TAGGED: OPEN OUTFIT: CLICK
another deep, annoyed sigh left the girls lips. as much as she loved being away from the high school idiots and airheads, she found herself running into more of them on campus. she knew the high school orientations were going to be coming through a lot more since the school year was wrapping up, but the first few groups made amandalin cringe. mainly because her two best friend weren't in them. eddie, well he was expelled for streaking so she wouldn't even be seeing his fucked up face in any of the groups she knew that for damn sure.
anyway, amandalin was sitting on one of the benches on the campus with running with scissors across her lap. her eyes scanned the pages until the words were fixated in her mind before turning to the next. in her eyes, augusten burroughs was one of the best authors and you would almost always catch her reading or re-reading one of his books. she adjusted the one out of five necklaces that hung around her neck, brushing against the neckline of her nirvana tee shirt. her eyes skipped from the page over to the long sleeve plaid shirt that lay over the black band tee. her eyes squinted a little, knowing that several scars-old and new-laid behind the shirt's fabric. she blinked, a nice long blink, almost like her mind was hitting reset before opening them up again to continue reading.
when amandalin read, especially running with scissors, she tended to zone out and didn't make much note to any background noise so was pretty confused on why her light was being disrupted. "excuse me you're in my light." she sighed, if amandalin got a penny for every time she sighed she could probably buy gaga. her eyes never left the page, she wasn't too interested on whoever it was standing in her way of finishing augusten's sex scene with neil in the book. she loved reading that scene, the way he described himself after sleeping with him was the same feeling she felt after every client. empowered, amazing, and at the same time felt like nothing, like used goods.
