Victoria Valentine spent more time in front of the mirror that day than she had in the past month. She was a girl that liked things orderly and perfect and her looks were certainly not an exception. Her usual routine had been swaped for a much more detailed on that afternoon. The reason for this was ofcourse a boy. Actually a man in this case. Even the word man made her want to smile and giggle. There was something about dates that just did that to all girls. The effort to look naturally beautiful, the excitment leading up to it and then the floaty feeling you got when your date actually went well. Now that she thought about it, was this a date?
Tori wrinkled up her nose in thought for a moment, ignoring the waiter who'd just stopped beside her. Dinner in a cozy little restaurant would usually be considered a date. Then again, this restaurant just hapened to be on the outskirts of town and not one Victoria would typically been caught dead in. Dates usually didn't occur between student and teacher either. It was hardly fair to consider Xavier just any teacher though. He was still young and easily the hottest thing in this town. There should have been an exception to the rule, just for him.
Date or not, Tori was sitting in the restaurant waiting as anxious as could be. There were so many things for her to worry about right now. Mr Summers losing his job. Her getting kicked out of school. Her father finding out. Strangely though, not one of those things passed through her blonde little head. All she was worried about right now was Xavier actually showing up. Tori wasn't usually early, infact she had a flare for being late. Just waiting here for the past five minutes made her wonder why anyone every showed up anywhere on time. Five minutes was feeling like hours however as excitment and nerves riddled her body.
"I'm just waiting for someone" Victoria smiled politely up at the waiter. Running a hand through her freshly waved hair, Tori kept an eye out for that handsome figure to come through the door. Time spent with Xavier was like nothing else. His good looks and the teacher thing had ofcourse drawn her in but Tori quickly started seeing things compltely different. Xavier wasn't like highschool guys. He was intelligent and she didn't have to dumb herself down to protect his masculinity. He was witty and charming and Tori never quite knew if she felt like an adult around him or a love struck school girl. For someone who was always in control, this situation was very different for Tori and probably what she loved the most

Xavier turned right on the final light of his journey to the restaurant, it was definitely outside of the town he resided in, but there was a reason for that. He was having an affair with a student and he knew the two deserved a night out for once, always having to hide behind closed doors and exchanging secret glances at one another. Sure, the restaurant wasn’t as elegant as he’d wanted it to be, but it was something. Plus, it gave the pair the opportunity to go out as a couple. Wait, were they a couple? They had never really had that conversation quite yet, it just seemed inevitable. Well, whatever this was, Xavier enjoyed it, despite his fear of being caught and possibly destroying his career. Yes, he knew this wasn’t the smartest of his acts, but he couldn’t stop himself when it first happened. The girl was so… mesmerizing and she was definitely mature for her age, but not too much, to the point where it was annoying. She was fun and feisty, which he loved about her, but never, did he think he’d be so into a student. And by the looks of how things were going, he was falling more and more for the girl as the days went by.
He pulled into the parking lot with ease, knowing he was about five or so minutes late, but he had the car accident on the highway to thank for that. Tori was usually late anyways, right? He just hoped their reservation wasn’t given to someone else, but that was highly unlikely.. He found a space near the front and practically hopped out of his vehicle, shutting his car door behind him a little too hard. He didn’t feel the butterflies just yet, not until he entered the restaurant, looked around and spotted her. She was as beautiful as ever, always glowing wherever she went, therefore Xavier could always spot the blonde. He froze in place and smiled over at her, he finally walked over to her, his arms hanging loosely at his sides. He had a black suit on with a burgundy button down shirt under. He always made sure he looked nice for her, he wanted to keep her interested, you know?
The closer he got to her, the more relaxed he got, it was like all of the worry of being caught went right out of the window. His cologne was probably going to hit her nostrils soon, especially when he walked over to her side of the table first to plant a soft kiss on her cheek, ”Hey gorgeous”. He quickly removed the jacket of his suit and placed it on his chair before sitting down. ”well, this is new…you actually beat me somewhere”, he teased joining her, seeing that his menu was already waiting for him on his side of the table. His eyes met hers and he couldn’t help but smile wider, those captivating eyes of hers always did that to him. It was actually hard to look away; he had to practically force himself to when he was at school. ”the place wasn’t hard to find, was it?”, he asked making sure she didn’t have any trouble.
