[atrb= border, 0, true] lucas tyler mccoy. steph. | PERSONALITY:
|
[/li][li] ATHLETIC -[/b] the boy loves his sports, but he doesn’t want it to be what he grows up to do. He’s good at football, lacrosse, and basketball. His dad urges him to work harder and sort of pushes him too hard sometimes, but he just deals with it, mostly because he doesn’t like seeing the wrath of his father. What Luke really wants to do with his life is become a writer, he writes as much as he can but its hard with his busy schedule and his father constantly pushing him to practice all the time, even if there isn’t a game coming up. No one know she’s a writer though, he keeps that to himself, though English teachers in his past have told him on multiple occasions that he’d be a great one someday.
[/li][li] AFFECTIONATE -[/b] when he’s intimate with someone and has true feelings for them, he can be really sweet and affectionate. He’s not a PDA type of person, but behind closed doors, its hard not to fall for this guy especially if he really likes you. he’s secretly a hopeless romantic and he does little things to show his appreciation for you. he’ll kiss your hand, the top of your head, randomly compliment you, give you a massage, etc.
[/li][li] CONVENTIONAL -[/b] he knows the way of the world and how things are supposed to be, or at least what is expected of him by his father’s rules and expectations. There’s a lot of him that he keeps hidden because he knows its “not right” or its frowned upon in today’s society, especially in high school. He tries to just stick to what he knows is right when it comes to fitting in and surrounding yourself with the right people, trying to stay with the jocks and living up to their stereotype expectations. He’s afraid to go outside of the box and be original (well, himself), he rather just go along with how the way works since its easier. It’s actually a reason why he tries to stay away from alcohol because when he drinks, the honesty bug likes to get a hold of him and he can never control his mouth or actions.
[/li][li] OBSERVANT -[/b] luke isn’t loud at all, he never really finds a reason to raise his voice at all, even if he’s ever mad. He’s mostly quiet unless he’s engaging in some sort of conversation. He likes to observe things and people, trying to get a good read on them. He’s very detailed oriented, but most writer’s are, he picks up on the little things and he’s mostly in his head just thinking. You’d probably be surprised by some of the things that go through his head, but mostly because he lets his imagination take its toll on his many wonders and thoughts.
[/li][li] GOOFY – [/b] yes, this boy has a dorky/goofy side to him. He can be playful and childish, but he knows when to relax, so he’s not annoying about it at all. He likes having a good time and making people laugh, even if it is over something stupid. He’s definitely a jokester and can be very witty with comebacks when he wants to be. You can always tell when he’s being sarcastic though, because he can’t help but smile afterwards. Oh and don’t ever give this dude candy, he gets really hyper when he eats candy, and he still hasn’t been able to control it.
[/li][li] LIKES -[/b] surfing, pizza, sports, writing, poetry, superhero movies, FRIENDS, candy, playing racecar games, Halloween, the beatles, the beach, working on his car, meeting new people, star wars, peanutbutter & banana sandwiches, reading,

HISTORY:
The earliest memory that luke has was when he was 6 ½ years old and he watched his father beat his mother nearly to death, he was too young to do anything and too scared to say anything when the doctors asked what happened. He was always scared of his father and it didn’t help that his mother always shushed him and told him “don’t make your daddy mad, sweetie.” Whenever luke did something wrong, she would take the heat and the beating that followed. His dad was never mean to him, he was just an angry person when something ticked him off enough. He was always complaining about work and how if he wouldn’t have blown out his knee back in his sophomore year in college, he would have been an NFL player by now.
When luke was 10 years old, he didn’t get the present he wanted for his birthday, which made him throw a fit. His dad hit him for the first time and locked him in his bedroom for being an “ungrateful little bastard.” His mother felt so bad that she had went the next day to get him the present he wanted, on her way back from the store, a drunk driver in a pickup truck hit her car at full speed, resulting in her untimely death. When the unopened remote control car was found at the scene, luke’s father immediately blamed him for it, which was when the real beatings happened.
He blamed luke for his wife’s death and after awhile, luke started to blame himself as well, and stopped asking for things all together. As he got older, the beatings happened less and his father started to come around and actually stand by his son when he saw potential in him. He got luke into several sports and when he saw that he was athletic enough to show promise, he starting personally coaching him and being a better dad. He was pushy, aggressive and he forced luke to practice more than he could take, but at least he wasn’t being hit anymore.
He let his dad mold him into the perfect jock son, just following along and doing as he was told. He believed his dad only wanted him to become something in life, especially since he couldn’t progress himself in the sports world. When he was a sophomore in high school, his dad had caught him kissing another boy in his bedroom, which was when he found out his dad’s views on homosexual feelings. His father had given him a long lecture about how wrong being gay was and how he was going to hell for those sins if he kept on practicing homosexuality.
Luke tried his best to be straight, he even dated a few girls. It wasn’t too hard really, in fact, he was getting better at pretending, he just hated when it came to the sex part, always trying to avoid that part as much as possible. At the end of his junior year, he got drunk and let another boy come to his bedroom, his judgment clouded by the intake of alcohol. His father ended up walking in and that’s all Luke could remember. The next morning he woke up in the hospital with bruises all over his body and face. When he was finally able to come home, he got another lecture, ultimatum, and was told that they were moving so that they got a fresh new start.
