Roxanne woke up this morning with a bright smile on her face, she had been really happy lately, thanks to moving up a grade and being in a secure and healthy relationship. She felt like her long journey to this day was well worth the wait, she had never been happier in her life and she was enjoying every minute of it. Today was Sunday, a day of relaxation or so that’s how Roxy viewed it. It was her lazy day, the day she sat in her pajama shorts or pants, ate a big bowl of cereal or a big bag of chips and had a marathon of one of her favorite shows. Today’s show of the day? The Walking Dead. She was more than obsessed with this show and anyone that knew her was well aware of that, the girl was a total nut when it came to zombies in general.
Here she was, sitting in her family’s living room, curled up in her blanket as she watched the episodes on Netflix. She had her cell phone nearby; she had been texting her girlfriend for a bit, just wondering what she was up to and what not. Roxy was never the clingy type, no matter how much she liked someone, but she liked the casual conversation here and there when they weren’t together. She placed her cell on the coffee table and leant back as her attention went back to the show before her. This show made her so happy, she could seriously just watch each episode over and over again. She thought she was alone in the house, that or her brother Dean was still in his bed room, she wasn’t sure. She hadn’t spoken to him in felt like a while, both just seemed so caught up in their own lives, they hadn’t had much time to just sit down and have some sibling time, which definitely saddened her. She felt like she had to hear from the gossip blog nowadays to hear an update about him.

It was Sunday and Dean couldn't be happier. He was officially dating the girl of his dreams and his best friend was back to his old self. Things were going good for him. Not to mention the fact that it was finally summer. That meant he had all the time in the world to relax and hang out with his girlfriend and best friend.
He looked around him and he continued to jog back to his house. While it was summer vacation, that didn't mean that he could slack off on his sports. He was going to be a junior this year and if he wanted a chance at captain, he needed to stay in shape. Even if he had to get up early, he always insisted on running in the mornings. It was always so much cooler at this time of day.
Finally, Dean made it back to his house. His breathing was ragged as he opened the front door and peeled off his hoodie. He placed it onto the hook and walked into the living room, seeing his sister sitting on the couch watching The Walking Dead. He loved this show.
He walked over to the couch and plopped down next to her sister. "Hey sistah!" He said and smiled at her. He felt a little bad at the realization that it had been a while since it had just been his sister and him. It seemed that lately they had not been able to hang out like they used to, just the two of them. He had been so caught up with Brady, Zoey, and the rest of Heaven's Seven that he felt like he had been neglecting his own sister. He didn't even really know what was going on in her life at the moment. "How have you been?"

Roxanne’s eyes remained glued to the television, this show was always so intense, and you never knew when a walker would pop out. Hell, characters were dying randomly as well, and she could only hope that her favorite would never get killed off. She was so into the show, she didn’t even hear the front door open. She had already seen this episode two times before, but it still always kept her on her feet, even if she already knew what was going to happen next. She noticed someone join her and in the sense of mood she was in now, if she had a weapon, she probably would have used it, but that’s what the Walking Dead did to her sometimes.
She looked over and saw that her brother had joined her and chuckled, ”you can’t just sneak up on people when they’re watching intense shows. I could have killed you, you know?” she joked and smiled at him. She grabbed the remote and turned down her show a little bit, she didn’t have to pause it; both of them had already seen this episode and knew what was happening anyways. ”Hey though, stranger”, she teased as she lightly nudged him, ”feels like forever since I’ve gotten to see you. is instant messaging the only way I get to talk to you now?” She was just messing with him though, she liked that they were finally alone together.
Roxy gave a light shrug,”I’m great actually!” she exclaimed, ”Oh my god, Dean… I got to go to prom this year, you know, since Kris is a senior, it was soooo much fun. I wore a cute little fancy dress too. I’m glad it’s summer though, I get to spend all the time I want with her before she starts college,” she pouted a bit, ”I’m gonna miss her”. She knew she’d still see Kris, but it was going to be different and she was just getting used to having Kris around so much. She was just glad that Kris wasn’t going to college far away, which only made her feel worse because her own dream was to attend Julliard which was states away. ”How about you? How’ve you been? I heard about you and Zoey, congrats!” she smiled, ”How’s that going?” she asked interested.

Dean smirked lightly at his sister when she lightly scolded him for startling people when watching intense shows. He couldn't help but laugh when she said that she could have killed him. He looked around her for a moment before turing his attention back to her. "What would you have killed me with, Rox? A throw pillow?" He smiled at her again. He had missed sharing banter with his sister. "But hey." He shrugged gently at her question. "I have been a busy fellow, sis. Just as you have been a busy bee yourself."
He couldn't help but smile at his sister as she mentioned how she was doing. He was honestly excited for her. "You got to go to prom? How was that? Did you have fun?" He smiled lightly at her for a moment before nodding. "It will be okay. You and Kris are perfect for each other. You will stay together even through college."
Dean shrugged lightly at her question, trying to keep his excitement at bay. "First of all, I have been good. Brady is finally back to his happy old self so life's been good," He told her. As he thought about Zoey though, he couldn't help the smile that immediately grew on his face as he thought about her. God, how he loved that girl. "Thanks. And can I just say that it has been going fantastic? God, Rox, she is amazing. There aren't even words to explain it. I love her so much, Rox." He wondered if love was too strong of a word to use, especially given the fact that they had just started dating. He shrugged the thought off through. They had known each other their whole lives. It would be bad if he didn't love her by now.

Roxanne gave a light shrug as she laughed lightly at his words, ”hey, pillows can be used for evil too,” she teased playfully. She loved her relationship with her brother, it was never bad, and they didn’t even have most of that sibling rivalry that most siblings had. Throughout her entire life, Dean had always been the one person that never changed and was always there for her. He never judged and when she first realized she was gay, she was one of the first people she told, even though he had already known from his own assumptions. But she loved him for not calling her out on it before she was even aware of it, he was just the best little brother anyone could really ask for and she was just happy that she was lucky enough to get him as hers.
She nodded in agreement, he was right, they both had gotten much busier since their lives started to pick up and they both got into relationships. ”I know, we fail. We should like plan a day every week to like go to lunch or just hangout for a few hours,” she shrugged, ”brothah, sistah time, ya know?”, she suggested. ”especially since its summer, maybe we can go on like… a double date type thing with our girlfriends?” she suggested as the idea came to her head, it was weird saying ’our girlfriends’, she just wasn’t so used to being so casual with it still, especially with her brother. She never got to talk to him too much about her new relationship, but he was well aware of it. ”Have you gotten to meet Kris, yet?” she asked, tilting her head a bit, not even remembering if they knew each other.
She twisted her body so that it was facing him a bit more and nodded excitedly, ”Yes, it was sooo much fun! I can’t wait for my prom, I made Kris promise to go with me to mines even if she’s gonna be a college girl,” she smiled widely. Kris truly did make her beyond happy, Roxy couldn’t even remember being this happy before. She was in a secure and exciting relationship, with someone she didn’t even expect to fall so easily for. ”Awww, thank you. that means a lot, I really do like her, a lot a lot,” she nodded. She smiled when he mentioned that Brady was back to his old self, she knew they were having issues with recent activities, plus she saw the gossip blog about it all and all the arguing that happened afterwards. ”Really? That’s awesome! I miss him, you need to invite him over more again,” she said happily. She loved all of her brothers friends really, she got along with them all. Nate was a little scary sometimes, but he was tolerable in smaller doses.
She noticed her brother’s face light up really quickly and the smile on his face grew its widest, which made her giggle a little. She loved how much happier he seemed, especially since he finally got the girl he’s always wanted. She was truly happy for him and she couldn’t see her brother with anyone else, but Zoey. ”That’s great! I’m soo happy for you two, you guys are really cute. Brady’s cool with it and everything? Love?” she rose a brow, but she remained smiling. She had never felt love before, nor did she even know what it felt like. She could tell her brother really was in love with Zoey, he always had been. When she was in love, would she just know? ”How do you know when you love someone?” she asked him seriously.

Dean looked over at his sister and laughed lightly. He shrugged gently at her before giving her a small nod. "I guess you do have a point. They can be used for evil if you want them to be." He smiled at his sister again. He really enjoyed the relationship her had with her. Even though they were a year apart, they were pretty close. There was never really that sibling rivalry between them unless it was in friendly competition. They could pretty much talk to each other about anything and everything. To him, she had always been more than his sister, but he also viewed her as one of his best friends. He was a little sad to think after this coming year she might be going off to college.
He laughed at her and nodded again. "We do fail, sister, severely too. Mom and dad would be so disappointed," He joked, shaking his head lightly. He smiled at her plan and nodded. "You know, I agree. We should set aside a day each week where we just hang out together and bond. And we could totally go on a double date. That would be fun." He shook his head lightly at her question. "I don't think that I have officially met her yet. I have heard a lot about her and know who she is though."
Dean listened to her talk about prom and couldn't help but smile lightly. He couldn't wait for his own prom next year. "It is weird tot think that you are actually a senior this year," He told her, "And that I am a junior. It seemed like only yesterday you were teasing me about being a freshman." He laughed lightly at the memory of his freshman year before he turned his attention back to his sister and then nodded. "Yeah. It is awesome. He is staying with Jax at the moment, but I am going to invite him to stay here for a few days so he can be closer to Zozo."
He grinned at his sister again. "Thanks, Rox. That means a lot to me," He said as he smiled at her again. Ever since people had found out about him and Zoey dating they always said how cute they were together. To be completely honest though, Dean agreed with them. They were really cute together. He nodded. "Yeah, Brady is fine with it. He told me that he was glad it was me with his sister and that we are cute together. He knows that I won't hurt her and I already gave him my permission to beat me up if I ever do."
Dean looked down for a moment before looking back up at Roxy and nodding. "Yeah, I love her. I always have," He said honestly as he smiled. He thought about her question for a minute. How did he know that he was in love with Zoey. After a moment, he shrugged lightly. "You just kinda know." He shrugged again. "It's almost like a light bulb goes off and all you can think about is that person. It's when you know all their flaws and imperfections, but they just make you like that person even more and still want to be with them." He paused slightly. "You know because you place their own happiness above all else and you would do anything for them no matter the consequences. It's when you think about the future and you can't picture an instance without them in it, by your side." He nodded slightly and looked at his sister."That's how you know." He knew that he probably sounded sappy and really corny, but it was true. He knew those were the reasons that he loved Zoey.

Roxanne chuckled and nodded in agreement, they did fail. Sometimes she couldn’t help but feel like it was only them two that lived in the house, mostly because Roxy wasn’t too close with her parents and she, herself, was always out anyways. The time she spent at home was probably sleeping or being a couch potato, she didn’t really stick around for family dinners or anything. It wasn’t that she didn’t like her parents, she just didn’t have that relationship that most teenagers did with their parents. ”kay, awesome, and we can take turns on picking what we do?” she added to her suggested plan for sibling time together. ”Yay! I’ll tell Kris and you can talk to Zoey about when they’re free to do it,” she nodded and smiled lightly. ”I want you two to meet. I think you both will get along really well. Plus, I want the final brother approval,” she laughed lightly.
She couldn’t help but grin wider as he spoke about them growing up so quickly, ”Oh my god I know,” she chuckled. ”I know. it’s so surreal,” she said taking a breath, she still couldn’t wrap her head around the idea either. This was going to be her last year in high school, and then it was going to be onto the real world. It scared the crap out of her what was before her, but she was excited all the same. ”I’m excited though, for everything,” she said with a nod, ”how does it feel to be an upperclassmen now?” she nudged his arm lightly. She listened to him talk about Brady and smiled, glad to hear that she’d be seeing her favorite curly headed boy soon. ”Oh yeah? That’d be cool, just as long as he doesn’t put one of my bra’s on his head again,” she laughed, shaking her head at the memory. Throughout all of the years of Brady and Dean being best friends, it had always felt like she had two crazy younger brothers.
Roxy nodded, ”anytime,” she gave a light shrug, she really did think him and Zoey were adorable. They had always been so cute with each other, she was still surprised that they hadn’t gotten together sooner. ”ha, well yay, I’m glad! At least its you and not some stranger with her, brady knows you’re a good guy,” she nodded happily. It was true, Dean was probably the best guy out there, but maybe she was just biased because he was her little brother. Either way, she was still going to believe that he was. ”You won’t hurt her,” she shook her head, knowing that he wouldn’t.
Roxy smiled in admiration at Dean’s words, she knew he was being honest and it was really endearing. She could definitely see it in his eyes that he was absolutely in love with Zoey and she was truly happy for him. ”That’s awesome, Dean. Not a lot of people can find that so soon in life, have you told her?” she asked, bringing her knees to her chest and hugging them a bit as he told her how one would know if they were in love or not. She smiled as he spoke, that feeling he spoke about just made her feel weird, but in a good way. She looked off, looking at nothing in particular and just took in his explanation. She blinked and stayed quiet for a moment, ”that sounds beautiful,” she said as she nibbled on her bottom lip.

Dean smiled at her and nodded. "We can take turns deciding what to do," He said in agreement. "And because it was your idea, I say that you should chose first. Though, we should probably decide on a day that works for both of us first." He laughed lightly before he nodded. "Yes. I will talk to Zoey and see when she is free to go on a double date. Then we can plan out where to go and everything." He nodded at her and smiled. "And yes, I have to give my brotherly approval. But I am sure that I will approve. From the way that you talk about her, it seems like you two really care for each other. And I am sure that I will get along with her too."
He nodded at her statements. "It is very surreal," He said in agreement. "And I am excited too. Though I don't know how I feel about being an upperclassmen this year. It seems like high school has been going so fast and now I have to actually start thinking about college." He sighed gently at the thought. He really wasn't ready to start thinking about that. Sure he knew some schools that he had always wanted to go to, mainly ones with good sport teams, but now he wasn't too sure.
Dean laughed lightly when Roxy said that Brady better not put her bra on his head again. "You have to admit that the first time he did it was freaking hysterical," He told her. He nodded at her statement. She was right of course. Brady did know that he was a good guy. "Yeah, I am a good guy." He knew that saying that made him sound cocky, but it was true. He had been told practically his whole life that he was a good guy. "And you're right. I am not going to hurt her. She means the world to me."
He smiled at her. "Thanks. I am glad that I found Zoey. The plus is that she was already one of my best friends." He smiled for a moment before he shook her head. "I haven't told her yet. Well not outright. I just think that it is too soon to tell her. We did only just start dating." He shrugged lightly, not completely sure. He smiled at her and nodded. "It's an awesome feeling."

Roxanne smiled as he agreed to her suggestion, ”sounds good to me, well since, we’re on summer vacation and I still don’t have a summer job yet,” she giggled, ”I’m free almost every day, how about Sundays though? Those were always my favorite.” It was true too, Sundays had always been her favorite, it was her lazy day, tis why she was so happy right now and in her pajamas practically glued to the couch. ”I can spare my couch potato day for you,” she joked and chuckled a bit. The girl knew she watched way too much television to begin with, but she didn’t care what people thought of her, at least not nowadays. The last half of her junior year had been quite insightful, she had learned a lot about herself and had grown more comfortable in her own skin, so she was much better at just being herself.
Roxy nodded, making a mental note to talk to Kris about the future double date with her brother and his girlfriend. ”Alrighty and yeah, I’m sure you will too, you’re seriously going to love her… she’s… unique and very… goofy,” she bit her lip in excitement at just the mere thought of her girlfriend. Kris really was one of a kind; she wasn’t like anyone else that Roxy had come across, she could only be glad that she had come into her life at just the right time. Roxy really did like the girl and she could feel herself falling faster each time she spent more time with her, it was kind of scary, but exciting all at once.
”It is!” she chuckled, ”I feel like it was just yesterday where I was poking fun at you for finally being a freshmen” she said laying her head on his shoulder gently. She missed this sibling comfort, ”Do you know what you wanna be when you grow up yet?” she asked as she played with the fabric of her pajama pants. She laughed at how cliché that question sounded, but she was actually quite serious about it. She knew her brother was athletic, but was it what he wanted to do with his life or was there something else he was interested in? They had never really had the conversation, though it was always obvious to what she wanted to do with her life. Dancing was her passion and it always would be, everyone knew that.
She rolled her eyes and laughed, ”Yeah, it was hilarious… but it wasn’t funny when he wrote ‘Roxy’s Boobs’ on it,” she shook her head at the memory. Boy, did those two amuse her so much when they were together and in the house. She smiled lightly as she looked at her brother nodding, she was glad that he didn’t turn out like most of the jocks did in their school. He was different and he always stuck to what he knew and believed in. She wasn’t so lucky when she first got in the popular crowd, in fact, she had fallen into the bitchiest and cattiest bunch of them all. She had never done or said what they did, but she still associated herself with them, and that was just as bad, right? Guilty by association? Lucky for her, she had managed to grow out of that scared state and had started to be more independent.
Roxy shrugged a bit, ”I guess you’re right. You don’t want to scare her away or anything…and when the moment is right to tell her, you’ll know,” she nodded and smiled, just happy to hear that her brother had found true love and happiness. It was weird how fast he was growing up, sure, he was only one year behind her but still, it felt so crazy. ”well, I’m glad you’re getting to experience that….hopefully I do too one day,” she said with a light sigh, she was never one to control everything going on in her head, so she wasn’t even sure if she’d know it when she felt that way about someone. To be honest, a part of her was holding back from Kris, a part she still wasn’t ready to face no matter how much she adored her girlfriend.

Dean laughed gently when his sister mentioned the fact that she still didn't have a summer job so was free every day. He shrugged at her. "Don't feel bad, sis. I don't have a summer job either. I don't know if I want one." When she suggested Sundays he thought for a minute before nodding slowly. "Sundays will work for me. Just not in the mornings. I run in the mornings." He might not be in school at the moment, but he still took his workouts seriously. He was adamant that he never missed his daily run as he needed to stay in shape.
"But you don't have to give up all your couch potato days. I watch just as many tv shows as you do." It was true. The Torres siblings were notorious around town for how much tv they watched. People always wondered how they could both stay so fit and still spend many hours in front of the tv set.
He smiled at her and nodded. He loved seeing his sister this happy. It made him happy for her. "I am sure that I will love her. Especially since she means so much to you," He told her honestly. Everyone that Roxy liked, he pretty much liked with only a few exceptions. He laughed lightly at his sister and nodded. "I think it was just yesterday that you were poking fun at me for finally being a freshman," He told her jokingly.
He wrapped his arm around his sister's shoulder when she placed her head on his shoulder. He sighed gently and shook his head at her question. "No. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up," He told her honestly. "As much as I love sports, I don't know if I see that in my future or not." He sighed gently as he leaned his head against the back of the couch. "But I don't know. It seems like my whole life, that is what I have constantly been pruned to do that I never really thought about what I actually wanted to do." He closed his eyes and shrugged gently. "I don't really know."
Dean couldn't help but laugh lightly at the memory. "Oh my. That was such a fun sleepover." He couldn't help but laugh gently at the memories that flooded his mind. Brady and him were known to cause trouble around the town. Everyone knew that when they were together, they should watch out as both of them were known to TP houses on occasion. "God, Brady and I have had some fun times. And have gotten into trouble quite a few times as well."
He smiled at her and nodded. "Exactly. Though, I don't know if she would get scared away. Apparently she's told Nate that she loves me too, but I don't know if Nate was just trying to make me feel better. I just don't want to take the chance yet." He gave a small shrug before he nodded. "And you are right. When the time is right. I will know it." He looked at his sister for a minute before nodding. "Don't worry, Roxy. You will experience it one day. I know it. You are too awesome not to." He smiled at her. He strongly believed that his sister would find love one day. She was too good of a person not to.

Roxanne looked over at her brother and smiled a little, ”You don’t need one,” she nudged him playfully. ”I do, I need to start saving up for the future,” she said nibbling on her bottom lip a little, ”I’ll get hired eventually, I have the entire summer to look for a job,” she nodded, giving herself the hope she knew she needed. She had been applying everywhere she could, Kris had even tried to help get her a job at the café she worked at with Jayden, but they weren’t hiring anymore. Roxy didn’t have a preference to where she should work, she just wanted to start making her own money and she really did want to start saving up, just in case she didn’t get the scholarship to Julliard. Even if she didn’t get it, she still wanted to apply to the school; it had always been her dream.
”Pfft, I’m still sleeping in the mornings, so that works out awesomely for me,” she chuckled, she was a bit of a lazy butt, but she did get her daily cardio. She practiced her dancing almost every day, plus she sometimes went to the gym with Lizzie or Ariel. She had been spending a lot more time with them since Beccah had fallen near the end of the last school year and the queen bee had graduated. Roxy wasn’t interested in following around another queen bee so she avoided people like Eva or Diana, she said hi to them in the hallways but nothing more. She stuck with Ariel and Lizzie, mostly because they treated each other like equals, plus they always had a good time together. She chuckled at her brothers words and nodded, ”I know and it doesn’t help that we recommend a new show to each other almost every week.
Roxanne smiled, Kris really did mean a lot to her, and she really believed that her brother would definitely approve. This was the first relationship that Roxy was actually extremely comfortable in. The one before, with Alexa, was a start, but Roxy was still afraid of being herself in public. But this time around? Roxy was 100% happy and more comfortable than she had ever felt. She smiled lightly when he put his arm around her, listening to his answer to her question. ”Well, the good thing is, you don’t really have to know. some people go into college undecided what their major is all the time,” she shrugged, ”you’re going to college, right?” she asked. ”I can see you either playing sports or… doing something that helps people,” she added, thinking of the several different career paths she could see him going towards.
Roxy nodded, ”yeah, you guys made me feel like I had two little brothers,” she chuckled, ”you guys are funny though.” She looked at Dean and rose her brows happily and nodded, ”well when you tell her, you better tell me what happens before I hear about it in the gossip blog,” she teased. She smiled lightly, ”thanks, I’ll try my best,” she gave a quick nod and looked back at the television, not really paying attention to it but just thinking. ”So what do you have planned for today?” she asked, not wanting to be in her head right now, so she tried to distract herself a bit.

Dean shrugged gently when his sister said that he didn't need a summer job. "I know that I don't need one," he told her, "But at the same time, sis, I can't just keep relying on mom and dad to give me money for my sport equipment needs or for my dates wit Zoey. And allowance money probably won't cover it all." He knew that his sports had gotten expensive over the years and while his parents insisted on buying it for him, he still felt bad. Granted, their parents were far from being broke, but that was besides the point. He looked at her and squeezed her shoulder gently. "And you will get hired. People in this town love you."
He laughed gently and nodded. "I know that you are still sleeping in the mornings. Hell, even mom and dad sleep later than I do. Unless they have an early meeting or something." He had always been an early riser so it wasn't that weird for him. No matter what time he went to bed, he always woke sometime between six and seven. He used to just lay in bed until his alarm went off, but after a while, he figured it was the perfect time to go for a run. He nodded at her statement. "Yeah, we should stop watching new shows." He knew that it wasn't going to happen, but he figured he could at least suggest it.
Dean sighed gently and nodded. He knew that his sister was right, but at the same time, he was a person that liked to have things planned out. He just didn't want to jump into the whole college thing not knowing what he wanted to do. "I know you are right," He told her. He smiled lightly at her for a minute and then shrugged. "And I do want to go to college. I am thinking about talking to Jude Walker about a possible internship at his company to see if I would like that." He shrugged again. "Who knows though, maybe I will become a coach and help influence young minds."
He laughed gently at her statement. "Well, Brady did pretty much live here anyways, so it wasn't hard to imagine that. He is pretty much family anyways," He told her and smiled lightly and glanced over at her. "And like Nate said, if Zoey and I ever got married, Brady would actually be related to this family." He knew it was too soon to even be thinking of marriage, especially since they just started dating and were still in high school. Still he couldn't help but entertain the thought slightly. He knew that he wanted Zoey to be his forever, though he still was uncertain of what the future would hold. "And don't worry, when I tell her, you will one of the first people I tell. I obviously have to tell Heaven's Seven first since Zoey and I might not be together if it wasn't for them."
After the Gossip Blog broke the news about Zoey and him before they had a chance to tell Brady, Brady had pretty much broken them up. If it wasn't for Nate's interference, he didn't know if they would still be dating at this point. He shrugged gently at her question. "I have nothing planned for the day. Jax is hanging out with Tommy, Nate with Mickey, and Brady with Zoey. So, I am flying solo today. What are your plans for the day?"

Roxanne listened and nodded lightly as he went over his personal expenses, he definitely had a point. ”Very true, well look at you, growing up and becoming a man already,” she chuckled. She really could see Dean growing up so fast, it was scary, she remembered when they were much smaller and just ran around causing chaos in the house. It didn’t help that they were only a year apart, so it was like their parents had double the work. She smiled lightly at him, ”Thanks, though I am curious to know what my first job would be,” she chuckled, ”its going to be something embarrassing watch, like… dressing up in a hot dog costume,” she joked. She doubted her first job would be that bad, but there was always that slight chance.
Roxy smiled, she didn’t know how Dean could wake up so early, he was crazy for it. Whenever she had to wake up for school, she would hit the snooze button like ten times before actually getting ready. But thank god for summer vacation, she could sleep in all she wanted, just the thought of all that beauty rest brought yet another smile to her face. She shook her head and laughed, ”Pfft, like that would ever happen… there are just too many amazing shows out there…and so little time to watch them all!” She knew only her brother would understand her couch potato qualities, mostly because he was the same way. They both watched way too much television, but they still went out and handled their business. Dean with sports and Roxy with her dancing, plus they both were in relationships.
Hearing her brother talk about his future relaxed her, she didn’t know why, but it did. It was nice to just talk with him finally after having a mini break from one another. ”Oh really? Sports Agency, right? You know the girl that was junior class president, Ariana, she’s interning there this summer. But she’s like in the legal department,” she shrugged, ”you should definitely ask about an internship… maybe you can like shadow him and see how being a sports agent is?” She could definitely see her brother sticking to the sports area, even if he didn’t want to actually play them for a living. ”I can definitely see you being a good coach too, you can even ask Coach Summers for help with that,” she suggested.
Roxy nodded in agreement, it was true, Brady was part of the family, always had been. She had always seen the curly headed boy as a younger brother, especially since he was always at their house and always attached to Dean. She tilted her head and chuckled, ”You’re right…ooo and then I’d finally have a little sister too,” she replied. She nodded, ”of course, I just wanna be one of the first,” she smiled, ”even if you have to leave a post it on my door with the news,” she chuckled. She loved hearing about her brother being in love; it was cute and really sweet to see. She liked seeing him happy and all starry-eyed, he deserved to feel that way.
Roxy was shocked that he had nothing to do, especially since he had such a big group of friends, but she was relieved because she, too, had nothing to do really. ”You’re looking at them,” she chuckled, gesturing that what she was doing at that moment, rewatching the Walking dead in her pajamas were all the plans she had for the day. ’It’s called lazy Sunday for a reason,” she chuckled, ”I really don’t have anything planned.” ”Kris is working on her photography portfolio… Ariel is M.I.A…and Lizzie has sort of been out of it, and I’m pretty sure she wants to be alone right now,” she shrugged, ”Do you want to do something? We can go apply for jobs at the mall? Ooo and maybe I can get Kris a gift or something… “ she suggested. WORDS: 662 TAGGED: Dean NOTES: (:

Dean couldn't help but laugh lightly at his sister as he shrugged his shoulders. "I wouldn't go that far. I still like to say that I am the happy medium. I am a kid at heart after all," He told her. He listened to her talk about how she was worried what her first job would be. He laughed when she told him it would be embarrassing to be in the hot dog costume. "I don't know, Rox. That might be fun. You get to dance around all day." He smiled at her for a moment. "But I am sure your first job won't be that bad. You are good with people."
He shook his head. He knew that his sister wouldn't go for it, nor would she believe that they would actually be able to stop watching TV. He gave her a nod and a small chuckle at her statement. "You are very right about that, sis. There are way too many good shows," He told her. He was honestly surprised how much TV those two could watch and still be able to keep up with their sports and with their social lives and other responsibilities. Sometimes he wondered how he could balance everything. Though he knew lately he hadn't been doing a very good job. At least balancing his friends and Zoey.
He nodded his head. "Yeah, at the Sports Agency," He said in confirmation, "And I didn't know she is interning there. I wonder how she went about getting that. I should talk to her about it." He smiled at her. "And that's why I want to intern there. To see how I would like that job when I graduate." He smiled at his sister. "Thanks, Rox. I was thinking about seeing if there was a job coaching little league or something this summer. You know, to see how I would like that before I talked to Coach Summers about it."
Dean laughed lightly at her reaction to his comment about Brady actually being a member of their family if Zoey and him got married. He knew that if he had mentioned that to anyone else, minus maybe the Furious Five, they would freak out on him and tell him that it was too soon to even be thinking of marriage. He nodded slightly though at his sister. "Yes, you would have the little sister you always wanted and won't have to dress me up and have tea parties with you anymore," He said with a laugh. He remember as kids, Roxy would always fix his hair, put him in a dress, and make him wear make up and have tea parties with her. It was almost like torture. Granted, she had subjected Brady to the same punishment if he was over too. "Post it on your door it is." He laughed lightly at the end of his statement to let her know he was only kidding. He knew that when he did tell Zoey that he loved her, he would tell his sister he told her in person.
He laughed lightly. "Lazy Sundays are the best," He said as he propped his feet up on the coffee table in front of him. He nodded at her explanation of what her friends were doing today. He had read the gossip blog about Aiden and, while he didn't know Lizzie he still felt bad for her. He shrugged gently. "We can do whatever you want, Sis. I am up for anything today."

Roxanne smiled lightly, ”you are, but you’re still making grown up decisions which I think is awesome and admirable; I wish I could be a kid forever. I want to find neverland and just live there with peter and the lost boys,” she pouted and laughed shortly after. She didn’t want to grow up and wasn’t looking forward to it either, even if she wanted to get out of high school already. She wasn’t ready to graduate and make that horrible decision of possibly leaving Velocity to go to Julliard, she wasn’t sure if she was ready for the heartache that would follow when she had to leave Kris. She never brought it up, hell, she was scared too, but she knew it was going to come and the more she went on without talking about it, the harder it was going to be when it actually happened.
She chuckled and shrugged, ”I guess you’re right, plus, you have to start somewhere,” she did want a job though, mostly because she wanted to start saving up for her own future. She knew being adult wasn’t easy and she knew she might not even get the scholarship to the school she wanted to go to, so she had to prepare herself for the tuition of the school, just in case. ”You should,” she nodded with a smile, ”ariana’s sweet too, so I’m sure she’ll help you out,” she shrugged. ”Aw, you teaching little league would be sooooo cute, do it please, and I want to come to the games if you do,” she laughed.
Roxy couldn’t help but chuckle at the memory of her dressing Dean up, ”exactly, plus, she’s a dancer too, I know I’ll love her to pieces,” she smiled. It didn’t bother her that he was already mentioning marriage, hell, she knew they’d get married when she first saw them together. It was hard not to see how cute they were together, but she was never one to get into anyone else’s business so she never really commented on it. It was nice to see it happen finally though; two of her favorite people in the world were finally together. She smiled lightly when he mentioned the post it on her door and nudged him lightly, chuckling. ”well then let’s get dressed and head to the mall,” she suggested as she stood up, ”you’re driving though,” she stuck her tongue out at him.
