it was pretty late. that and he had nothing else to do. living on his own was what he had wanted, but he barely had enough for this place. even his foster parents vowed to help. he sure as hell didn’t want it, his fierce need to stay independent kicking in. if he could, he could run away..but he didn’t have the money. he didn’t like this town that much and wasn’t sure on why he stayed, other than convincing himself it was because he had no means of living otherwise. sighing heavily. he sat on the edge of his bed, toying with his hair. it was alot shorter than it used to be for some reason, he thought it would be nice for a change. that and it took forever to sort in the morning, so this was the perfect solution.
yawning, he stood up for a second, glancing down at his guitar he felt the need to play, write even. he was rather bored and he’d much rather do that than coursework. for one he certainly was not in the mood to get buried underneath some boring books, that was never his forte and would perhaps never be. he took the guitar in his hands as he started to strum a few chords, deep his brow furrowed in concentration.
after a few minutes he gave up, pushing it one side. eh barely think , being stuck behind the same four walls. with that, he felt the need to venture out, even if for a short while. he grabbed his journal from the side and a pen, as well as his guitar, putting it in his case and heading out the door. he needed inspiration, or rather..anywhere that was away from here. strapping the case to his back, he headed outside, feeling the cool night air hit like a ton of bricks. yawning, he wondered just where to head. already...everywhere seemed pretty quiet then granted, it was almost midnight he had reckoned, as he hadn't bothered to check the time.
his little night walk took him quite far away from his small apartment , but not so far away he didn’t know where he was going. he soon stopped at the local park that was, unsurprisingly, deserted at this hour. he soon found a spot to just sit and play, granted it was near a streetlight so he could still see what he was doing. he hummed a few chords under his breath as he scribbled down lyrics, waiting for some inspiration to kick in.

Evolution was inevitable and Pandora Alistar knew that better than anyone else. She wasn’t born as strange as she seemingly was now, however as she swiftly remained unseen by the night’s shadows, she watched her former friend venture onward towards the local park. There was something entrancing about the way he was, perhaps it was the fiery rebellion that coursed through his veins. Regardless, she felt absolutely pathetic literally tracking the male down so late at night (especially when she hadn’t talked to him in a few years). It was bound to get awkward if she was caught, but she just couldn't help herself. Caleb was a necessity in her life. She'd suffered enough during the period where they were separated and she refused to brave a moment longer.
It wasn’t that she was in love with the guy or anything because…as far as she knew, she wasn’t. She couldn’t even define love to begin with and if she was certain of one thing, it was that Caleb wasn’t the kind of person most likely to commit to anyone. She wouldn’t be an exception to this and accepting that was the first step to getting even closer to the man with dark hair. She stumbled ungracefully after a few minutes while she walked to keep his silhouette in her eye sight, successfully saving herself from scraping her visible knees on the concrete beneath her feet. No bruises, no blood, she thought harshly to herself when she picked up her pace even more.
Not today...any day but today. Not when he could be watching too.
She hated being embarrassed; completely loathed it with everything she was today. Moving her fingers through her long and obviously dyed platinum blonde strands of hair, she narrowed her blue eyes curiously and smiled adoringly at the sight of Caleb strumming his beloved guitar near a streetlight. She never did get the opportunity to learn how to play an instrument. She blamed that dream never being granted on her parents, given the stress they placed upon her shoulders about an actual career in this world. She was allowed to sing but not allowed to claim the stage as her own. That was why she was back in Florida to begin with, among…other stalkerish things.
So what? She was worried about him. She hadn’t talked to Caleb in so long and she just didn’t want to believe that he was fine without her. She didn’t want to believe that because she wasn’t okay without him in her life, and for the time they did recently spend apart, all she had to remember him by was his overall look in general. The darker eyes? Now she wore them proudly too. Looking in the mirror to see something so familiar every day was a surge of relief and Pandora couldn’t give that up. She wasn’t strong enough to, if you can believe such a silly thing.
As an artist, it felt wrong not to pursue your best kind of muse; and for the taller girl proceeding to watch the man nearby, it was him and him alone. She went to adjust herself from where she was trying to remain unseen, but the unnatural height her shoes provided her sent Pandora tumbling down onto the ground with a rather loud thud. She also gasped in a squeaky kind of way, which didn't help conceal her identity or position at all. She swallowed hard in her throat and immediately turned her focus to Caleb, who could see her now if he were to glance up from his instrument. Could things get any worse?
notes;; hiii! i'm excited and i hope this is okay <33 pandora stalking him down though, aw. she caressss.
