Sylvanas, daughter of Nicolas and Tatiana, was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She was always a little more privileged than her friends in Saint Petersburg, and her family did what they could to get her the best education they could. She was enrolled in a kindergarten to begin with, and attended an elementary school with local students. Once she reached middle school age, Tatiana and Nicolas enrolled her into a private school located in Moscow. She stayed in a dorm with her fellow classmates (all girls), and had limited chaperoned time to explore the city. Upon reaching her senior grade classes, Sylvanas and her friends were allowed to leave campus at their leisure, so long as it didn’t interfere with classes. Because of her private boarding school education, Sylvanas has always been an independent person, which prompted her to apply to be a foreign exchange student. In what would have been her eleventh and final year of school, Sylvanas was selected to be an exchange student at First Colonial High School. The education she’s receiving there isn’t quite on par with what she could be getting in Moscow, but she’ll be in the States for two years, graduating with the Junior class she’s been placed in. After graduation, she plans on applying for Cambridge University, if her grades and extracurriculars are good enough.

Even though Sylvanas is extremely intelligent, she doesn’t always get the bigger picture. She’s brand new to the American lifestyle, and doesn’t get those ‘that’s what she said’ jokes. She doesn’t always understand when someone is flirting with her by what they say, and for a lot of things, she has to rely on body language. So if she looks like she’s checking you out, she’s probably just deciphering your intentions. She may not always be interested.

Speaking of interested, Sylvanas is bi-curious. When it comes to dating and actually being with someone, she prefers the love of a man, possibly a year or so older than her. But, coming from a school filled with girls, she relates better to females. She wouldn’t shun the idea of seeing another girl. In fact, she’s kissed one or two at parties. It can be difficult to play правда или давать in a room filled with girls, not that she didn’t try.
