ten things she loves; - ice cream and candy. she has a major sweet tooth. - music. her guitar is her life. she's been playing since she was eleven. - her siblings. she has seven of them. she loves all of them but one. - animals. she has two dogs and a sugar glider. she's also vegetarian. - movies. movies. movies. she's a huge movies fanatic. - running. well it burns off steam and it helps her to relax. - reading. she would rather stay inside for a night and read then to go out and party. - snakes. as weird as it sounds she loves them. her brothers are terrified of them, yet she loves them. - texting. she loves to just text random stuff all the time because it passes the time for her. - hot chocolate. she was never a coffee person, in fact she hated it. but she sure loves hot chocolate. nine things she hates; - people that hurt one another. what's the point to it? delilah's is just super bad.. as in her siblings think she may be borderline depressed. - responsible she did have to step up and take care of her younger siblings at the age of thirteen. - indecisive she can never make up her mind. one little decision that should take thirty seconds takes five minutes for her. - childish (at times) she loves to act like a kid. she pretty much is one still. - truthful it's impossible for her to lie. you will know if she does because she'll start to stutter. - innocent as in.. never even had her first kiss. or held hands with a guy. five outgoing texts; - sebastian i'm hungry. make food. her brother sebastian - come watch movies in pajamas k? her best friend addison - i have to work all weekend D: save me. her coworker liam - jamie i am not going to do your laundry. do it yourself. her brother jamie -who are you again? some random guy that texted her. four people; - jason her brother. he abused her basically her entire life. he ran away after their mothers death and she hasn't heard from him since which is perfectly okay with her. - addison her best friend. they've been close since they were five years old in kindergarten. she's the only one who knows about her brother abusing her. - sarahbella her mother. she died in a car accident when she was thirteen leaving her to take care of her younger siblings because her dad became a depressed alcoholic and stayed locked up in his room. her brothers had to work to support the family leaving delilah to care for tommy and kacey. - jackson her father. once her mother died, her father locked himself up in his room and drank away his pain. he hardly ever came out of his room. he says he was fine and he was just doing work but all the kids knew the truth. he still to this day doesn't come out unless it's for a special holiday or no one is home. three pets; - aspen three years old. siberian husky. - jake eight months. beagle - charlie one year. sugar glider. two major events; - the rape. growing up her brother jason had always picked on her. he would beat her just like he would beat their brothers. but isn't that what big brothers did? that's what all of the siblings thought. but when delilah was ten he came into her room. kacey was three at the time and was passed out in her crib next to delilahs bed. that was the first night that jason raped her. he would threaten that it would get worse if she told anyone. so she kept her mouth shut. she only told addison four years later after jason had been gone for a year and she was sure he wasn't going to come back. -the death of her mother. delilah had to stay after school for a test one day and her mother was coming to get her. it was slippery and snowing out and her mother went to stop at a red light and her brakes locked on her and she slid out into the middle of the busy intersection. she pronounced dead at the scene. delilah never forgave herself for her death because she wouldn't be dead if she hadn't had to come pick delilah up.. one promise; - after her mothers death, delilah promised to always keep her younger siblings safe no matter what. she is extremely protective over them and would do anything to keep them safe. especially from jason if he had ever came back. she's still protective over her older siblings too, but they're just as protective over her so she worries more about the younger ones who can't protect themselves so easily. even though kayleigh was pretty innocent for her age and she didn't really date people, she felt something different with darren. no she wasn't starting to fall for him or whatever everyone else says when they get that feeling. she liked him though. probably not enough to date the guy though simply because well, she didn't like to date. she didn't know what it was about it but she didn't feel safe in relationships. she only ever had one boyfriend when she was sixteen and he had barely even kissed her. they would have quick pecks on the lips and that would be it. she wanted one random super long make out session. actually she was to the point where she was super curious about sex. well normal teenagers would start being curious in their high school years. that wasn't exactly the case for kayleigh. the thought of sex sort of grossed her out and she never thought she would until she absolutely had to to have kids. but that all changed when she got into college and had a roommate who always had her boyfriend over and they always were doing it. they even did it at night when kayleigh was in the room which was super gross to her, but nonetheless they did it and she had to deal with it. which sort of brings her to darren. back in high school besides her one boyfriend, she had a crush on her best friend leon. but then she moved before he ever found out. since then she hasn't really dated or even crushed on anyone because once she was out of school she planned on moving far away and starting all over all by herself. but now that she had darren as a pretty good friend, she was starting to find him more and more attractive every time that they had seen each other. which is why when he called her on skype just a little over an hour ago, she got all excited. kayleigh had been called a tease in the past and she had to admit she was one. she never realized it really, which i guess is why she was teasing darren. although behind all that teasing she was desperate to just go up to him and kiss him. a full on real kiss. she would probably sleep with him too if he had wanted to simply because he was so attractive and she wanted to experience what it was like. plus, whoever said you needed to date someone in order to sleep with them? knowing that she only had an hour to get ready, she started to panic. he was right. she wanted to get all cute and what not. normally she wouldn't care, but she was planning on making her move at the mall. of course she was kidding about the whole victorias secret lingerie thing, but she was dead serious on kissing him. she was a chicken when it came to that sort of stuff and she made a promise to herself after they had hung up on skype that she was going to do it today. she had no idea how he would react and she was perfectly okay with that. the worst that could happen would be him leaving her stranded at the mall. all this was running through her head the entire time she was getting ready. she dressed up in a cute casual dress she had and slipped on a pair of black flats. she decided to just let her natural curly hair down and to apply a little eyeliner and mascara before he arrived. even on the way to the mall she only made small talk with him because she was nervous but at the same time she was getting all excited about just being there with him. she hadn't really gone out or had fun with a guy since she was back home with leon. "so where to first?" she looked over at darren with a smile as they walked into the mall.
