For once, it seemed like things in Eva's life had taken a turn for the better. Her ex was still around, which she wasn't a fan of, but as long as he stayed away from Jason, that wouldn't be a problem for her. She didn't want Jason knowing he was around or what she had done to him. She knew that what she had done was wrong, beyond anything that she had done before, and she didn't want Jason to know that she had a side like that. Jason was the first really good thing to happen to her since she moved here. Sure, she had dated Avery but she was pretty sure that the first time they had dated, he was only into her because she was available. The second time they had dated, she was hung up on Jason, and he was hung up on Kaylee. It wasn't even a real relationship. It was one person who missed someone and one person who had made a huge mistake.

Her and Jason had gotten past that though and they were happily dating. She had met his dad, he had met her parents and they loved him. They thought he was the best thing since Jesus. After he had left, her mom had swooned over him for days. Eva couldn't help but smile at herself in the mirror - she didn't know how she had gotten so lucky, but she had and she couldn't be happier. She had never dated anyone that her parents liked, except Josh, but now they thought he was a heroin addict so that was a no-go for them. They hadn't been the biggest fan of Avery. Her mom said that his lips threw off his face and he wasn't polite enough for her.

She quickly finished her make up and got dressed, going downstairs and into the kitchen, grinning at her mom when she walked in. "I'm gonna head over to Jason's for a bit." Her mom, smiled at her, then kissed her cheek, "Have fun, sweetie." Eva grinned at her mom, "I will." After talking to her mom for a few minutes, she headed out the door and got in her car. Before driving off, she flipped through the radio stations, stopping on a song that she liked, then finally pulled out of her driveway and drove to Jason's house, singing along to the radio the whole time.

She parked in his driveway, took the key from the ignition and texted him to tell him that she was heading up now. She walked right into his house, hoping that his sister wasn't around. She breathed a sigh of relief when she wasn't in the living room; his sister wasn't his biggest fan and she didn't want to deal with her telling her she was a gold digger right before she was going to see Jason. She just wanted time with him. She ran up the stairs and opened the door to his room, flopping onto the bed next to him, laying on her stomach. "Hi, baby." She leaned up on her elbows, pressing her lips to his for a few seconds then pulled away, smiling at him. "Where's Gigi?"

[JASON LEE WALKER]

Things in Jason’s life were starting to slow down and move at a better and constant pace. Throughout the last half of his sophomore year, his life had pretty much just gone to shit and it was one thing after another with no break whatsoever. The thing that started it all was the car accident that almost killed two of his best friends, and his girlfriend at the time, Hayleigh. He started treating her better, realizing that life was too short and you shouldn’t treat the people you love like shit and take them for granted. After the accident, shortly after, his best friend, Ryan was going through his own issues and Jason offered to let him life with his family, which he still does till this day, but it was still sad hearing that your best friend was being abused behind closed doors. Sure, the result turned out great, considering Ryan was going to be his brother legally pretty soon once all the adoption stuff was set, but it didn’t mean he wanted his hubs to have to go through all that abuse.

Just when things were starting to calm down, Hayleigh moved away, breaking Jason’s heart and this is when things really started just falling apart around Jason. He found a new girl, Eva, but who only hurt him every chance she got. He fell too hard and too fast and always found his way back to her. He didn’t know why he was so drawn to her, but he couldn’t help but take her back every time she hurt him. He was in a bad place mentally, especially since his parents announced their divorce and his sister was going through hell in her own life and it didn’t help that she was constantly telling Jason how bad Eva was for him. It was almost too much to handle at times, but his now steady girlfriend, Eva, had helped him through it all despite their own issues at times. She was the constant thing in his life and finally, they were problem free and they were just happy now.

He never thought he’d fall in love with someone again, but Eva was different, hell this wasn’t even the same love he had experienced before. Sure, he loved Hayleigh, always would, she was his first love, but Eva… she had him fucking smitten. He had cheated on Hayleigh constantly, but with Eva, he didn’t even think about it, Eva was it for him. She was beautiful inside and out. Sure, she hurt him several times, but he truly believed she wouldn’t do it again. They both had trust issues and she wasn’t usually the one to fall for people so quickly, but she did, and he knew that she had trouble and a fear when it came to dealing with all the new emotions that came with love. He understood her in ways that no one else did and he knew that she was only this certain way with him and he appreciated it.

He still wasn’t sure how he got so lucky, to have someone that looked like her into someone younger and that looked like him? He knew he was attractive, but he thought that Eva was way out of his league. He knew he was lucky and he knew he’d be a fool to mess up with someone as great as she was. She wasn’t only beautiful, but she was different from other girls, she was funny, sexy, caring, sweet, and thoughtful. She wasn’t like that with everyone, but Jason was glad that he was lucky enough to see those qualities in her. Hell, she had even sang to him in front of a room full of students before. He was actually spending a lot more time with her lately, things were just that great with them and he was glad that the drama in each of their lives had seemed to fade away and they could just be happy with one another. He had even met her parents, which went way better than he expected, but then again, he was always good with parents. It just came even more naturally when it came to Eva, mainly because he really did genuinely care about her and wanted her parents to like him. His own dad approved of Eva, he knew how Jason was and he knew he needed a girl like Eva in his life.

It was now summer vacation and Jason was excited, he was finally free to do whatever he wanted without having to deal with worrying about school work. Sure, he’d miss baseball but at least he still had bro time and video games to keep him occupied in the fun and games part of his weekly necessities. Today was different though, he was supposed to see his girlfriend today, which he tried his best to balance well with his Ryan time. The boys had a tendency to get too caught up in their video games; their girlfriends had to practically peel them away from one another. It was a little funny, but Jason knew that it bothered the girls a bit, but they just didn’t understand how important video games and bro time were sometimes.

Jason slept in a little bit today, but he did manage to get up and do his usual morning ritual (even if it was mid-afternoon already) so that he was at least a bit presentable. He wasn’t sure what they were going to do today yet, so he didn’t bother with picking out his clothes for the day just yet. He stayed in his boxers and white tee-shirt, he usually slept in just boxers, but it had gotten really cold during the night so he kept his shirt on. He got back into bed and pulled his cover up, still feeling a bit cold. He grabbed his phone to see if he had any missed text messages or calls, which he did, but he was too lazy to answer or call back anyone. His phone buzzed right when he was about to put his cell back down and it was a text from Eva, a person he definitely would text/call back no matter what. He smiled when he read that she was coming up and he put his cell down. He stayed calm and smiley for a moment, but then slight panic came to his face as he looked around his room quickly, making sure it didn’t resemble a pig sty. He could be messy sometimes and he always avoided Eva seeing that side of him.

He let out a sigh of relief when he realized that his room looked fine, a small smile appearing on his face as he relaxed back into his pillow comfortably. He could be such a lazy ass sometimes; it always took him a while to get out of bed. He stretched out his arms and sat up against his head board, as soon as he put his arms down, he heard his bedroom door open and his girlfriend made her way onto his bed comfortably. He grinned at the sight of her, his face lighting up as always whenever she was in his viewing range. ”hey beautiful,” he said before returning her kiss, he looked around as she asked her question. ”my guess is… either with ry or with my dad…Gigi has captured their hearts too… I’m starting to think I’m not her favorite anymore,” he pouted, ”I’m still your favorite right?”

He smiled at Eva and lying on his side a little, so that he could give her more attention. ”you look beautiful as always, by the way… unfortunately I’m still in my lazy clothes, I just woke up like…an hour ago. Me and Ry were up late last night kicking ass on Modern Warfare” he chuckled, sure he didn’t even have to explain why he had slept in so late. ”did you figure out what you want to do today? I think we should go out and do something… then later on when night comes, go to a club or something?” he shrugged at his suggestion, ”we’ve never gone out dancing before… “ he said looking over at her, wondering if she was up for the idea.

Eva frowned a little, "I wanted to see her." She looked up at him, smiling, "You'll always be my favorite." She reached her hand up, touching his face lightly. He had come into her life from nowhere and for some reason, he stuck around through everything. She wasn't quite sure; she had hurt more times than she could really remember and yet, he always came back to her. The expression on her face softened when he turned to look at her and she moved closer to him, draping one of her arms over him. "I think you look perfect," she paused, trailing her fingers down his shirt, "I like this look on you." She brought her eyes back up to his, letting them meet his then rolled them dramatically. "Of course you were. Aren't you always?" Ryan was always the cause of her boyfriend not being able to see her. It really annoyed her and she normally had to drag Jason away from him, but she owed her relationship to Ryan. He had been the one to convince him to come see her sing and without that, they wouldn't be here.

She shrugged her shoulders a little in response to what she wanted to do. "All of that sounds fine." She smiled at him a little, "We'll have to go to my house before we go dancing though. I need to change for that." She turned so her back was to him, moving so her back was pressed against his chest and wrapped his arms around her, "We could get food and go bowling or something." She grinned up at him, "We can do anything. I just wanna hang out with you finally." She pushed her lips into a pout, "Ryan's been stealing you from me a lot lately." She closed her eyes, pulling him closer to her to her, just laying there for a minute. When she finally spoke, her voice was barely a murmur, "I missed you." It sickened Eva how much she would miss him after a few days of not seeing him. It had only been a few days since she had last seen him and she had been counting down the days until they had plans.

Jason couldn’t help but grin at the fact that Eva wanted to see Gigi, she always did whenever she came by. It was sweet really, not only was Gigi a gift from her, but he felt like Eva was his puppy’s mom. Gigi had a way of making her rounds though, especially since she loved how many people resided in the household. ”I know, baby.” he touched her cheek lightly, paused and looked towards his open door, ”Gigi!” he called out and waited a few seconds before speaking again, ”yeah, she’s probably sleeping with one of them… she’s a little bit of a slut, you know,” he joked and laughed lightly. He blushed a little when she confirmed that he’d always be her favorite, ”Good, because I like being your favorite”, he grinned.

She placed her arm over his lower half and he could only feel comfort in it, he always loved being in her presence even if they weren’t touching. ”you like any look on me,” he teased and chuckled touching her hand lightly and giving it a squeeze. ”True”, he laughed as she brought up the fact that he was always gaming with Ryan late at night. It was like their late night ritual and because it was summer, he knew it would only get worse, considering they didn’t have school the following week day. ”Hey, things get heated in the gamer world,” he nodded and laughed a little, knowing Eva didn’t care much more that ‘world’.

He scoffed a bit, ”You look like you’re dressed for dancing to me,” he smiled as she turned her back against him and wrapped his arm around her body comfortably, keeping her close. ”you like bowling?” he asked a bit surprised, ”I never pegged you for the bowling type, but yeah, I’m down for that… I haven’t been bowling in… phew.. a while” he grinned. He nodded in agreement, ”I know, me too…” his expression softened at the pout on her face and it only made him hold her closer. ”Ryan just does more in bed than you do, did you know he’s into handcuffs!?” he shrugged joking, of course, but kissed her cheek and laughed to show her that he was kidding.

Her next words were close to a whisper but he was close enough to hear her, ”I miss you too baby, I always do when you’re not with me,” he kissed behind her ear lightly and squeezed her tighter. ”Give me a few minutes to get more… presentable… then we can go have our… eva and jas day?...that sound good?” he said lifting his head up and looking down at her with a bright smile on his face. He always loved spending time with her, she had been just what he needed in his life and she made him more than happy. ”I love you pretty lady,” he whispered in her ear before releasing her and getting up to get dressed for their day together.
