I know you will anyway, but at least try and keep it to yourselves until this thingy's over with. OK, deep breath, prepare yourselves... My name is Juliet Katherine... No, wait, that's not the bad part. I mean, OK, it's not awesome, but it gets SO much worse. Please ignore the Shakespearean first names. Oh wait, actually, no, focus on them and maybe you won't laugh so much at this next part.... My surname, at least until I can change it.... Is Crampfurl. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Can we just move on please? You know, it's a good job I don't really get angry, isn't it? If I did, I'm guessing I still wouldn't be here. But I've always been blessed with a very long fuse. Or cursed, maybe, because people do try so to make me angry sometimes. Especially my brothers and sisters. Yeah, I have two older brothers and two older sisters. They've all moved away from home now, but they come back to visit me every so often, and I see Gerard nearly every day. I know I shouldn't say stuff like this, but he's my favourite older brother. He works at the gym, so I get free classes and stuff. Kick boxing's my favourite, but I also love spin class, and all the dancing ones. Street's pretty awesome, but my favourite has to be ballet. Typical, with a name like Juliet, right? Whatever, what else do you want to know? Well, I go to First Colonial, obviously, and I'm in sophomore year. That makes me sixteen and eleven months, not that I'm counting or anything. I can drive, but I have yet to acquire a car, so I pretty much just cadge lifts from my parents or my siblings, whoever's about at the time. Kinda sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? I'm hoping something special's coming for my seventeenth. Don't know why, but there's something in the air. I can feel it. That happens sometimes, and I usually turn out to be right. Sometimes I have dreams that come true too, but that's not very often. When I'm with my friends I guess I'm the typical teenage girl – we shop, watch movies, have parties, sleepovers, you know, that sort of thing? I'm not on my own very much really – my parents always like me to do things with them, and I've got to build up my extra-curriculars for college. Not that I know what I want to do yet. But I've got two more years to figure that out, right? I volunteer at the pound and the soup kitchen, I donate my old clothes to the thrift stores, and you know all the drives and stuff the school does through the year? Yeah, I'm usually somewhere in there. In fact, I'm there pretty much all the time. I like to help, I like to feel like I'm accomplishing something and making someone's life better. I think most of all though, silly as it may sound, I like being able to boss people around. That's one thing that kinda makes me think I might want to be a teacher. But whatever, that could change in a second. In fact, it does, pretty much every time I take a look at my generation. But then something or other distracts me or inspires me, so I'm never sad for long. And if I am, you know it's got to be pretty dang serious. And one more thing. I can not, repeat CAN NOT, live without my cell phone. That's why I always carry a spare battery pack.
