get his attention back to the present. Tommy felt very insecure and he was pretty damn sure he was losing himself. The only person he'd talk about it with was Jackson and probably Mikey, but Mikey wasn't around as of late. It was fine. Not everybody could deal with his baggage that he had recently acquired... Or maybe Mikey was just busy. Either way, Tommy wasn't offended.

Today, Tommy was supposed to hang out with Dean. He was supposed to leave his house without Jackson for once and he was terrified. He trusted Dean but he depended so much on Jackson. Jax was one of the main reasons that Tommy ever felt safe but it was supposed to be just Dean and him today. Jackson was giving him a ride and all but Tommy was still scared. Jackson was the only who could calm him down when he had a panic attack. Tommy's parents had tried. Nate had tried. Hell, when Nate had tried, they'd had to call Jackson to come over and chill him out. Not even Nate could do it. Tommy doubted that Dean could calm him down. He got dressed for the first time in days but he covered almost every part of his body. Yes, he'd been raped and now he didn't want to give anybody any reason to want that from him again, so he covered every inch of skin he could cover. He felt naked otherwise. Even now, with his neck uncovered, he was scared someone would take it the wrong way.

Jackson dropped him off at the diner where he was supposed to meet Dean. Jackson walked him across the street and into the diner. Sure, he was a little late, but Tommy felt he had every right to be late. He used to be early to everything, but not anymore. He was usually late because he was scared to leave. It took every ounce of his courage to leave. His knuckles were white and he was clinging to Jackson. They found Dean and Tommy hugged and kissed his boyfriend goodbye. The few feet he had to walk over to Dean terrified him but he knew Jackson would watch until he was sitting down. He sat down and looked back at Jackson, and saw him leave. Finally he turned his attention to Dean. "Hi Dean..."

Dean looked up as the bell above the diner chimed lightly as the door opened. He spotted Tommy walking in with Jax and smiled lightly, knowing that it was the only way that Tommy would feel comfortable after what happened. He slightly wondered if this was a bad idea, suggesting that they meet outside of Tommy' house. Then again, everyone told him that Tommy needed to get out. He couldn't just sit around in his room, shooting things on Halo. It was unhealthy. After talking with a few people, he decided that a diner might be the best place, especially this one were only locals that Tommy knew would be.

He smiled lightly at the pair and waved at Jackson. He knew that Jackson wouldn't go far in case Tommy needed him and he didn't mind. If it made Tommy feel comfortable, that is all that matter to Dean. He wanted to make sure that his friend was okay. He had heard about the panic attacks that Tommy had been suffering from. He knew that no one besides Jax could calm him down. People have tried before and it never seemed to work. They had all had to call Jackson eventually. In fact, he already had Jackson on speed dial as well in case Tommy experienced one.

"Hey, Tommy," He said as he smiled at his friend. "How is it going?" He hoped that wasn't a stupid question to ask. He knew that Tommy was still scared of what happened to him and not feeling as confident as he once was. "I like your hat by the way. It's pretty nifty. I don't think I have seen you wear that one before." Out of all his friends, Tommy wore the best hats. They were all incredibly adorable and so Tommy. He could pull off any hat that he wore which was a rare thing to see.

Tommy hated the idea of leaving his house and he hated the idea of leaving his house without Jackson being there 24/7 but it was about time he hung out with Dean. He didn't want Dean to feel like Tommy didn't trust him, because he did, he just didn't like not having Jackson being there. He figured he’d either get over it or go home earlier than planned. Tommy didn’t want to do that to Dean, so he decided that he’d get over it. Sure, he might have a panic attack but he was going to do his best to have a good time, without Jackson having to be there... Or Mikey. He was going to have a good time with Dean if he could help it. Dean was one of his best friends and nothing was going to change that, and he trusted Dean with his life. Tommy just didn't know how to deal with being alone. Him and Dean weren't nearly as close as Tommy and Jackson were, or as close as Dean and Brady were... Or even Nate and Dean. Dean and Nate had become bestest friends over the whole Brady/Zoey/Dean drama and Brady was the only one who didn't see that. Nate was just as close to Dean as Brady was. Tommy, on the other hand? Not even close. Tommy was close to Nate, Mikey, and Jax.

Thomas Adrian Fly didn't want to have a panic attack. He just wanted to have a good time, eat some food, and get his mind away from Halo. As much as he enjoyed Halo, he knew it was hurting him more than it was helping him. He got vengeful thoughts whenever he played that game and Tommy wasn't a normally angry person. In fact, Tommy was the complete opposite. So much had changed inside the boy ever since the incident. He wasn't the same kid anymore. He was untrusting now. He didn't want to meet new people anymore because all were a potential enemy. He was angrier than he was before and all of his confidence had gone down the drain. Tommy had become a shell of his former self and he wasn't sure how to repair the damage. There had been so much trauma and all of that was between him and Jax. Tommy wasn't sure if Jax talked to anybody else about all the stuff that had actually gone on, but Tommy dearly hoped not... He didn't want anybody else to know that he'd been raped by some girl that his kidnappers had invited. Tommy just hoped Jackson had kept it between the two of them, not anybody else.

"I'm surviving, barely. How are you?" Tommy smiled lightly back. He wanted Dean to know that he was trying. He was trying to forget that this was probably the most terrified he'd been in a long ass time. He wanted to just go back to his room and go back to shooting things on Halo. He wanted to watch movies and cuddle with Jackson. Maybe he could just have a movie night with all of Heaven's Seven, then he could still talk to all his friends and be in his bedroom: the best of both worlds. Tommy adjusted his new hat and smiled widely when Dean complimented it. Nate had given it to him as a gift. "Thanks! Nate bought it for me. It's brand new, that's why. I thought maybe it would be a good change from wearing my animal hats." Tommyboo smiled and then moved seats so that he was sitting next to Dean. He sat closer to Dean than he used to but it made him feel secure to sit closer to the athletic/muscular best friend of the group. He figured the closer he sat next to Dean, the safer he would be from enemies. His eyes scanned the diner, looking for a threat and when he saw none as of so far, he looked over at Dean, "Have you ordered any food yet?"

Dean smiled at Tommy as he began to speak. While the two weren't super close, they were still close and Dean considered Tommy one of his best friends, so he knew that he was making an effort. He knew that all of this was hard for Tommy, especially being in public away from Jackson. Still, he was grateful that his friend trusted him at least enough to be out in public alone with him, even if it was unsure how long it would last. It was a start after all and at this point, that is all that could really be asked.

He smiled lightly at Tommy when he said that he was surviving. "Well, that is a start," He replied and then shrugged. "I have been okay. I have been spending a lot of time with Zoey. I feel like I am neglecting the rest of you guys though." It was the honest truth though. While he loved Zoey, he felt like he was spending a lot of time with her and not enough with his other friends. Sure everyone seemed okay with it, but he also missed the rest of Heaven's Seven.

Dean listened as Tommy explained the story behind the hat and smiled again. "Well, it's a nice hat. I like it. Though your animal hats are pretty awesome too. But this one suits you as well." When Tommy stood up, Dean was worried for a split second that he was going to leave, but smiled when he instead sat down next to him. He wondered if he should scoot over a little to allow him to have more room, but shook the thought off, knowing that this probably made him feel safer. He shook his head at his friends question. "Nope, not yet. I only got here a few minutes before you did and decided to wait," He told him.
