The Party Don't Stop---Jason*

Diana could not wait for tonight. It was the first official party of the summer and she could not wait to go to it. She wanted to go out, let loose, and have some fun with her friends. She might even get a little buzzed and flirt with a few guys. It had been far too long since she had, had a boyfriend or even a boy toy. It was about time she spread her wings again.

She made her way to her bathroom and took a quick shower, after noticing that it was almost time for the party to start. While she was never actually on time for a party, as it was never cool to show up early, she didn't want to be too late to the party. Plus, she wanted to make sure that he outfit was perfect before she left.

Once she finished with her shower, she put on her robe and headed to the closet, deciding what to wear. It took her a good ten minutes before she finally settled on an outfit that she could approve of. She fixed her hair and did her make up before looking herself in her mirror. After a minute, she nodded slightly as she smiled. It would have to do.

Diana checked the time and noticed the party had started a little while ago. She smiled to herself and then headed out of her room and downstairs. She said good bye to her dad and headed out of the house. She was glad that the party wasn't that far away from her house and was only a short walk.

When she arrived, the party was already in full swing. She made her way to the bar, stopping to talk to a few people as she did so. She finally made it to the bar and got a drink. She immediately took a large sip and smiled as the alcohol hit her throat. It had been far to long since she had, had a drink and she couldn't have been happier.

Jason’s life had been pretty hectic lately, with everything going with his sister and his parents, sometime he wasn’t sure how he was able to handle it all. But thanks to his girlfriend, Eva, who he was happily in love with, he had been able to handle everything well enough. He wasn’t sure how he would have handled it alone, well, sure, Ryan was around, but it was different with Eva. He was finally a junior, he loved that he wouldn’t be considered an underclassmen anymore, or seen as young. His girlfriend, who was now a senior, didn’t have to be embarrassed because she was dating a stupid sophomore, which something he was always a little insecure about. He knew he was young and inexperienced, but even so, Eva accepted him just the way he was.

His sister was still feeling off, so again, they didn’t throw the usual party. They hadn’t been throwing them for the past few months, so it was up to other students to do so. Jason hadn’t attended too many of them because he was busy living his own life, but this weekend he wanted to. He wanted to go out, mingle, and just have a good time. He had told Eva that he was going to the party that night, but she wasn’t sure if she’d make it. She had said something about hanging out with Ariana, but either way, he knew he’d enjoy himself, he just wished his girlfriend would be there with him. He had went to the party with Aiden, but Aiden had separated with him as soon as they arrived, the boy was too focused on living the single life, apparently. Jason didn’t mind though, he said hi to a few people then made his way to where all the alcohol was. He made his way to it, grabbing a cup and making a heavily mixed drink. He took a sip and grinned widely, it was a bit bittersweet, but he knew it’d do the trick perfectly. He turned and nearly bumped into someone on accident, spilling a bit of his drink, ”Oh, I’m so sorry!” he said shocked and looked up at who it was. ”Diana, I’m so sorry, I didn’t get any on you, did i?” he asked, hoping he didn’t, but realized it had just missed her and landed on the floor. ”Sorry again, but hey, I haven’t seen you in forever.” he tilted his head and smiled, taking a sip of his drink, ”how’ve you been?”

Diana was having a good time so far. A better time then she had for the last few weeks of school where she felt like she would die of boredom. God, how she needed this time to go out and have some fun. It was well deserved if she did say so herself. After all the drama that happened with Beccah she could finally have some time to herself.

She was talking to a few of her friends at the makeshift bar when she felt someone bump into her. She spun around quickly, almost spilling some of her drink in the process, read to give the person a piece of her mind when she saw who it was and instead her anger disappeared and she smiled at him. She shook her head at his question. "You are good, Jason," She told him and smiled again.

While she wasn't incredibly close with Jason, he was still a friend of hers. In part because of Diana's friendship with his older sister Rebeccah. Even through they both ran in the same circle, they hadn't really been able to hang out together recently and she realized now that she missed that. She always seemed to have a good time with Jason.

"It's fine, Jason," Diana told him and smiled again, taking a sip of her drink. She laughed lightly at his statement and nodded. "It really has been forever since I've seen you last. I have been good lately. Just going with the flow." She shrugged gently. "What about you? How have you been? How is everything with everyone?" A part of her wondered if that was appropriate to ask, but she shrugged it off. She was friends with both the Walker siblings so it was a fair question wasn't it? She just hoped that he wouldn't get mad at her for asking it. She was just curious.

Jason could be so clumsy and non-observative at times and this was the result of those incidents. He was relieved that Diana didn’t get upset, but he knew if he would have gotten the beverage on her outfit, she would have probably gotten a little mad. He had never seen her mad directly at him before, but still; he knew how girls were with their cute outfits. ”wouldn’t want to ruin your… outfit,” he grinned as he checked her out a bit, ”you look nice, by the way.” he readjusted himself, making sure he didn’t bump into anyone else as he took a long sip of his strong drink. It had been awhile since he had drunk, so he knew he’d get buzzed quicker. ”it’s good to see you though!” he grinned happily, it was true, he had known Diana a long time and they usually saw each other more often.

He nodded, glad to hear that she was doing good. He was aware of her fight with Ariana and the fact that she had dated his best friend for a bit, but nothing had ever changed between he and Diana. They always had this small random connection, one they never really touched or explored. Plus, she was fun and she amused him for the most part. ”I’m good, for the most part, but I’m sure you know about my sisters problems and my parents’” shrugs, ”but I’m doing good, I have a new girlfriend now and things are going good,” he nodded. ”you here alone?” he asked, curious, taking another sip of his drink.
